BUDMO!
If you want a good addition, you ought to have a few kegs with taps for it...that's where your ales and beers would likely be served from. Craft Barrels are really cheap to just buy if you don't want to make them from scratch.
How does the bartender get behind the bar though?
@@goontubeassos7076Commitment.
He is drinking from his keg again! Good ol' times...
You outdid yourself on this one, this is a banger. Love all of these tiny foods!
"TAVERNKEEPER! A KEG OF YOUR MOST FLAMMABLE HOOCH AND SOME CHICKEN NUGGETS! Oh wait. It's not a real tavern." Love how colorful and warm this looks.
Whatever you do, don't drink the Dragon's breath.

A large Bugbear in an apron finally steps out with your order,
" Sowee it took so lawng. I'm nawt ah wezurd. Had to enovate yur drank frum scratch. "
A large drink of boiling amber liquid is placed in front of you with a heavy ' thud '. It smells of spices and hard liquor...and something you can't quite place.
The chicken nuggets seem adequate to order.
What do you do?

The fireplace needs what every good fantasy inn has...an animal head! Either a common animal like an elk or boar, or something exotic like a dragon.
A note on the bread. The score marks on bread are from relief cuts to control where the bread splits when baking and are lighter than the surrounding crust. With the wash accumulating in the divot these are more like patisseries (melon pain, conchlas, etc.) or slabs of meat with grill marks than loafs. Not a bad thing, just something to be aware of if you or someone at your table is going to be anal about those kinds of details.
Let's not 'get anal' about the breads.

