OMG SAME. I saw it on MBC 2 with arabic subtitles & I just had to watch it up & guess wht the fuck they were talking. But I was interested in kdramas ever since- & this was around 2010ish when I was a teen.

me too when I was 13 around 6 years ago.I was so young and naive back then and because of lack of internet access I couldn't explore new shows and ended up watching it more than 20 or 30 times and now it just holds special place in my heart. Even though I cringe on watching it now but back then there were worst shows going on Indian TV that I ended up comparing them and falling for it very deep.I think it been more than 4 years ever since I have watched an Indian serial. And I am a type of person who takes a lot of time to fall for someone and if once I fall it just impossible for me to get over them. Because of which I now am a Minoz for probably rest of my life. Not even once any other k-actor took over him not even BTS so yes.

extraordinary you is literally so so boring i recently finished it watching and honestly speaking I wanted to leave it after 20 episode it became so difficult to watch even one episode which is of half an hour only but I have left a few kdramas before my leaving kdrama list would have become long if I lest this as well so I some how watched it by skipping skipping.....

I started watching kdramas this year when the lockdown started. I have already watched around 30 dramas and still counting. I think by the end of this year, I'll be a living kdrama dictionary😂

I didn't like it that much it was good at the start but then it kept on dragging there was no plot or story..just scene after scene the story kept on dragging i got bored but still i completed the series...

I don't think it was the best, it's a pretty good show though, but by the time Ii got to it, I had already watched an N number of better kdramas before DOTS, I felt it was a bit too hyped tho.

So far my favrts are(random order cause i cant choose😅 its gonna be pretty long)⬇
1.High school love on (it was my first k-drama.. I watched it on yt.. The lead actors are from a band called infinity, from this drama i got into kpop too...its a sweet, melodramatic high school romance with a supernatural twist...)
2.My love from another star ( it was my 2nd k drama... I loved it so much that i finished it in less than 3days and it has pretty long episodes.. Its a supernatural drama too, its has some pretty hilarious parts also some angst overall i loved it..)
3.Legend of the blue sea ( the plot is kinda similar with my love from another star... Thats why the drama got lots of criticism... But loved it.. Its a beautiful drama,, and its very romantic..)
3.Suspicious partner (its about crime,law,romance, nd ji-chan wook being done with everyone else.. He is the only sane one in this drama otherwise everyone is high on crack😂)
4.kill me heal me ( its a psychological drama,, the male lead is suffering from multiple personality disorder... He has 7different personality living inside him..the actor did such a great job portraying every personality its insane... If you are bored watching typical romance dramas watch this one will love it... 1st half of this drama is hilarious but then angst and angst...)
5.Moon lovers ( just going to say if you want to feel pain just watch it :)...ihve watched it 3yrs ago i still feel the pain but gotta admit its a beautiful drama)
6.Goblin (ig its one of the most popular k drama and most people have already watched it..i live for the bromance btwn gream reaper and goblin 😅..they never failed to make me laugh.. Beautiful ost like iconic songs.. )
7.Mr Sunshine (it was written by the writers if goblin.. So in this drama to theres a big age gap btwn the male female lead.. So if you don't have a problem with age gap nd historical plots this drama is must watch.. The cinematography, storyline, the actors everything is top notch.)
8.Memories of Alhambra (if you are into science fiction, and in supernatural stuff this drama is for you.. Its a totally different genre from usual k dramas.. And Exo's chanyeol played a role too.)(if you love science fiction and romantic concept drmas watch 1. Are you human nd im not robot..
9.while you are sleeping (i loved it just loved it.. I watched it twice.loved the concepts..Ost's are beautiful.. One of the best ost album. Im a fan of lee jong-suk 😅 still i suffered from second lead syndrome😭)
10.W-two worlds(another lee jong-suk drama.. Its also a supernatural, thriller type drama... There's this comic which is written by the female leads father and somehow it became a portal btwn the real and comic world..it can be slightly confusing but its interesting..)
11.weight lifting fairy & strong women do bong soon (both are kind of similar tho strong women is hilarious i personally liked weight lifting fairy more..)
12.Hwarang (well this drama has half of SK's hot actors and idols what more do you want😂.lol jk the plot is really good you will get more into it in every ep aside what they did with Tae's character i loved the drama)
13.Sky Castle( totally different from usual k dramas.. If you are student i highly recommend it you will get it why when you watch it..)
14.crash landing on you (favrt 2020 drama.. One of My top favrt drama.just loved it)
15.kings eternal monarch ( after enlistment this was lee minho's 1st work was very excited for this... And after goblin go-eun 1st big break too... Gotta admit it wasnt up to the mark.. Loved the alternative universe concept but i didn't like the ending.. Over all its pretty good drama but the ending was unsatisfying)
16.Its Ok to Not be okay.. (oh i loveed it... The concept is so different from usual drmas.. Loved how they highlighted mental health...the chemistry btwn the actors to s soo good?? Not only just the main leads everyone in the drama did a such a great job.. Loved the sibling bonding part.. A must watch drama its gives a fresh air after watching so many romance based dramas.. )
17.itewon class & what's wrong with secretary kim ( i love how park seojoon is trying different geners.. What's wrong with secretary kim and iteawon class is pollar opposites but he portrayed both character effortlessly...)
18.Hotel del luna( IU's character was iconic... But i noticed iu really loves to hurtt us with these beautiful yet painful love stories... I wasnt sure about this drama took me a long time to give it a shot... But i got so hooked with it loved it...)
19.My id is gangnam beauty ( normally i always prefer mangas and animes over real adaptation... But this one changed my mind.. I loved the drama more than the manga it self.. There's some part where the director portrayed the moments more beautifully than webtoon.. )
20.if you are looking for something funny dramas watchs welcome to wiki both seasons & hospital playlist...
21.and if you are inyo dark stuff like into psychological thriller then watch "Stranger From Hell" will see a totally different character of lee dong wook.. I was creeped out with his character still found him interesting its messed up..)
Im currently watching flowers of evil its phycological thriller drma.. Lee joon gi playing a dark role is a sight to see😊...
There's other tons of good dramas i can't list them all..

