I know I missed my calling to do this so I must live vicariously through you. It is relaxing and as you narrate I have no worries thank you for taking care of the lovely cows and bulls the way you do!
My great-grandfather was born in County Clair in 1877, came to the US in 1904. He could have never imagined that in 2021 his descendant would be watching Irish lads in Ireland trimming cow hooves....lol. Technology is wonderful.
Your Knife work in the shaping of the cows hooves and removing the loose horn to get to the hear of the matter is beautiful. Your hands are strong and steady. You show much confidence and it shows in your videos of what you are wanting to accomplish to make the hooves balanced and in tending to problems. Love seeing the cows being cared for and the results of your work. Thank you.
You 2 are the happiest guys every day you both have a smile 😊 love to hear you talk.love you accent my granddaughter does to. Your work is good. I like the way you explain what you are doing. My grandpa work on farm had lots of cows.God bless you both and your family .
Thank you so much for the videos. Also thank you for speaking slower so us yanks can understand every word spoken. I know it is a bother to you but I for one really appreciate it.
And Nate I am one of those old southern U.S. gals so we e speak slower and have and accent you yanks say you can’t understand at times as we use those sayings like “ in the holler, over yonder, just a wee piece ‘round the bend” my granny was Irish and Scottish so I love his accent!👍
Love the videos when you talk slower. I am originally from NC and live in NC and just like some people can't understand the Southern accent I sometimes have to rewind to hear what you say 2x's. Anyway, I like the videos you can hear the hoove trim. After a long day, it is relaxing. Ty

Tom, I was leave at least 15-30 minutes early, so if something goes wrong. I’ll still arrive on time.
Wouldn't it be a lot easier and keep your knives sharper if you used the grinder first, as they do in the Dutch method
The dutch method doesn't dictate which instruments are used, just which steps you use to trim the hooves.
