Crash Landing on You is definitely the best KDrama ever made. It has all the feels and one is taken on a rollercoaster of emotions. The two leads have so much chemistry that they are together in real life. It is a 12 out of 10!
Something I whole heartedly recommend watching is " W " ! It is SO good. It's about a girl whose father is a webtoon author who keeps trying to kill off the main character because of him "swallowing" him, but heroine keeps foiling the plot he writes by landing inside the webtoon and saving main character everytime. If anyone likes angsty romance with good comedy, you have to watch W 🥺

To this day I still tear up when I hear Beautiful Life from Goblin. I absolutely loved Goblin but I can't bring myself to watch it again because of how emotional the last few episodes are. Such an unforgettable drama!
"Fated to Love You" and "The Heirs" were my gateway to Kdramas and the rest is history. lol Honestly, I enjoy Asian dramas (Thai, Korean, Japanese, & Chinese) moreso than American dramas these days. Tfs
Chinese dramas - You are my Pretty Sunshine, Love 020, Sunshine of my Life, the General and I, Here to the Heart; Go Go Squid, The King's Woman; Thai: Pursue Love Back to the Heart, Morrasoon Sawat, anything with Yaya and Nadech (lol), Murphy's Law, Japanese: Black devil, white prince...just soo many. Download the Viki app for more options.
i've just finished watching cloy and omg did i cry! i can't stop thinking about it and i wish it was longer tbh. i'm searching for some more dramas but i don't think anything could top this master piece 💗
Crash Landing on You was also my reintroduction to Kdrama! It's still my most favorite compared to Start Up- Han Ji Pyeong ❤️!, Mr. Queen - also super good, 100 Days My Prince- meh, Rookie Historian-meh, and currently keeping up with Vincenzo- so so good!
Maya, I would highly recommend Mr Queen and W. Mr Queen was airing originally around the same time as True Beauty. W is fantastic starring Lee Jong-suk.
Cloy is the only Korean drama I’ve seen so far and it seriously blew me away! My husband watched it with me and he said it changed his life 😭😂it’s so good I felt like I was close friends with all the characters 😅 I’ve watched it 3 times so far haha
Crash landing on you was my first kdrama and I have watched more than 35 kdramas after that it still remains on the top for me but thanks to cloy i became a part of a whole new beautiful world which helps me go through life a lot i have watched so many drama's that I didn't know what to watch anymore please let me know about some nice romcom's that are gonna make me happy
If there’s a k-drama I would recommend, it would be CHICAGO TYPEWRITER. It’s underrated, yet it’s good. (And one of my goals this year 2021 is to watch and finish one series of Korean drama at least once a month 🤣)
My one recommendation for anyone who is looking for a feel-good, lighthearted drama would be Weightlifting Kim Bok Joo. It has been my favourite drama since it aired in 2016. It has amazing production, aesthetics are amazing, the chemistry between the actors is immaculate, I've also never laughed and cried as much as I did when i watched that drama. That will always be my no.1 recommendation. One drama that is airing currently is Nevertheless, which is on Netflix (it currently has one episode) and oh my god, a drama has never hooked me so quick. It has very realistic romance between the two main characters, but its so intriguing because we only see it from the females perspective, so there is an air of mystery around the male character.. i would highly recommend watching the first episode of that drama. :) Other recommendations include -Love in the Moonlight (historical) -Descendants of the Sun (medical/action) -Healer (action) -Hotel De Luna (fantasy) -D-Day (Medical) -Uncontrollably Fond (you can only watch this once... that's all I'm going to say) -A Love so Beautiful ([not the Korean version - the Chinese version...] school/melodrama)
I really recommend you shopping king louis it will set your standards very high its a daily drama where two people meet and start a life together with no money and get wealthier little by little theis connection was very heartwarming and if you like that drama there is a very similar historical one called 100 days my prince with the same female lead
@@urbbylin true... For long time i kept that drama (skl) aside, but when I watched it my heart melted away. Am really someone who's not in to action/thriller/suspense dramas.. But I do like heartwarming dramas... 💜
Watched over 80+ kdrama ..and still my top 10 contains 5 dramas of your list .. Must watch list : Vincenzo, Do Bong , Descendants of the Son , Boys over flower , The king , Sky Castle , Her private Life , Love Alarm, Record of The Youth, WWW , 1% of Something ,Another Miss Oh
I also absolutely loved goblin because it gives me such a unique feeling. It is so special and there is no drama that's quite like it. I guess my favorite drama of all time has to be W. The combination of comedy, romance, fantasy and thriller was just amazing
list of my favourite kdrama are: 1.arthdal chronicles 2.kill me heal me 3.strong woman do bong soo 4.scarlet heart 5.weight lifting fairy kim 6.Mr queen 7.vincenzo 8.psychopath diary 9.the king eternal monarch 10.melting me softly 11.extraordinary you 12.crash landing on you 13.hotel del Luna 13.abyss 14.mr sunshine(it is a must watch k drama)
I also recommend Backstreet Rookie, you can watch it here on UA-cam! At first it may seem kind of crazy with some of the fighting scenes going over the top with effects, but it’s honestly such a great series! It’s about a girl who is always defending others from bullies and most of the time gets in trouble until she meets a guy and falls in love at first sight. A couple years later, she starts working at the convenience store he manages and learns that violence isn’t always the answer. The other thing I love about this show is that all of the side characters also have their own stories and it focuses a lot on the importance of family and friends later on in the series and honestly gets sooo cute. I’ve been thinking of rewatching it (though I doubt it’ll be my first time watching it again.) I haven’t watched many K-Drama’s and I was gonna give up on it at first but I’m so glad I didn’t cause it’s one of the few shows that’s made me cry.
