As I got older I really started to connect with Link in this moment. Once I started getting into being a pilot and making friends with other pilots the inevitable happened with fatal accidents. Though flying is incredibly safe, accidents happen. I've lost many friends over the last decade since I made my first pilot friend and became one myself. My heart is full of memories of laughter and fun with those men and women. Their loss breaks my heart every time though as Sheik said I remind myself of this: "How would they feel seeing me unhappy like this?" They would rather I continue living my life to the fullest. To spread the joy and happiness that comes with the freedom of flight. One day we'll all be reunited but until then I also remember Saria's words: "Home is never far away when you have happy memories" Returning to the skies I return home in two ways, in one to the place we all felt at home and in the other way to the happy memories made in the skies with them. The silly radio calls, hand signals and just plain shenanigans that I'll never forget and will always make me smile. Thanks MajorLink
"I... Thank you for rescuing me. Ganondorf's power has grown to terrible levels over these last 7 years. As the Hero of Time, you must move forward. As a sage, I must also accept this. You are not the reckless little boy I once knew back in Kokiri Forest. You're a grown man... as well as a Hylian. I could tell. You were always different from the rest of the Kokiri, but I was a friend when no one else was. I always had your back, and today you had mine. Keep going Link. Five more sages remain in temples, and the last will reveal herself when the time comes. You will always be with me, Link." *LIGHT FADES* "Saria... Thanks."
I love how you make Link feel so human. I really do like it when Link is more expressive and you have nailed that down. Keep up amazing work like always. Also OoT anime/movie or naw lol
This really is the biggest missed opportunity of the Zelda games. The silent protagonist helps to project too but there is alot of missed potential for developing Link, even a customized one. I hope one day we can have a more Commander Shepard or Joker style Link. Still able to project onto but is still a believable character and not a puppet.
@@INFERNO95 I mean if people are that stubborn, the Zelda team should just give players the option to choose a silent or voiced Link. I mean there are plenty of choices still not given to us players yet: basic button mapping, gender selection (Pokemon has done this ages ago, what is taking LoZ so long), a voiceless option for every character (for purists; not me), etc. It's actually kinda surprising how innovative BotW was to the Zelda series but how some basic functions haven't been thought of yet. They seem like a lot of unnecessary fluff for a Zelda game at first, but you only start to see that they are missing when you play other similar games.
@@CJSai64 I don't want voiced Link (a learnt lesson from the LoZ anime) OR ANY FEMALE Link/Linkle (and more trap Link porns? No, thank you) but more a expressive Link? Yes. (The expressive-less BOTW Link makes me laugh many times during the cut scene, it supposes to be sad.)
@@j.d.4241 There is no Zelda anime. Excuuuuse me! We need female Link, screw your closeminded opinion based on strange priorities about an internet occurence that happens anyway with ANYTHING to the point that the rule named for it, is an entire website. Like, wow. Let's not let female Zelda players (of which there is countless) project with a female version of Link, like they've had with Shepard, Pokemon Trainers, and Fire Emblem protags. Let's NOT allow for refreshing experiences. After all, the fact that Link is a boy has always been plot relevant, right? No, of course not. Zelda games have never even had romances w/ Link, and if you think that it mattered that he was a guy just because female characters hit on him, then that just says more about you. Zelda is such a malleable series (where canon hardly matters anymore) and Link is very representative of that. If he's gonna keep being mute, he might as well have basic customization ala Pokemon and Fire Emblem. Options in an RPG make them funner, every time.
Letting go of the past is hard especially with happy memories you want to relive. However you must let go to see the future. People who have had hard times in their lives always want to go back in time to be happy again. Leaving the memory in the past can help you see a brighter path to happiness. This video demomstrates that flawlessly.
I got teary eyed when Link was looking over that stump. Those were his easy days for him as a little innocent child. And then when Sheik said to Link, "How would she feel seeing you unhappy like this?" That was heartbreaking. Thank you for another amazing animation❤
worse when you recall that he immediately went to find and eventually lose Navi in another parallel universe; even more so if you believe that knowing who and what he was in the future, Link could barely fit back in with the Kokiri, let alone with other Hylians outside the forest. he was out of place both within the society he grew up with and the society that existed beyond it.
When you remember the first time you played this series and fell madly in love with it and it brings back nostalgia... Good and sad times....😣😭 R.I.P good times.
Dude I love how little to no music affects literally like the whole episode. I also love how sheik is telling Link advice to move on and think about his feelings.
I was literally crying with joy. It's so sad, so powerful, so emotional, you definitely did a fantastic job! Your videos feel more realistic, these kinds of events in my opinion should have been shown in the game. Would have added more character, and more depth to the story. Good job 🙂
Your animation has seriously improved so much even since Twilights Shadow it has gotten so good. Your expressions are on point, and the animation is just so beautiful.
Rick James That comment was not relevant and frankly it was very rude, especially coming from someone without a profile pic at all. Maybe I just like Zelda, and you can keep your opinion to yourself.
