I tried argireline a few years back and didn’t experience any difference. On the other hand, I’ve had great results with Buffet and I just got a tube of CAIL that I’ll be cracking into after the holidays. CAIL was a big splurge so I have to reevaluate my routine and see if I’m doubling up on any duplicate function products.
BTW…you most likely already know this, but I received an email from The Ordinary today and they’ve started a new email list for The O Lab for early information and access to upcoming products. They’re releasing 6 new products on different release dates…and I’m so excited!!! 😆

I’m still stunned that using Argireline and Matrixyl together the way you suggest started giving me results in two weeks of once daily use. I’m in my 60’s, which makes it all the more impressive.

Acetyl hexapeptide-8 is known as Argireline. Look through your serums for it. In my Revision Line Relaxer it is the third ingredient. You might be getting some other places too!

That's brilliant Rob, thank you, you have answered so many questions for me. Been using Argireline and Matrixyl and also G&G A Game for last couple of months and have seen a massive reduction in my deep lines and wrinkles (50 ex smoker). It's like learning a new language so I really appreciate you imparting your knowledge - THANK YOU XXX

I use Argireline with matrixyl, hylaluroic acid 2%+B5, and vitamin C. Mix it all in the palm of my hand and pat it on my face and neck. Been doing this for a long time. Love it ❤

I've been using TO Argireline, Matrixyl, and Resveratrol + Ferulic Acid (Vit C irritates my skin) for a few weeks and can definitely tell a difference. My fine lines have diminished very noticeably. I am also using the Peach Slices Snail Rescue toner and deep moisturizer. My skin is calmer than it has been in years. I will be ordering some of the MAS products soon once I have depleted some of my overstock lol. I can't wait to try it! Especially the sunscreen.

Hi Rob, first of all, love your reviews.
Skincare geek and long term user here (I'm 42)
To be honest, I started using argireline on my eye area since the beginning of the ordinary, so I can't really say if my lack of fine lines and wrinkles in the eye area are due to this or not... But truth is I don't have many.
But more recently I started noticing fine lines around my mouth, and started using argireline also in that area, and I think I can see changes for the best in like 2 months, so I will also now be applying this to that area.

The ordinary matryxil broke me out, can I use the ordinary buffet + copper peptides with the argireline serum instead?

  • @williamtheantioxidantqueen3546

I used BabyFace 20% Argeline and Matryxl for 6 weeks. I found no difference. I'm finding this peptide is a hit or miss for many people

  • @internationallanguageofdan3559

I've tried stopping argilerine while trying different peptide serums but I always come back to it. It's like the G&G C Glow for me, my skin really seems to miss it if I skip it for a few days, so these are now my two essentials. I also really appreciate the watery consistency of the argilerine, as most other serums are thicker, so I find I can pair it with a variety of other things. My favourite pair is argilerine plus Copper peptide buffet 😋 You look great in black btw xxx

I am using it with Skin Functional 10% ascorbic acid + 3% ferulic acid. I find this vit C is great especially around my mouth, plumps the lips as an extra perk xxx

The ordinarys Ascorbyl tetroisopalmitate is exactly the same ingredient very expensive vitamin C use. It’s THD or tetrahexyldecyl ascorbate. There are so many brands that sell like an 18% THD or 20% and charge over 100$ which I’ve never fallen for. I love this derivative as well

Greatings from Australia. I have read many journal articles that show diminishing of wrinkles around the eyes up to 24%. I haven't found evidence for forehead and Nasal labal folds. It is good to find your own evidence if U have access, as frequently 'experts' maybe bias, have their own agenda or just made a sweeping statement based on the evidence at that moment.

Regarding the Argireline/Matrixyl Combo by The Ordinary…What are your thoughts on the following.
AM The Ordinary Argireline used with the Timeless CoQ10?
PM The Ordinary Argireline used with the Timeless Matrixyl Synthe 6?
Do you think these combos are as effective as using the Matrixyl by the Ordinary?

I think I heard on a recent Q&A on the Doctorly channel that certain peptides (copper included) work by some kind of oxidation process and that combining them with antioxidants is counter productive in that case. I wish I could remember which episode. I continue to try to separate my peptides from antioxidants. Pretty sure it did not include argeraline, but my daytime eye cream has copper peptides in it and I have been using vitamin C on the rest of my face. I am constantly wondering if they are bleeding into each other and dulling the efficacy. 🫤