I love everything on your list! Except for Goblin lol. I couldn't get past the age difference 🤣 If I may add: Mr. Sunshine, Chicago, Reply 1988, Mr. Queen, Healer, Dr. Romantic, Hotel del Luna, Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-Joo 💜
Same with me in the case of goblin , I don't know but I felt cringe watching then kissing and romancing, I thought it is only me who didn't like goblin
This is my top 3 Kdramas with Beautiful Actors & Actresses ; Amazing Stories ; Romantic-Comedy-Thriller in it ! 1. My Secret Romance 2. While You Were Sleeping 3. The Heirs
*me doing nothing* *Maya posts about dramas* Me: i think watching dramas is also productive since maya made a video on it so let's watch more dramas 🙈😂
YESS finally someone mentions itaewon class!! such a great drama, great characters especially Ahn Bo Hyun playing the villian was just chefs kiss. i loved how the drama touched down on topics that most kdramas wouldnt. the struggles of being a foreigner in south korea (especially a foreigner of colour), being transgender, i also loved the both main leads acting i thought it was perfect. the show teaches you many great lessons. such as: dont let someone even if they are of higher status than you step on your dignity, DONT LET ANGER LEAD TO VIOLENCE, be considerete and thoughtful of the people around you, dont let anyone tell you that you cant reach your dreams, PATIENCE PAYS OFF, EMBRACE DIFFERENCES, Bullying others will lead to karma, FOLLOW YOUR GUT, value the people around you and many more! drama is great 10/10 i loved it so much and recommended people to watch it first instead of listening to others opinion because you might be surprised!
I love all the dramas you have mentioned in this video. They are all amazing! For 2020 my favourite was definitely StartUp. But I wished they ended the love triangle sooner and gave more dosan and dalmi happy moments than dragging it until ep 15 and making fans emotionally stressed and exhausted. I really loved samsan tech’s friendship and dalmi’s relationship with her grandma. P.S. I love Suzy so much and I'm really glad you have seen a lot of her dramas.
All these recommendation channels and not one mentioned 'its okay, that's love'. Such an underrated drama. It was my favourite, but now its 'it's okay to not be okay'. Still my top two even after ive watched so many dramas. Everyone should try watching it.
Her exasperation at start up - yes girl. But one good thing that came out of it is that I really started noticing Seon Ho and watching 2 days and 1 night
I watched start up until episode 12 only. I watched it bcoz of joo hyuk but I ended up loving Kim Seon ho. Now I’m following him, watching 2days and 1 night, and I love his singing. Looking forward for his new drama😍
Best Kdramas I've watched and I can't move on after watching Crash landing on you - cried a lot of times Legend of the Blue sea - Leads are perfect for each other , makes me kilig Moon lovers scarlet heart ryeo - makes me cry like a baby This 3 Kdramas has special place in my heart and it's hard to move on after watching those dramas. No boring episode. Thank me later.
I was expecting descendants of the sun also in this list.. apart from the romance the bromance was also very genuine.. do let me know your thoughts on the same. Also are you watching vincenzo these days? 😉 Lots of love from India ♥️
My top 3 are Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Are You Human? (So underrated and the male lead had to play two characters with one pretending to be the other one, and the way he transitioned between the two was amazing), and While You Were Sleeping. I do also recommend It's Okay to Not Be Okay just because of how realistic and relatable it is, and will be rewatching it with my friend!
Why is Descendants Of The Sun not mentioned! That's the only reason I got drawn towards Korean Drama. Please watch it people... Plus yes, My Love From The Stars deserves to be the top pick!

