“We’re not here to f**k spiders” is an all time great from Australia. It roughly means let’s not waste time when there important things to do.

    1) I’d rather shit in my hands and clap.
A - I’d prefer not to do what you’re asking. I perceive it will get messy, sorry.
    2) I’d rather suck shit through a tramps sock.
A - the food/drink you are offering appears disgusting to me. I won’t be eating/drinking it, sorry.

A friend of mine from a foreign land asked me, “What does 3 or 4 sheets to the wind mean?”. I felt like it means you are really wasted or intoxicated, and I wasn’t far off because I discovered it referred to when a sailing ship loses control of most or all of its’ sails usually do to storms and is now directionless and/or traveling in a chaotic manner, like being drunk.

    I've made my own idiom:
"Give a man a shovel, and he'll dig his own grave" or simply "give a man a shovel"
Its hard to put into words the exact usage of it, but I say this when someone says something that they then have to fumble their way out of, and they just keep making it worse.
