These are muscle memory sketches. Meaning, not much thought into the design because it's been done MANY TIMES before. I'm sure he's probably done sketches like these 1,000 time before in his car filled sketchbooks. So, don't be so in "AW!" But take note that it's NOT TALENT but the CONSTANT PRACTICE that over time builds and makes you HIGHLY SKILLED at the craft.
Constant practice doesn't make perfect. Perfect practice makes perfect. You can draw 1000 cars and still struggle because you dont know why your cars look wrong. If you dont practice perfect, your muscle memory after doing those 1000 sketches will not magically make you draw cars correctly. This man was taught how to draw cars correctly so his knowledge is just as powerful as his muscle memory. He still has to think ahead while he's drawing and still has to apply the fundamentals. The car sketches aren't just magically appearing because of muscle memory alone.
