God loving me was proven at my last suicidal attempt, the time I fell asleep at the wheel with two children in the car as I fled an abusive husband (ex now), and the time He said my name twice in the middle of the night when no one else was around. After a flesh-driven first 20 years of my life, I found that Jesus is the only fulfillment of purpose. “How He Loves” was the first song that I ever truly worshipped. I found this cover a few days ago, and I can’t listen to it without crying. What a beautiful reminder. How merciful is our God? What length would he not go to chase us down. Oh how he loves us!

I needed encouragement today. I was playing gospel while working and this came on. I wouldn't have selected it because it was played at my daughter's funeral.
