I have the United cutlery version , I really do love this knife . Comes sharp out the box but does need little work to make it razor sharp . I've only spent small time using leather strop and the knive goes through paper and shaves hair with ease .
Don't worry mate, it didn't lost. I have ordered Hollywood Collectibles version from Canada and they arrived in 3 months from purchase. I'm in the UK also.
Just got my heartstopper from the slystalloneshop and I am very pleased with it. Mine did have the certificate in the box. The united cutlery's scales are not only the correct color, but they are 100% micarta whereas the HC version scales are green injected molded plastic. For me it was worth it to get the united cutlery version.
United Cutlery also has the Hibben "Arizona Bowie" {get it?} It is a replica of the "original" design Stallone had Gil Hibben do for last blood before he went with the Pohl knives.
NOTE: one of the most underestimated knives is the Ontario kukri. It is a high carbon steel knife with a forward slanted blade for incredible cutting power ! ⚠ It can be used as a survival knife or a self-defense knife.
I picked up a cold steel Gurkha kukri a few years ago and it’s a beast ! Thick hunk of steel , crazy sharp , and an amazing chopper . I did give the blade a coating of anti rust paint.
The metal you see exposed on the handle is actually a "sheath" that covers the real tang and it includes the skull crusher, at least on the HC version. Look up the disassembly video by "Donnie B All Day" to see the actual construction of it.
I have the Hibben III, which is a reproduction of the Rambo III knife. From my understanding, it wasn't allowed to be marketed as a Rambo III knife, due to licensing issues.
I just bought a Rambo knife at Harbor Freight Tools for $6.95. Came complete with the compass, fishing kit, matches, and all. I think I got a good deal.
I have all the Rambo movie knives apart from this one ( it won’t be long before I purchase) ... a couple of years ago I finally purchased the the Crocodile Dundee knife made by Down under knives and called the outback... it’s a fantastic piece of kit and can be used for camping etc not just a wall hanger ...😎👍🇬🇧
If you go back and watch Rambo last blood again pay close attention to his leg when he's walking up to the cartel guy he has a piece of nylon string tied around his leg which is why the Hollywood productions one has the nylon string
@@jasonnix1423 however. They got the shape wrong. The sheath does not contour to the blade. But it ends in a tip, not a rounded tip like the United Cutlery but a pointier tip like the HCG version. The HCG version is meant to mimic the CNC-Tec version of the knife which has a darker guard and the blade contoured sheath. Cheers 🍻!

These are only replikas - the original has been sold by Pohl Force but is out of stock. They called it Canvas-Green but I own one and its more beige than green.

The greener handle/scales on the HCG version is A Tribute To First Blood and the Original Green Handle on the first knife in the first movie,a little Fact Bro. the authenticity paperwork is probably in the handle with the three matches compass and wire saw. besides if I was going to order a knife endorsed by a famous movie star it would be Mr crocodile Dundee!!!!!! LOL and then put Stallone's knife in my kitchen cabinet with all the other pairing knives. lol

United Cutlery didn’t forget to put in the COA. They were not available. If they waited for them to arrive , and Then ship the knife , we would all still be waiting for the package to arrive . They will mail them separately ( that is what they told me ). The United knife is also a tad thicker and used Linen Micarta handle . The Hollywood used plastic . It is a downer about HCG . I have all there knives too but for them to ignore Hibben is just so wrong on so many levels . I don’t know how they got away with it . I think it’s because they are licensed to use the RAMBO name only ( so that gives them rights to sell whatever they want ). I don’t even think the original designer of the HeartStopper is receiving any royalties .( D Pohl ). It’s a Nasty Business .

I'm more going for movie accuracy, but that's a purely personal preference of course. These are wallhangers, I dont know how good is quality of steel tempering and heat treting and which kind of steel was used, probably some cheap stainless high chrome steel. Design of this knife is higly functional combat fighting knife, designed by Dietmar Pohl from Germany and originals made by his company Pohl Force in high quality.

What do we talk about? The color of the paintjob? - 'Cmon, mentioning the steel used is no rocket science.
They're both stainless steel the UNC one is 7CR17 which is very similar to HC steel to hardness toughness esc the other one is highly likely generic SS knife material which isn't a bad thing just not as tough as High Carbon steel and is prone to rolling if abused. Out of the two I'd say the UNC one is overall better from the weight distribution (bringing the weight closer to the handle to have higher control of the knife) higher quality steel alloy and looks better. Value wise I think the Hollywood one will hold up much better as time goes on whist the UNC won't since it isn't made by the company and isn't in short supply. Final thoughts keep the hollywood one on a shelf and use the UNC one as its supposed to be used to get the best bang for your buck. ;)

You dont want to baton or chop 4" dia branches with them, but they are more than wall hangers. Especially if first treated with JB Weld (in the Rambo I and II handles).

I just just prefer First Blood 1&2 Knives over any of the others , that's just my opinion and I would tell this to Stallone to his Face or to the guy that designed any and all of these Knives because it's what I like , you may or may not like the Knives I like but it's OK , you are allowed to like whatever you want , it just so happens that I think that this design sucks but if you like it or if anyone else likes it that's OK too , but it seems if you or me makes a comment that doesn't sit well with some people you are labeled as a Troll ,
