For Father's Day this last June, I made 41 of these & put a little candy pun into each. One for each year my dad has been a father. He loved it! THANKS! I also used the same technique on a plastic placemat from the dollar store. I cut it in half, scored the folds, used super glue, and glued a dot of velcro to the front to secure it. P.S. a couple stickers, stuck half to the box & half to each other make a great handle for easy opening.
After searching the stores for the right size gift box, I used your wonderful tutorial to make a darling one on the first try. Thanks so much! I know I will be making lots of boxes for special home made items. Many thanks for a great idea as well as a simple, direct and clear tutorial.

Thanks a lot for this, got a necklace as a gift for someone that was just in a zip locked bag, followed this and made a nice little box from Christmas patterned thin card and tissue paper and it looks great. A super easy to follow video well done. :)

This was surprisingly easy to make. I saw so many videos using a scoreboard and what not and got very intimidated. But this is really really really really really really really really really really really easy and it comes together like magic

This works pretty well with poster paper and i managed to make a deck box for my YuGiOh cards. I used the same method and i stuck a YuGiOh logo on the top with some more glue. This is actually a pretty good craft for storage, gifts, rings or whatever you want to put in it. Nice video, Dave!

I want to make a box to gift a CGC comic but can’t find the exact measurements in any store so I decided to make my own box 😃 I think this is the simplest design using a recycled cardboard box and maybe some bubble wrap. Since I might need to ship it out due to restricted traveling. Thank you for sharing!!!

This is an awesome box and easy to do! I like the colored scrapbook paper you used, but since this box is part of a gift to children's mom, I am going to have them color the outside of the box before it gets folded.
Hi Dave, if you read this and maybe respond that's great! :D I like these kind of instructional videos of how to make something, but I do wish you would do the occasional life hack as well. I know it's tough to come up with new ideas for actual hacks, because some your most classic videos (such as how to fold a shirt in 2 seconds) are very unique. What I'm saying is whilst videos like this one are cool in their own way, it would be nice to see some life hacks that help me in my day to day life. Whatever you do though, just know that there are people who enjoy your stuff and we think you have great ideas! Stay classy Dave

WOW i am impressed! i make fake geode earrings and pendants and they are so pretty i felt they deserve to be displayed in something nicer than on a business card on a peg board lol. these would be perfact when i lay a piece of quilt batting in the bottom. Oh, by the way, much easier than all those tiny fancy Origami boxes that take 4 ever to make. thank you for sharing this video!
