But if you put him in the ring with someone his own size - Canelo, say, - you'd quickly discover the extent of his 'talent'. This is not an attack on the man himself. A long time ago, i use to see his Dad Kostya around Rockdale with his little kids. He was always happy and chatty with his kids. Wow, now his kids have all grown up.
I met Kostya in Arncliffe (near rockdale) when I was younger, my mum knew him. I went to school with Tim, he was in the same year as me, very nice family, lovely people.

Even though Horn can win some fights through his tactics, rough style and amazing determination it is all at the expense of his health and the sports reputation. Horn should be happy that he was able to get as far as he did and make good money along the way, now retire and look after your health and family.

Tim Tzyu apparently watched film on Horn’s dirty tactics and he got in the ring, fought Horn’s fight held and hit ,hit on the break, used elbows and threw Horn around.. Horn could dish it out but couldn’t take it. After the Pacquaio robbery, I was glad to see Horn take a beating and quit on his stool. Karma.

Tim is okay. I think he still needs to develop his footwork, timing ,and efficiency. He still has a long way to go before he gets close to his dad, Kostya's precision and skill.

By giving jeff the win that night they elevated him to a level he clearly isn't. 3 win in his last 6 outings is clearly a sign jeff was never ready for the step up and I'm not bashing him because for me any man who steps in the ring deserves his credit but there are levels in boxing and jeff is getting hammered by up and comers now and the reality is jeff who is a nice bloke will be struggling to put sentence together in 10 years.