I think quarantine has made people get into Kdramas more because I myself had watched my first Kdrama in 2018 since then till February this year I had only watched 3 dramas but after being quarantined I got obsessed with them by now I've watched around 80-90 Kdramas and there are still so many in my watchlist rn lol 😂 I should tell you the evil man in LOTBS is actually a terrific comedy actor you should watch the Reply series it is one of the best shows South Korea has ever made. i highly recommend "It's Okay to Not Be Okay" its a beautiful drama with an impactful storyline...the OSTS are so beautiful..after goblin & while you are sleeping its one of the few dramas where i fell in love with the the music so much...also the plot is different from usual k-dramas..its focus on mental health,how childhood trauma can affect one so much...also the the chemistry of main leads is just on fire...i started watching it for Kim Soohyun but fell in love with the actress Seo Yeji ..she is gorgeous and the character she played is so good,you will fall in love with it...after "crash landing on you" this was my 2nd favrt 2020 drama..

I think the saddest kdrama is uncontrollably fond. Kim woo bin is the main lead and he's such a cutie there. You should give it a shot if you want to have a good cry. Their love story is sadder than romeo and Juliet😂. I personally cried my eyes out throughouttttt the drama😅

- Scarlet Heart Ryeo (The only drama that I've watched thrice. I usually don't bother watching the same ones again because the suspense isn't there anymore but I'd kill watch such a drama again!)
- Oh My Ghost (You have to watch this! This is like, the most heart touching story ever!)
- My ID is Gangnam beauty. (Cha Eun Woo is the epitome of handsomeness. Besides that, the story line is good. I am not very much WITH plastic surgery but okay, I have no problem with how they represented it in the drama. I like it.)
- Scholar who walks the night. (I watched this for Lee Joon Gi but stayed for the villain😅)
- Uncontrollably Fond (The only reason I watched this drama is because of Kim Woo Bin but the storyline amazed me. You have to watch this!)

- Uncontrollably Fond. (This is an emotional drama. I would recommend to anyone who can handle too many emotions and heartbreaks)
- She was pretty. (This drama is actually so deep and meaningful. And the osts are superb!)
- The Gu Family Book. (An amazing fantasy historical drama. A must watch.)
- Oh my ghost. (Yes. This is it. This is emotion on a platter.)

- Mr. Sunshine. (It's a good drama but with too much politics and a lot of messed up concepts that are really hard to grasp for ME. Plus, the female lead had so many problems. But I really liked the Japanese samurai guy who's the male lead for warm and cozy.)
- The K2 (Goh Anna. No no no. She's not relatable to me. Although the story is nice I cannot LOVE that drama.)

To be honest North Korean people aren't bad, the only bad thing about that country is the dictator. I've watched UA-camr go there and say how the people are so sweet and kind hearted it's just that they are made to believe their leader is great since their birth due to which they have no awareness of how wrong the leader is and even if they know that man is bad they can't open up as they will be tortured in concentration camps or just get killed. But that country is rich with traditions too, I really hope one day that country is free from the clutches of the harsh ruler and the people have a live like South Korean people.
