Hi Guys,
In this Swing Trading Strategies video, I show how to use RSI Indicator to trade RSI Hidden Bullish Divergence. RSI Hidden Bullish Divergence occurs when RSI Indicator forms lower low whereas Price forms higher low. This is indicative of strong accumulation in stock market and this signal should not be ignored.
RSI Bullish Divergence has lower success rate as it is a counter trend strategy whereas RSI Hidden Bullish Divergence has a higher success rate as it is a Trend continuation strategy.
I have taken up example on how to identify high probability RSI Hidden Bullish Divergence trades and have shown how to enter and exit and manage risk in this RSI Indicator Trading Strategy.

Thanks for your valuable advice, to trade when RSI is at 30 - 34. The entry procedure what you explained is good.
Small correction to be done @ 2:43 point # 3. "Price forms a Higher Low whereas RSI forms a Lower low".
I am practising this, as well as bearish hidden (reverse) divergence in my analysis. I may learnt some more if you covered the bearish hidden divergence along with this.

Sir, strength of divergence formation can be determined by observing the no of time bars that have elapsed between RSI peaks and troughs that are creating divergence. Please make a video on how measure these no of bars??
Along with this, you can also assess strength with number of wide range candles between peaks.

I wish I knew this earlier,but sir why does the normal divergence doesn't work? The bullish divergence in bear run(end) is a good one but how do we know that there is a reversal happenings? Although its better not to choose too lower time frames.

Curious case studies:
Classical books on technical analysis talk about “V” bottom reversals. But they are clueless about how to spot and take advantage of them. Now hidden bullish divergence beautifully explained by Raunak gives much more insight. A couple of them:
1. NIIT Technologies had formed a twin bearish divergence (BeD) both on Daily and Weekly charts by the third week of July’19. It was in consolidation for over a month and suddenly drooped from 24th July. It loses 11% in 5 trading days and rested for a few days on the monthly trendline. Then it bounced back faster than it fell. In 16 trading days giving a whopping gain of 27%! It is a typical “V” bottom recovery.
How did the miracle happen?! I wondered until I saw this video. There was a perfect hidden bullish divergence on RSI by the first week of Aug on the Weekly chart like a net underneath. This dramatic gain was waiting in the wings to happen if only closely tracked the event.
2. BPCL fell after a twin BeD on Weekly chart by the first week of June. The fall was not as steep as that of NIIT Technologies, yet it lost 24% by the third week of Aug. it was groping for the bottom and it found in a twin Hidden BuD on the weekly chart (between Feb’19 and Aug’19). The bounce has been dramatic. It gathered 22% in just 9 trading days and still counting….
It, therefore, seems that most of the "V" bottom recoveries can be traced to the formation of the hidden bullish divergences on higher time frames....
Interesting observation Dinesh. I see you are using divergences more on higher time frame chart.
This could be used for a sustainable investment strategy for blue chip companies. I will look into this in detail.

On 11/2/2020 for godrejcp, I am seeing hidden bull divergence on daily (rsi at 25, earlier pivot at 572) and convergence on weekly tf. The price is still 20 rs from bull channel support (weekly). How would u trade? enter longs based on hidden bull divergence on daily tf or wait for hidden bull divergence to form on weekly tf? "Note": This is not a trade related question. hi sir... had a query... If i trade hidden bullish divergence on a 1 hour time frame... What is the preferred value of the 2nd dip on the RSI indicator that can validate the divergence signal. Like u mentioned for the daily time frame, it should be between 30 to 35... what can be considered to be a good range on the 60 minutes time frame?

If there is a down trend and we spot a bullish hidden divergence.. Then what would be the possible outcome..
It might work. But implications of same might be limited.
Hidden Bullish Divergence (HBuD) on Daily charts is a sign of short-term bullish move ahead lasting for few days or weeks.
HBuD on Weekly charts is a sign of medium-term bullish move ahead lasting for few weeks or months.
HBuD on Monthly charts is a sign of long-term term bullish move ahead lasting for a few months or years.
See some of the iconic wealth creators and trendsetters of the past decade. All of these trends can be actually traced to twin HBuD (in both RSI and MACD) on Monthly Charts, heralding the beginning of magnificent trends. Those trending periods gave countless opportunities for swing trades and position trades (Me, not one of them, not knowing the power of technical analysis!)
1. HBuD in BPCL formed between June 2008 and Aug 2013 - the uptrend that followed lasted up to Oct 2017. The stock returned 680% in these 48 months period.
2. HBuD in Biocon formed between Jan 2008 and May 2012 - -the uptrend that followed lasted up to Sep 2018. The stock returned 1,000% in these 65 months period.
3. HBuD in Ashok Leyland formed between Nov 2008 and Aug 2013 - the uptrend that followed lasted up to May 2016. The stock returned 1,000% in these 30 months.
4. HBuD in HPCL formed between June 2008 and Aug 2013 - - the uptrend that followed lasted up to Aug 2017. The stock returned 1,600% in these 48 months period.
5. HBuD in Aurobindo Pharma formed between Jan 2008 and Dec 2011 - -the uptrend that followed lasted up to Dec 2015. The stock returned 2,160% in these 48 months period.

If I may add, Stock selection is the key. Cannot blindly apply this on any stocks.

Currently its much more likely that you will find Standard Bullish Divergence trades.
the RSI Divergence forming below 30-35 is kind of contradicting with RSI Range shift concept. By, what I read range shifts towards bearish side when RSI turns below 40 level. So can you (Raunak) explain this further.