The hero of time is simply proof that no one should ever wish to be a hero, the burden on your shoulders, knowing everyone is counting on you to succeed, not having the option of failing and most of all, the several loved ones/friends the hero will inevitably lose
OOT brought me and my brother together for years. I always watched him play it. Now he's just a shadow of who he once was. He is schizophrenic. Makes me cry, never forget the past. It helps you keep moving forward.❤
Hey another cool video!!! *Saw sheik and said “you’re slow”* Dangit I forgot about that at first in the temple of time Sheik said “much faster than before”.... Your animations are getting better Major Link I hope you do more videos and we will support you!
This part of the game was always super memorable to me and you just made it a million times better. Your Zelda animations are by far the best and Nintendo needs to hire you lol. Everything was perfect, Shiek's dialogue, Link's facial expressions and body language, and the bits with Young Link were fantastic! Keep it up MajorLink, we love you!
Another great masterpiece, Major Link! Link really missed Saria, and Sheik knew how he felt. Link's flashbacks of him and Saria playing together were super cute, and the scene where Link and Sheik played the Minuet of the Forest was just gorgeous! Keep up the good work! 👸💗💟🌹💐🌸🎀🐱🦄🍰
I love Saria so much and this animation makes me feel so many things, I wish more people would do things with Saria and I hope you keep doing this for a long time.
Your gift of cinematography is appreciated. I love how Link sees the spot where Saria sat and remembers their last meeting seven years ago when Link learned her song. It's also a bit tragic because, from Link's perspective, he saw Saria a little while ago before being put to sleep for seven years. I love how you portrayed Sheik as a warrior similar to the artwork of the game rather than a character who pops in and out of the scene. Sheik testing Link by attacking him is a good way to train Link now that he is an adult. Despite her harshness, Sheik still offers Link some council. From the way Link smiles, he got back the determination to fight. The animation for Link and Sheik playing their instruments was great. I never saw Link use his fingers in the ocarina until now. I look forward to all of the Sheik encounters.
I have chills and butterflies. Absolutely stunning work. I love the detail put into the expressions, sound, and small movements. You really gave Link extra character which I love. Keep up the awesome work. ~Joslyn
This is such a beautiful reimagining of that scene. I'm late to the zelda fandom and haven't played oot myself but i've seen the OG scene this came from and wow... this short fills in so many holes - very cinematic. i adore it so much, thank you
i seen the notification and i was like 'i'm ready for more heartbreak' and you delievered. major link, the real mvp, always delivering quality Zelda content. can't wait to see what you'll give us next! keep working hard :^D
Sariah is my favorite character. So little screen time. But you couldn't do a thing without her in the first place. I cried a bit. Not gonna lie. Amazing as always Major
I'd like to think Link was stuck behind the Door of Time when he returned to his child self at the end of the game. He pulls out Saria's ocarina and finds that playing Minuet of Forest teleported him to her favourite tree stump. She was still a sage after all. Link told her about everything that had happened and they parted ways again for Link to speak with Darunia, King Zora and Zelda about Ganondorf before he ever arrives, but not before playing music together long into the night. Losing your best friend is indeed like looking at a tree stump; you can see the rings of their life up until the point it was cruelly cut away, but as Shiek reminded Link, their spirit will always be within you.
The first half of this really made me tear up. I always thought Saria and Link's friendship was such an emotional part of the game. :) Thanks for making this!
I love how amazing your animations are! It’s a really good look at the characters and how they act! Plus, I loved how it feels like and almost remaster of the original games scene but with more story behind Link.
I would love to see this in a movie, like all the scenes you made and more wrapped up in one video. That would be amazing. Even the weird scenes; like the owl babbling, or coming across an enemy, opening the mini-boss weapon chest, any fighting scene, you die and fairy brings you back to life. All the struggles we all go through and relate on. For example, trying to jump on a ledge three times (or more) in a row and falling all of those times (usually off of high places for me cause that's where my clumsiness really starts to kick in). Whether it's a movie or just a few clips here and there, I'd be happy either way. So _thank you_ for making these videos.
This is absolutely amazing and heart-wrenching to watch. Saria was always one of the characters I looked forward to seeing the most in that game and when I returned to the forest to awaken the Sage I remembered feeling so many emotions on the run up to that special spot. Love the animation and how expressive Link is. Now I’m going to take some time to watch more of your works.
This is an emotional video for me. The day I saw it my friend told me that he and a girl who I have loved for 3 years, are now a couple. That day I felt like Link, trying to move forward with my life, to let go someone I cared about. Luck was by myside, and I found out that it was just a cruel April fools joke. Me and her are now together for 4 months. But I will never forget that feeling, and how much influence this video had on me. Thank you, MajorLink!
These animations make me so emotional. I love them, and it really gives me a deeper love and understanding for Link, especially in ocarina of time and majoras mask.
Fantastic! It's awesome how you add emotion to these scenes, like seriously Nintendo should hire you! The detail of Sheik's facial expression at 4:14 really got to me too!

