I find the discussion about "hidden" content in RDR2 if you don't do things as instructed interesting, because I always got the sense that the game doesn't let you experiment too much. 2 times out of 3 when you try to be clever with your approach what happens is a mission failure and a message that you need to follow the intended path. After the spit in the form of remasters, I personally do not take seriously every word of the next pseudo-insider, because it is all dust in the eyes, and nothing more... In general, Roskstar and Take Two have become greedy and insolent from their impunity, it is a pity that no one can take these goats by the ass...
The definitive edition wasn’t even handled by rockstar games themselves, it was done by Grove Street Games, a mobile game company. The truth of the matter is, when it comes to actually making games, rockstar is the best in the business. You can cry all you want about their greedy business practices and crunch culture and whatever else, but at the end of the day, no other game developer makes games like rockstar. Red dead redemption 2 is eight years old and still easily beats any AAA game that has come out since. The quality of their games is unmatched and that’s why they’re best in the industry.
@@rocketknoxler6516 Giving your games to a dubious company several times and then claiming that it is not their fault - it is so modern... Many sensible people believe that it is the fault of both Rockstar and the Take Two due to the negligence of the choice of who will make these remasters, it was a slap in the face to all fans of the good old and beloved games... And these fairy tales like they are not guilty and so on - these are excuses for kindergarten... Now they are trying to come out white and fluffy against the background of this announcement of GTA6, and they think that everyone will forget this slap - they are wrong, and who is crying and who is sucking for the visuals with rumors about the next game progress, to each his own... Personally, I am not whining, I am expressing my opinion...

it's a skill issue if you dont park your vehicle where the game tells you to park
44:29 At this point, this is what makes me prefer good & fun games to good graphics. The irony was that it was a rockstar game, gta 5 with its focus on graphics, and the gameplay was incredibly boring
bros just straight up yapping lmao, GTA never had the best graphics when it comes out, and the gameplay is pretty engaging except IV unlike those ubisoft soulless flop
@LUXXEN-yx9hv Sorry, gta 5 is like a ubisoft game full of downgrade, and you don't get what I'm talking about. For GTA 4, I'm sure you just see it because of the gameplay is bad. In fact, the reality is not, even exceeding the GTA 5, which is 5 really garbage and boring
@@Blckzero1-000 “downgrade” while GTA5 literally improved everything except physics, maybe just actually play some games instead of watching biased videos🤣 In gta4, there is literally no side activities, and missions are "go to A, kill B“, no tanks no jets, whole game is loved only for its gritty atmosphere, very overrated
@LUXXEN-yx9hv I've played all the gta, and gta 5 is the most trashy game made by the Rockstar. For side activities, gta 5 was less than gta 4. And it's funny you say "physics" where the gta 5 is even more downgrade than gta 4, you're blinded
@@LUXXEN-yx9hv And you said "overrated"? That call was given more precisely to that trashy gta 5
Nice
C# for mission scripting. Interesting!
rockstar make very detailed games and mostly good writing and lore but their games are clunky as fuck especially when you're roleplaying an action hero the character you control moves like an old man with cinder blocks around his ankles, controls feel a whole second delayed to what is happening on the screen, when you shoot enemies they ragdoll behind cover and have to wait a whole 10 seconds for them to get back up only to shoot them again and have them fall behind cover and wait again, the way they make their games it is literally designed to waste your time and they're very blunt and pretentious about it in the sense of hey we put alot of effort into these animations so we're going to make you watch and wait through every single animation we coded because we love ourselves so much and you peasant players should get on your knees and kiss our feet

Hinchcliffe......... hmm 🤔 funny how that's coming out now.............
GTA online ruined gta series
nope
Skill issue
Disagree, GTA Online and the modding scene have kept GTA relevant and popular to this day.
oppressor and fantasy shit ruined gta online, it could've been so much more pleassurable. Lots of vehicles unused, for instance the military ones, because of the abundance of auto-lock on explosive vehicles. gta online is a masterpiece, with the small annoying elements that are ruining it.

I don’t believe this guy for some reason
This guy had a chance to ask good and important questions and fucked it up. Very disappointed. Talking about shitty vr games and wating time on stupid stuff instead of asking about Gta v or shooting your shot and asking about vi.
I understand that he agreed to this interview to promote the shitty vr game he's doing but come on.. Sure he's not gonna break the NDA with Rockstar but so many good question could've been asked. Shame.
LOL I have seen the leaked gta 5 source, it's not c#, and you do not run c# on consoles either. it's all c and c++ and the scripting is their own c++ script they came up using pre-compiler magic
They use all three, look at their job postings
@@Mr.mysterious76 he claimed the missions are in c# script which is wrong at least for gta 4 and gta 5, and probably rdr2 if they're using c# there which I would not be surprised its not for core game or missions, c# is not going to be as performant as c++ no matter how many paradigms you break
He didnt even gta4 but la noire rdr2 and gta5
Question for JJ and DD; Will the outcome of the US presidential election have any bearing on whether GTA6 will be delayed?
And Q2. Do you think there will be a parody version of Mar a lago?
I’m genuinely confused at the first question. Who, what, when, where, why… Emphasis on the why.
GTFO of here with your politics, half of us arent even yanks so we don't care about your scuzzhole of a country.
Unless they literally ban the game, no, obviously not.
Seems like a fair question, i don’t know why all the other brainless replies are saying otherwise since Dan Houser did say they would not release a gta game under Trump’s presidency.
@@aaxel_dz Because half of us arent even American and don't care about America and their stupid antics. Why can't we just go one day without American politics being bought up on the internet. It's a podcast about a video game what does that have to do with anything political? And no Dan Houser didn't say they wouldn't release GTA, he said he's thankful they're not releasing GTA 6 while Trump was in power so stop twisting words.
Bro went from making blockbuster games to making straight 🚮
I'd still argue that there are no good VR games. I'm not going to buy a VR headset to play some crappy Ass creed game or Half life. There's a reason R* don't bother with VR, cus it's just like mobile gaming, it's for filthy casuals.

How can the dude talk about freedoms of rockstars open games yet in red dead 2 if you don’t do something exactly the way rockstar want you too do it then mission failed 👎🏼
Well since he was the lead game designer at Rockstar and worked on GTA 6, it is a good sign that GTA 6 will offer more freedom in missions compared to RDR2
Because you see freedom as something diffrent than he Sees it