Good critique. Also loved Crash Landing but would put Mr. Sunshine at the top of the list too.Lee Byun-Hung and Kim Tae-ri are mesmerizing. Something in the Rain is a very memorable love story and Jung Hae-in is so good, I am watching all Kdramas and movies he stars in. Son Ye-Jin co stars and was as memorable as she was in Crash Landing.
I've struggled to watch Goblin and I've tried three or four times. But like you, I truly struggle(d) with the age difference but based on your review, I will continue watching when I have time (I've only managed to finish the 1st episode...).
I was waiting for this video!! I think you had this in your notes app as an idea when you were showing how you organize things on your MacBook! Excited to see your top 10 list!! (My top 3 would be Hello my twenties, When the Camelia Blooms and Strangers from Hell)

Ah, more Kdramas to add to my ever growing list. 😂 I just was watching a bit of Iteawon Class a few mins ago before watching this which is a coincidence :’) I love Strong Girl Bong Soon - that was my first Kdrama I watched last year. I would definitely recommend Hwarang if you haven’t watched it - a historical drama which yes I did mainly watching because BTS’ V was in it but I thought all the actors were great and got really sucked into the plot when I was watching it 😅

You're Beautiful is a must see! It's about twin siblings, one (he is male) is a popstar, and his twin sister is training to become a nun. The popstar has an accident before signing with a large male group, so his assistant finds his twin sister and persuades her to pretend to be her brother for just a day so she can sign the contract. Come to find out, her brother ends up taking longer than expected to recover, so she has to pretend to be him for a lot longer than expected. It's a really funny drama and I think you would like it! :)
when the camellia blooms is a must watch. I have watched like over 60-70 k-dramas since i started 3 years ago. I have always had my favorites like strong woman do bong soon, and weightlifting fairy kim bok joo, but then when I watched when the camellia blooms, I was like WAAW. This drama literally has everything. Crime, romance, drama, comedy. The male lead is just the sweetest and let me tell you about the feel like DAAAMN. I cried all the time (maybe because I cry to like EVERYTHING, but whatever). My biggest recomend if you haven't watched it. Be prepared with the tissues. OBS! it CAN be a bit slow in the first and second episode (it was like that for me) but give it a chance. Trust me. You don't want to miss!!
I just finished It's Okay Not to Be Okay a few days ago and I cried. The character development was so amazing for all characters. I also really loved The King Eternal Monarch, which I don't see many people mention. It kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The ending kinda ruined the show but other than that I thought it was great. The Legend of the Blue Sea will always be my #1 though :) I like Lee Min-ho lol

"Fated to Love You" and "The Heirs" were my gateway to Kdramas and the rest is history. lol Honestly, I enjoy Asian dramas (Thai, Korean, Japanese, & Chinese) moreso than American dramas these days. Tfs
Do you mind giving some Thai,Japanese recs?
Same.
Asian also includes Indian ;)
Chinese dramas - You are my Pretty Sunshine, Love 020, Sunshine of my Life, the General and I, Here to the Heart; Go Go Squid, The King's Woman; Thai: Pursue Love Back to the Heart, Morrasoon Sawat, anything with Yaya and Nadech (lol), Murphy's Law, Japanese: Black devil, white prince...just soo many. Download the Viki app for more options.
@@fdoctor79 haha ok thnx

Ramadan Karim for all muslims 💜🥰🌙
Ramadan Kareem Alina and you have love❤️❤️❤️❤️ I am an Arab
@@_ehei0 😍🥰😘 thank you
Pardon my duty ❤️ Are you Arab?
Ramadan Mubarak 🥰🇩🇿🇩🇿
@Chaima Zerargui Thank you very much
Crash Landing on You was also my reintroduction to Kdrama! It's still my most favorite compared to Start Up- Han Ji Pyeong ❤️!, Mr. Queen - also super good, 100 Days My Prince- meh, Rookie Historian-meh, and currently keeping up with Vincenzo- so so good!
CLOY is myyy favvv😭😭
I loved True Beauty so much !! now I don’t know what to watch 😭
@dramaaddict can u give my some like true Beauty? Love triangle, romance..?

@dramaaddict Thank U !😊💜
@@angelavilla1911you can try, secret garden, suspicious partner, and coffee prince
@@angelssglosss7865 watch the heirs passionate romance and love triangle
Maya, I would highly recommend Mr Queen and W. Mr Queen was airing originally around the same time as True Beauty. W is fantastic starring Lee Jong-suk.
Why is nobody talking about Doom At Your Service?