Don't know how I got here, but man this is an amazing video. The Legend of Zelda is my favorite gaming franchise. This made my eyes water up, cause this really resonates with me. Keep making more of these amazing projects, seriously this is a masterpiece. I bought this game the first day it came out, & everyone was in line grow ups, college students, kids, all creeds, races, etc. Only Mario I seen have that same affect in the gaming world. Thanks for this gift :)
Wow. Just wow. Amazing, I never thought that someone could make such an amazing animation. I'm sure that a large portion of people who grew up playing zelda felt this in their heart's as we are all grown now, however if you did not play the game as a child it still conveys a message. I loved it, made me cry and think about my past as well.
A song is a memory that plays in your head constantly, and when you listen closely, everything comes flooding back. I remember when I played OOT on my 3ds for the first time. I played the original, and the good memories and soundtrack made me feel nostalgic. OOT was a masterpiece... Truly a split in the multiverse, and a Link to the past...
How could nearly 400 people dislike this? It was beautiful. I may be a year late but you've got a new subscriber just because I love this so much. That game was the game that turned me into a gamer and also was the beginning of my lifelong love for fantasy adventure rpg games. I just recently bought a nintendo 2ds xl specifically for that game and Majoras Mask just so I could have them again. Thank you for making this.
I think it is something like waking up... something we all experience eventually... It all depends if we let it touch our emotions. I returned to a place of my childhood in a city I no longer live in. This video has a lot of that emotion. You remember things and it brings you back.
These animations give these characters so much more life/dimension. The original games gave the same subtext, but with this style of animation, the facial expressions, and the way that they move, it really gives it just so much more emotion. As a newfound fan of these videos, I will keep wishing for their continued success.

