It's beautifully amazing....In many countries spanning the globe, "this"... A coming together of extremely skilled artisans in a shared discipline.....Awesome!!!
Thank you for giving the pieces you focused on time instead of zooming off to the next with the worst camera work ever. (Most vids like this do that). But most importantly, thank you for not having annoying music that we usually all have to suffer through just to look at someone’s amazing work.
Thanks for posting that , considering the blue lighting in the room and its deep shadow area's i have wondered since they moved to Sandown why they place traders along the windows who then stack stuff up and block out even much of the natural light , so displays of models in comp and their own products have even less light on them , would it not be better to put traders in the centre of the room and have walkways around window area's so the light is behind people viewing the models , just a humble question, not meaning to be super critical of a wonderfully organised event !
I did the videos with my iPhone and on some of the models I did have backlight issues. I had bigger issues with the natural light than I did with the internal lighting. I have no idea what their thought processes were with this setup but it did make more sense to have all the displays in the centre considering there was quite a large amount of entries. I just did the best I could with what I had. Thanks for watching Norman.
@@ScaleModelGeek I build for enjoyment, building for competition is completely different and also subjective by who is judging on the day.. I know my work is good enough for film and television, but competition is completely different.
Nice video. Have not checked out your channel to see if you have a particular focus, like sci-fi, tanks, etc. However, this video is highly skewed toward sci-fi and fantasy in the first half, then military land vehicles. There is a smattering of other things throughout. But it’s disappointing to see very few planes and I think only one single jet fighter towards the end. Not much in the way of Australian Defence Force. Not many cars, navy ships. Great footage though. I love all the stuff shown. Just missed seeing some Hornets and other fighters.
@@ScaleModelGeek thanks. Went to check out the channel. No problem having that focus. I love that stuff too so I still loved the video. Subscribing now too
I really enjoyed the Expo after not having been to one for over 10 years. Did you have a favorite in the video?
Daaaamn, that North Cormorant Oil Rig! Pretty nice job, considering the base kit is so underdetailed. Absolutely wonderful!
@@andersdenkend The amount of detail was quite amazing.

I love the variety of genres that the community of modelers have. Thanks for watching
Thank you for filming and posting this. Beautiful.
Thanks Matt.

Thanks
Woooooww....that's maravillously. Congratulations. Thank you very much.😉👍
Thanks
oh my! that motion blurred death star base on the TIE. **chef's kiss**
It is nice and I didn't even notice it till I was editing the video.
Some great inspiration here. Thanks for taking the time to put the video together.
Thanks for watching
Some very amazingly talented modelers over in the "down under". Cheers from the U.S. Thank you for sharing this video.
There were so many amazing entries and unfortunately I just couldn't showcase all of them.

Glad you liked it. I just did this on my iPhone so next year I'll be more aware of what to expect and hopefully do an even better job of it.
Lots of great models and talent there.
There was. It was great to get to an Model Expo again with like minded peeps. Thanks for watching
How good is that Star Wars Tie Interceptor at 2:20 mins with the base showing the sensation of speed! Not sure whether it is the Bandai or Revell kit?
I didn't even notice that till you mentioned it. It's actually a great idea
Enjoyed........... 👍🙂
Thanks for watching
@@ScaleModelGeek 👍👍
Thanks for showing me what I missed. I'll do my best to get to the next expo
I'm looking forward to the next one. I might even enter the comp.
@@ScaleModelGeek that would be lovely to see

@@ScaleModelGeek Im just grateful you filmed what you did and its a great job too considering the variable lighting , so thanks again mate !
@@normanlong2191 Next year I'll be a bit more prepared
Thank you for taking some video of my Battlestar Diorama and BTTF Delorean.
My pleasure and the Viper diorama was very cool
@@ScaleModelGeek Thank you, Sadly no cigar, but there are people out there with very MAD skills, judging is very subjective in nature.
@@fredflintstone7061 There's always next year. I'll probably enter something

I saw your battlestar dio, it was great, tonnes of detail and effort... My mate rated it as his favourite at the show! Pity he wasn't a judge!
