    Are you recommending reading books written in Fusha? Or are there books written using "Ammiye"?

      Most of these books are in fus-Ha but there are books and stories written in dialect. I’m actually working on a short stories book and hopefully to have it done soon. Thanks

    Great lesson, thank you. And good to hear you are on the mend. One question for you: you have used اللي a couple of times in this lesson and I was hitherto unaware of this. Does it have the same meaning as يلي and are the two terms more or less interchangeable? Thanks

      Thanks Ed, yes, it’s the same but pronounced differently and can be absolutely used on the same meaning

    How do you know when to pronounce the ق as a hamza and when to pronounce it normally? Is it just something you pick up from listening to speech over time or is there a “rule”?
