If anyone remembers..years ago Victoria Principal ( she used to be on the show Dallas.. here in the states) she started her own skin care line..in the 90's. The products had Argireline...I used it in my 30's. I have pretty good skin for a 56 yr old. 😊
I remember. Here in Aus, they were on TV like an infomercial, about a half hour ad/info session. Was too expensive for me and I was probably too young to need it, but I do remember her doing it.
I loved the Derma-E products (especially that moisturizer!), but found I could only use them maybe 2, max 3, days in a row before my skin would be on fire 😭 All the essential oils and lavender just don't agree with my sensitive skin 🥺 But if you don't have that issue, I definitely recommend, too!
Thanks for the recommendations! I have both The Ordinary Argireline and the Matrixyl serums on my "to try" list, but definitely prefer to streamline steps when possible!
@@MadAboutSkin hi. Just found your channel. I have been using products with Niacinamide and retinol because of recent acne breakouts that started in my late 20s, i am interested in putting argireline into my facial routine and was wondering where and how it can be incorporated. And if it is compatible with Tetrinoin, Glycol and Vitamin C? I was wondering if you have done a similar video about how to incorporate Argireline without ruining my anti-acne routine
What about the 'buffet' from the ordinary? it has both the matryxil 3000, synthe-6, argiriline, syn@-ake (spealling) peptide combo as well as bifida ferment.
I like the Cos de Baha peptide serum. I know it has 3 peptides that are argireline and matrixyl 3000, but unlike the ordinary, it does not have matrixyl synthe 6 which I feel like has done the most for my skin since the ordinarys has both but I just found it didn’t compare to the combination of the ordinarys !
For me TO Argiriline is very drying on my mature skin. I was using along with the DRMTLGY serum and really saw no change. At 50+ I think my brow crinkles are now Botox worthy for life at this point 🤣 So excited to try your GYCSS .. Thank you 🙏
I'm 47 and since using The Ordinary Argireline, my deep 11s are virtually gone! I'm using it for the rest of my life! Twice a day, before all other products, on dry skin. I genuinely LOVE this product!! 💯💞

I jave been using Matrixyl and Argireline together since I first heard you talk aboit them and the results, especially around my eyes has been incredible. Mixing them in the palm of my hand is not a big issue, plus I have an allergy to Aloe Vera, ao the Cos De BAHA serum wouldn't work for me.
Love your presentation here. So much relevant detail! I am in my early 60s, have excellent skin (possibly attributed to my longtime commitment to clean food and exercise) but certainly the lines are creeping in. I am new to topical peptides, this is a learning curve. Thank you for this!
I have not tried The Ordinary Argireline but I did try Good Molecules Super Peptide serum and enjoyed the hydration that it gave me. I will have this one on rotation.
On deep lines, I suspect it’ll have little effect. I had some small horizontal lines on top of nose btw eyebrows & some light 11’s that completely disappeared after consistently using TO Argireline. Worth a try! On neck & forehead, it’s had zero effect on light lines I have there . . .

Hi hun, I hope your having the most amazing start to the week.. I totally agree with you, I think on deep lines it will have minimal effect but on the more superficial ones it could be great.. sending you lots of love xx
Derma E would be a great product if they kept out the skin irritants (Witch Hazel, essential oils and fragrance). Even some botanicals can cause irritation so botanicals to me, does not equal good. Thanks for taking the time to review and analyze different products for us as I find most main stream products not worth the money! Cheers!
Hi hun, I do wish they would cut down on the amount of essential oils, I personally like fragrance in my skincare but with this brand it is a little much I agree with you.. sending you so so much love xxxxx
This is why I have asked you about the Pure and Care serums, because they also have an argireline serum. But another great video from you, with lots of information to my skincare routine.
I have also been using the 2 ordinary products after eatchinf hiur video iver a year ago. But ehrn i added vitamin C seum, my skin was not as good anymore. So i started using the TO in the morning snd Vitamin C in the evening .
I've been eyeing up the cos de Baha serum after I finish their peptide toner, so thank you for discussing it! Another plus over the ordinary separate serums is that the TO matrixyl contains castor oil which can break some people out (they put it in the buffet too...why??) Shame cos de haha don't actually state the percentages though like they do some of their other main ingredients :(
I totally ignored the MAS Super Serum contains 10% Argireline. Good to know. Probably the MAS Super Serum can be considered as a substitute for The Ordinary Argireline serum....
What do you think of Dermatology Neddleless Serum? Not sure thay you have tried it but I've been eyeing it for a long time!! They always have discounts on the website.
Hi Rob, I am starting to get increase skin turnover rate and my laugh line is less noticeable now. Great discovery on the ingredients as my skin is now smoother and glowing. 😍
Hi Rob this was interesting as the ordinary version is in HA - my skin hates a lot of HA and this is why I don't buy the ordinary serums. I've been using the sub q and the sub q eye for weeks now (I think it contains argireline). At 50 I can't say I've noted a massive difference in my lines/wrinkles, but perhaps a tiny bit around the eye. Some of the alternatives look interesting though. Best wishes.
Hi hun, it works well with everything really though some people prefer not to use it straight after exfoliating acids because of the PH though this doesnt personally bother me xx
When will your serum be coming back? Also wouldn't a darker bottle have better shelf life, which brings me to the question how long does it last? Last but not least, should it be stored in the fridge? Thanks!
