Brilliant instructions. Made mine. Had fabulous lopi wool that has become the feathers. I also used the red yarn and orange yarn to create “wings” on the sides of the body. Loads of fun. I’m quite new to felting, and found your instructions easy and helpful. A grateful follower ♥️♥️🇨🇦

It is adorable. I’m a knitter, crocheter and beginner needle felter. I think the needle felted version is my favorite. I actually did little frogs using nothing but yarn and bits of pre-felt as one of my first projects.

This is such a Cute and fun idea! I have been needle felting for almost a year now and this would have been great for when i was a beginner. But even now when i have improved alot, these easy ideas are really fun to do every once in a while! I love your ideas and videos they're always so creative and fun! I just love your videos , so informative & your explanations are so clear . I’m going to try a chicken for my next project as lost a bit of confidence trying to make one of my dogs which was a lot harder than I thought and I’m not happy with the result
Dogs (and cats) are really quite hard, getting the face details correct is tricky, definitely felt a chicken and have some fun with it, thanks for watching xx
Charlie (in all his iterations) is so cute! I especially like the blue one, but I seem to like all the blue critters you make 😁 (I have the blue highland cow you made, sitting on my dresser!) Have you crocheted a chicken? I've done 2 of them. They are so cute! Mine have beaks that stick out, like Charlie's does, instead of just being some yarn that goes across the face. I think the 3D beaks look better. Anyway, thanks for sharing! Take care!
I really like the blue one too! I think I might change his tail but I love the colour. It's always lovely to know my felts have gone to a good home! I haven't done anything further than a shawl for crochet but I will, I really do want to try a chicken but I am still such a beginner, soon hopefully xx

Yes and some acrylics do work but it's hard to say which ones so safer to order one with some wool in it xx
