I actually recommend everyone trying out a pre prom makeup just to ensure that they can trust themselves or their mua to do exactly what they want and that they'll be comfortable. For junior prom I ended up having makeup that was too much and cakey for my preference and it didn't go great with my dress even though I was given what I asked for so heads up everyone