It's the best K-drama ever made🥺❤️
I highly recommend it to everyone!
(And one of my goals this year 2021 is to watch and finish one series of Korean drama at least once a month 🤣)
i love that drama
I've been wanting to get into Kdramas, so it'll be nice to get some good recommendations from someone who has similar views as me. Thanks Maya!😊💜
Other recommendations include
-Love in the Moonlight (historical)
-Descendants of the Sun (medical/action)
-Healer (action)
-Hotel De Luna (fantasy)
-D-Day (Medical)
-Uncontrollably Fond (you can only watch this once... that's all I'm going to say)
-A Love so Beautiful ([not the Korean version - the Chinese version...] school/melodrama)
I'm so happy you made this video Maya!! I love seeing all of your KDrama content on your Instagram stories, so this was an extra special treat :)
Yaaaaay
Watched over 80+ kdrama ..and still my top 10 contains 5 dramas of your list ..
Must watch list : Vincenzo, Do Bong , Descendants of the Son , Boys over flower , The king , Sky Castle , Her private Life , Love Alarm, Record of The Youth, WWW , 1% of Something ,Another Miss Oh
My favourite is its okay to not be okay. The leads🥰😍😍
Hmm
I also absolutely loved goblin because it gives me such a unique feeling. It is so special and there is no drama that's quite like it.
I guess my favorite drama of all time has to be W. The combination of comedy, romance, fantasy and thriller was just amazing
list of my favourite kdrama are:
1.arthdal chronicles
2.kill me heal me
3.strong woman do bong soo
4.scarlet heart
5.weight lifting fairy kim
6.Mr queen
7.vincenzo
8.psychopath diary
9.the king eternal monarch
10.melting me softly
11.extraordinary you
12.crash landing on you
13.hotel del Luna
13.abyss
14.mr sunshine(it is a must watch k drama)
Ahhhh it grows on you!! It’s really sweet and the second couple’s relationship is amazinggggg
Dang, I must watch all of these!
1. My Secret Romance
2. While You Were Sleeping
3. The Heirs
I love all these!! And so much more...not just Korean but Taiwanese, Chinese, and Thai dramas..I'm hooked
*me doing nothing*
*Maya posts about dramas*
Me: i think watching dramas is also productive since maya made a video on it so let's watch more dramas 🙈😂
Bahahaha I wish!!
Korean drama have two things 1) comedy timing and 2) ruthless emotion...
Crash Landing On You totally the BEST!👏👏 완전 제 인생 드라마에요 ㅎㅎ
I cried so much watching that video!
That proud moment when you know that you have seen all those dramas already 😀
so true
😆😆💪
I loved crash landing on you, it's okay to not be okay, my mister .... So many arghh!! ❤️❤️It's amazing!!
my fav kdrama is PENTHOUSE! SO SO GOOOOODDDD
I am waiting until the summer to binge it!
yes!! it's really good!! :)
I couldn't go past first episode since I felt as if it was rip off of Sky Castle.
yep me too
YESS finally someone mentions itaewon class!!
such a great drama, great characters especially Ahn Bo Hyun playing the villian was just chefs kiss.
i loved how the drama touched down on topics that most kdramas wouldnt. the struggles of being a foreigner in south korea (especially a foreigner of colour), being transgender, i also loved the both main leads acting i thought it was perfect.
the show teaches you many great lessons. such as: dont let someone even if they are of higher status than you step on your dignity, DONT LET ANGER LEAD TO VIOLENCE, be considerete and thoughtful of the people around you, dont let anyone tell you that you cant reach your dreams, PATIENCE PAYS OFF, EMBRACE DIFFERENCES, Bullying others will lead to karma, FOLLOW YOUR GUT, value the people around you and many more! drama is great 10/10 i loved it so much and recommended people to watch it first instead of listening to others opinion because you might be surprised!
You know you know your addicted to kdramas when you’ve watched everything she mentioned 😂
Y'all should watch "Love in the moonlight"❤️
Another one I love is "Descendants of the sun" that one had me FANGIRLINGGG😂❤
My favorite K drama:
1- CLOY
2- Queen of tears
3- It’s ok not to be ok
4- Alchemy of souls season two
5- Penthouse
6- All of us are dead
Her exasperation at start up - yes girl. But one good thing that came out of it is that I really started noticing Seon Ho and watching 2 days and 1 night
Yesss so happy for him!! ^__^
I watched start up until episode 12 only. I watched it bcoz of joo hyuk but I ended up loving Kim Seon ho. Now I’m following him, watching 2days and 1 night, and I love his singing. Looking forward for his new drama😍
"Doom at your service"- This drama is chef's kiss
DESCENDANTS OF THE SUN will be my forever fav drama❤️... everything about DOTS is perfect...OST😍song-song couple 😍...story line.. EVERYTHING!!❤️
Best Kdramas I've watched and I can't move on after watching
Crash landing on you - cried a lot of times
Legend of the Blue sea - Leads are perfect for each other , makes me kilig
Moon lovers scarlet heart ryeo - makes me cry like a baby
This 3 Kdramas has special place in my heart and it's hard to move on after watching those dramas.
