Lol interesting how different ppl’s tastes and ears are. I don’t care much for this performance/rendition. This is one of my fav songs ever. I’ve many times heard it done very well. This version has the gospel component and soul removed and it’s not because of the colors of the ppl singing it -it sounds like a school choir at a competition or recital. Their harmony is fine but I didn’t feel anything or hear dynamics -it was boring and sung calculated to me.

@pete Most races of people created different styles of music. There is eastern music(asian), hispanic music, nigerian music, etc. This is black gospel music. You can appreciate it and enjoy it no matter what race you are. The problem is when some races steal it and make money off of it and don't acknowledge where it came from.

Trey, you are truly anointed and so are each and every one of these singers. The harmony is on point. Now, with that said, I LOVE to sing, but cannot hold a note to save my life (my dogs used to howl over my singing to the point where they were louder than me and they would drown me out). Can my voice be saved. Just a Christian who loves to sing, but can't. Smile.
its not about the way it comes out its about the message and the feeling that is being sung and felt
yes, you can learn to sing! you can train yourself to reproduce the sounds you hear so that you can sing in tune. persistence, dedication, & determination will pay off. if you cannot find a music teacher willing to invest the time in you, there are many youtube channels that can help. you may be able to enlist the help of a friend, or a church musician or choir member, to assist you with live feedback - 'sing this note, a little higher, a little higher, yes that's it.' by the way, your dogs may have been responding to your enthusiasm, expressing their enjoyment, not displeasure.

This song really ministers to me. My mother had a lot of mental health issues. Always treating herself lowly and w disregard as she had been abused all of her life. When she came to Christ, her new identity was still being worked out... she died a few years ago and I always see her in the spirit, wearing a crown in all her majesty that the LORD bestowed upon her as she entered the celestial courts.
