Liking the vlog then a video after nice to see what goes into making the videos. It's nice that you shout out other people when you see a good idea most people wouldn't! I know it's winter but for summer chub I found that fishing crust on a pole with no float or weights against Reed beds is a good technique, a pole isn't very conducive to a roving style of fishing but it gives you very close control I had some 2to 3 pound fish using this technique it's quite fun as trotting on a pole! Cheers for the great vids
Thanks, hopefully the full vid will be out later today. That is a nice idea with the pole, I do like free lining bread but tend to do it on shallow waters sight fishing for chub.

What stretch of the drwent is this? Also what part of the foss do you think is optimal for chub? I’ve tried towThorpe but had no luck
Try a cooked prawn section or sliver of raw steak
Yes I have used prawn before, mainly for perch. I would try steak but I think it would end up as dinner before it made it to the bank!