"Home is never far away when you have happy memories"
Returning to the skies I return home in two ways, in one to the place we all felt at home and in the other way to the happy memories made in the skies with them.
You will always be with me, Link."
*LIGHT FADES*
"Saria...
CJSai#64 Nintendo need to do more with link character in future games. This silence hero thing is not helping him, instead it only holding him back.
I wish I could remember having happy moments easily FeelsBadMan

I got teary eyed when Link was looking over that stump. Those were his easy days for him as a little innocent child. And then when Sheik said to Link, "How would she feel seeing you unhappy like this?" That was heartbreaking. Thank you for another amazing animation❤
He was suspended for 7 years so he litteraly remembers it like it was yesterday
Sheik is Zelda rite
worse when you recall that he immediately went to find and eventually lose Navi in another parallel universe; even more so if you believe that knowing who and what he was in the future, Link could barely fit back in with the Kokiri, let alone with other Hylians outside the forest. he was out of place both within the society he grew up with and the society that existed beyond it.
As a hardcore zelda fan it is always fun seeing your work. Thank you @MajorLink
A little ways through my screen got blurry, and I thought it was the quality. Nope, it was just a grown man's tears.

When you remember the first time you played this series and fell madly in love with it and it brings back nostalgia...
Good and sad times....😣😭 R.I.P good times.
A Nintendo 64 is never far away when you have happy memories...
Good job 🙂
When young link ran past my heart broke 😿😿

Dude this was incredible! You keep getting better and better with your storytelling ! Can’t wait for the next one ❤️
Your animation has seriously improved so much even since Twilights Shadow it has gotten so good. Your expressions are on point, and the animation is just so beautiful.
You haven't seen every other animation
Like dragon ball evolution lol

if only you were beautiful so you would put your face as ur profile pic
Rick James That comment was not relevant and frankly it was very rude, especially coming from someone without a profile pic at all. Maybe I just like Zelda, and you can keep your opinion to yourself.
I seriously need an OoT Time movie...or remaster or something w the deep and emotional story driven cut scenes! Another job well done Major Link! 😭💯👌

Literally made my eyes water, you almost got me. Amazing stuff keep it up, this kind of content is just so pure and makes me love LoZ over and over ❤️
This is so sweet! I especially love the small details added, like how Link's ears twitch at 2:12 when Sheik hops down.
That's s sad. I hope he's doing okay, sending him my best wishes
There is treatment for that love. I hope he is doing better and you and him can play this still.

Guau!
La verdad no pensé que otra persona sintiera lo mismo que yo al haber jugado Zelda.
Y más en una animación.
Me encontré una joya!! 💞💞
Another great masterpiece, Major Link! Link really missed Saria, and Sheik knew how he felt. Link's flashbacks of him and Saria playing together were super cute, and the scene where Link and Sheik played the Minuet of the Forest was just gorgeous! Keep up the good work! 👸💗💟🌹💐🌸🎀🐱🦄🍰

That ending was perfect. I absolutely loved the shot of him shooting the Hookshot at the camera
Welp, another MajorLink video, another instant like. Really appreciate the work you put into these
I have chills and butterflies. Absolutely stunning work. I love the detail put into the expressions, sound, and small movements. You really gave Link extra character which I love. Keep up the awesome work.

Thanks majorlink for all these Zelda vids man. I’m seriously in love with them
I love how amazing your animations are!

*WELL EXCUSE ME PRINCESS!!! I'm sorry that your crush has feeling for another girl.*

How could nearly 400 people dislike this? It was beautiful. I may be a year late but you've got a new subscriber just because I love this so much.
I just recently finished ocarina of time and that was emotional, but this... just... was amazing.
Wow such an beautiful graphics for this video and i started to cry over this
Good job for making this video MajorLink
I'd like to see an emotional animation where Link awake Saria as a Sage.
These animations give these characters so much more life/dimension. The original games gave the same subtext, but with this style of animation, the facial expressions, and the way that they move, it really gives it just so much more emotion. As a newfound fan of these videos, I will keep wishing for their continued success.
This was amazing. Very sad but it captured his feeling's at those moments. I loved it. And It honestly almost made me cry.