No boring episode.
Thank me later.
My second watched K-drama was “it’s okay not to be okay” and i think I set my standards to high lmao
Try It's ok that's love. Its kind of similar to its okay not to be okay in that it also centers around mental health and also has great plot and cast
I loved all these dramas, but Kill Me, Heal Me would also have to be on my list. Just the most amazing acting I've ever seen.
I was expecting descendants of the sun also in this list.. apart from the romance the bromance was also very genuine.. do let me know your thoughts on the same. Also are you watching vincenzo these days? 😉
Lots of love from India ♥️
My top 3 are Strong Woman Do Bong Soon, Are You Human? (So underrated and the male lead had to play two characters with one pretending to be the other one, and the way he transitioned between the two was amazing), and While You Were Sleeping. I do also recommend It's Okay to Not Be Okay just because of how realistic and relatable it is, and will be rewatching it with my friend!
My top favorites are while you were sleeping, crash landing on you, and weightlifting fairy Kim bok joo. These are must watches!!!
Weightlifting fairy was definitely a cute, slice of life drama 😍
a really good drama that everyone should check out is flower of evil. it was so good but so underrated
Why is Descendants Of The Sun not mentioned! That's the only reason I got drawn towards Korean Drama. Please watch it people...
Plus yes, My Love From The Stars deserves to be the top pick!

My favourite kdrama is it's okay not to be ok and penthouse and Vincenzo YOU SHOULD WACTH THESE
omigod penthouse 😭
Good critique. Also loved Crash Landing but would put Mr. Sunshine at the top of the list too.Lee Byun-Hung and Kim Tae-ri are mesmerizing. Something in the Rain is a very memorable love story and Jung Hae-in is so good, I am watching all Kdramas and movies he stars in. Son Ye-Jin co stars and was as memorable as she was in Crash Landing.
내마음속명작은 미스터 션사인이 항상1위 🎉❤🎉
While you were sleeping, the best.
Its super boring i ended up in episode 6
I've struggled to watch Goblin and I've tried three or four times. But like you, I truly struggle(d) with the age difference but based on your review, I will continue watching when I have time (I've only managed to finish the 1st episode...).
I am about to watch Crash Landing On You for a third time 😂🤣
I was waiting for this video!! I think you had this in your notes app as an idea when you were showing how you organize things on your MacBook! Excited to see your top 10 list!! (My top 3 would be Hello my twenties, When the Camelia Blooms and Strangers from Hell)
omgggg!! Mannn timing❤ Actually today my exams got cancelled and i was lyk woah i can start binge watching kdramas again and i was scrolling through netflix and i got ur video notification..i was likeee 😭😭❤❤❤❤😘 lots of lovee❤❤❤💜
First!!!!!
...Thanks for it....It suggests me watch to watch😊💙👍✌️
I recommend "Cheese in the Trap". It's a romcom and drama.
YES THANK YOU
It hurts my heart not to see Reply 1988 here! You should give it a try cause you are missing out!!
Ah, more Kdramas to add to my ever growing list. 😂 I just was watching a bit of Iteawon Class a few mins ago before watching this which is a coincidence :’) I love Strong Girl Bong Soon - that was my first Kdrama I watched last year. I would definitely recommend Hwarang if you haven’t watched it - a historical drama which yes I did mainly watching because BTS’ V was in it but I thought all the actors were great and got really sucked into the plot when I was watching it 😅
Omgosh I’ve seen scenes from Hwarang and I was like “what am I watching” LOL it looks so funny and dramatic!
Yes samee 😅but not only that I also thought the storyline was so good and the actors did a great job and I am almost done with hwarang but it is soo good💜 I litterally started crying at the first episode
@@mayaleex3 so dramatic and comedic (so im sure youll like it cos you said you like comedy) but also does pull you in. I watched it on Netflix but I'm from the UK and one of my US friends said its not on the US Netflix :/ I'm pretty sure itll be on viki tho :)
Yess I watched it!! :) but the production value isn’t the best so it didn’t make into the top 10 hehe since it was made so long ago!
when the camellia blooms is a must watch.