This is probably one of my favorite videos you've done because, aside from the cliché "everyone meets in a tavern" scene, so much of it can be repurposed into other types of scenes like the BBEG hosting his new "guests" for a sumptuous banquet before their demise, etc.
The ending of this video was a real "thank god im not crazy" moment. I hate the detail work of miniature painting, but I love all this stuff. Thanks for the video!
Awesome man! Between you, Blackmagic Craft, and Dungeoncraft I was inspired to start building all my own stuff and sharing my work!
This turned out so well! Sculpting with hot glue is wonderful. It’s how I make my training dummies.
Also…
In culinary school our practice frosting was dyed blue specifically because there is no blue food!
(Except apparently raw toucan meat.)
This looks amazing, Wyloch. Seeing you integrate and innovate on your style over the years has helped my own development. I know i'm just a stranger on the internet, but I'm proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone and grateful to you for sharing the process with us.
fireplace def needs a longsword over the fire, like the winchester above the bar lol awesome work!
Love this channel. Unlike some of the other crafters, I look at Wyloch's stuff and think "That seems achievable." It's great advice at the end when he says that your work doesn't have to be movie miniature level. Other channels are just so daunting in the perfection they present. Keep it up!
The classic hot glue candles probably work best for large ceremonial candles, and these slender ones make a lot of sense for a furnished room!
Making tiny things out of random bits and pieces is extremely satisfying. I also think the point about mixed media is very well made. If you include non-painted objects, it sometimes only serves to highlight the shortcomings of the painted bits. Great video!
I absolutely love that all the food is made with hot glue. The painted bead bottles look like clay jugs. And every time I see your new preferred method of painting wood to look like wood, I appreciate it even more.
I just spent my Sunday making food. Tonight I look at my plate and I wish I could eat it. Thank you
What a gold mine of ideas! If I ever get around to make a banquet hall for my Space Marine chapter, I'll know exactly which channel to come to. Great work once again chief! 😁
Great Video.
The key to enjoying crafting is to be happy with how it looks, no matter how it compares to anybody else's work, otherwise what you are doing will never be finished, and Frustration and Burnout soon follows.
Just a thought, but your glass bottles may not have worked visually because the cores are visible. Your opaque new version doesn’t have this and so looks better. As potions/perfumes they are ok because those bottles often have a dispenser/dropper core.
This is awesome though. Truly epic.
Wow, the candle seems to shine as if it had a LED at the flame, that looks really fantastic Wyloch! All the assets look great! Those bottles are just gorgeous... Well done!!! =)
As the video opened, I was thinking nice clay work. Then, you hit me with the plot twist. Great work!
You continue to impress me, everytime
These walls tie everything together so well, one of my favorite videos now
A tea party? THAT is your favorite part of crafting? 😁. Fabulous!!
That is a great looking playset.
"A mantra the serves me well in other areas." 😆
Bro, you are the KING of crafting! Your ingenuity is boundless! Well done, sir. Well done.
Great job as always brother, please don’t ever stop making videos ever again! Hitting your craft wood products with a single pass or so of a low grit (rough) sandpaper really quick will give a wonderful bit of texture that also takes stain and dry brush really well and goes great with the actual grain. I actually have a tavern that is almost identical in both approach and style as this. A tavern is an essential location and will blow the minds of your next dnd party when you pull it out and will almost certainly be your most used bit of terrain you could ever have.
For fire I use cotton and Q-tips for candles and lamps. Red orange and yellow colored Sharpies to color active fires and standard Cotton for smoke.
Best build yet!!! The hot glue bread loaves are a fantastic idea! The floor is a true game changer! I love your solution for tankards. I might attach the loop you cut off that dragon charm as a handle for one of them.
Seriously? I won a PS5? Can I trade it in for some chipboard? LOL
Love the callback to drinking beer at the start of your early videos. Great work as always! Want to try some of this to add some tavern scatter terrain to my collection.
I really like your end products. Your channel is the one that got me interested in hobby crafting after decades away from the hobby. Thanks, Wyloch!
When you see the finished product, the effect is stunning.
All of this looks amazing. I am definitely going to attempt to make a few of these for myself. I never knew how useful a glue gun could be. Thanks for sharing!
Those bottles look better than most everything else I've seen. And the food construction was clearly better, and so much easier. Really well done, dude!!!
Wow. I was just struggling on how to make a tavern and bam. This vid. What a legend.
21:10 Wyloch relating to his audience on a fundamental level. Honestly man I love your limitation breeding innovation line too, in the last year or so I've toyed with a 3d printer and honestly.. its not for me. Wracking my brain over how to scale household furniture better for a Dwarf is so much more my cuppa tea than just printing something appropriate. Keep up the great work.
Everything is AWESOME Bill!!! Soooo much to single out, but being the OCD maniac I am... @ 21:05 LOL, I'm currently building a modular Castle Ravenloft, floorplans and all! (5'Lx2'Wx3.5'H) For my Curse of Strahd Campaign. I did a final scene Durst Manor basement diorama and I want the BBEG final Boss fight to be EPIC! So far so good, but this one may break me, and I may too fall victim to Strahd and also be in Strahd's midnight soul's "Death March"????!!!
Great job and highly entertaining Bill!
Thank you kindly
Nice, cosy, feelgood video, perfect for my day off.
I love this to pieces, Wyloch! I'm actually making about a dozen to 18 of your trenches for my FLGS. Good times!
SUGGESTION: in painting the flames in the fireplace, one could ad a few places of black at the top end of the fire, leaving orange/yellow bits above it. This would simulate flames leaping up from the fire. Aslo, Add an LED light behind the fire in the fireplace. Don't forget digital sound track of roaring crackling fire.
Also light a small fire behind the DM screen. The smoke will add ambiance and add an air of mystery and drama to your expression.
Amazing build as always. I love the simplicity of no table legs, chairs, benches etc. More interaction with NPC's. without being clutterd...
I love it. All you need now is a chandelier. Can't have a tavern without a chandelier for the dwarf to swing from.
Lol praise be God's gift to humanity : Rustolium primer. 😇🙌🤣
Anyway long time watcher, but I think this is my favorite video from you!
It's funny, it's inspiring, it's full of brilliant DIY low cost ideas. And the ending is gold.
Huzzah!
That's a terrific looking spread. Now I want a nice thick piece of bread smeared with some soft cheese and some salami and beer.
I really appreciate that even though Wylock owns a 3D printer and other nice equipment, he still makes tutorials that are simple and accessible. A lot of crafting youtubers get big enough to buy nice equipment then stop doing the simple DIYs that got them the viewership in the first place.
that wine/liquor shelf is really something. Everything looks great but it's my favourite piece. Keeping the idea for it in a corner of my head
I know that ill never have enough patience to do this, but I just love watching your videos for the vibes
That ending was amazing
New subscriber but loving the work and videos. Honestly the ending made me a bigger fan, showing the realism of how we do these things and that we are not all professionals who can do everything in a single shot. Edits need to be done and mistakes in painting and talking occur. What matters is the connection and the honesty we provide those who want to learn and be inspired. So thank you!
Watching this for the second time now, I think the food looks amazing!
This is brilliant. Such an inspirational video for us crafters whereas these tiny accoutrements are pure evil to make by hand. Splendid!
You had me at cheese wheels!
MTPG* great stuff here I like that you get critical and that takes things up a notch. The wash to unify the dishes great move. The painted bottles instead of raw elements also a really good move. The taverns really are some of my fav builds so warm and cozy. Again I wish I could visit this place and drink the night away.
I am watching wylochs armory for three years now and to me this is the gold standard. But oh boy, this video is yet another step beyond master level. That fire place and those candles... They are better than fantastic!
Fantastic video! Can't wait to replicate most/all of these. My group is never going to leave the tavern.
One of the best DM crafting vids I've seen. Simple ideas with maximum impact!
I missed him chugging a drink at the start of the videos! I want to see more of that!
I loved your original tavern tiles, but these look really impressive.
For some reason I feel the need to include a feast scene in my next session... I wonder if some 1/4" dowel might make a good cheese wheel and I am excited to try more layers on the turkey leg technique to get a ham. Probably have to slice off the top and trim the bone when it's done.
Thanks Wyloch, this was great! I think that you have got my creative juices flowing for the first time in a while!
I just recently made some cheese wheels using your technique and it turned out great. The only difference I didnt use the paper straws like you did. Rather I used some color plastic straws to represent different types of cheese wheels. I used red for cheddar cheese, orange straw for guoda, black straw for dark cheddar and a dark red straw or purple for sharp cheddar and green straw for goat cheese. That way it looks like the wax seal you find on different types of cheese
I literally just ran across your videos. The end of this one spoke to me because the thought of making these is EXCITING!! to me! I can't wait to get to the craft store!
I'm hindsight, I never thought I'd say that sentence lol 🤔
The wash at the end brought it all together!
This is so fun! The finished results are awesome too!
It’s fantastic! One thing I would suggest with the washes, try washing and a light “random” wipe, it keeps the wash mostly in the crevices, mostly.
Great video! Wonderful builds, to be sure, and the imparted lessons are superb
I love this video. I'm probably a bit late to the party as a crafter but this has given me some great ideas and jumping off points. I used the method for making beakers with the clear paintbrush protectors and got instant glasses. Thanks for the inspiration!
These are FANTASTIC! Thanks for designing and sharing these methods.
I like the floor a lot...better than the linoleum floor tiles I use by far (granted it makes my Dungeon tiles double sided, but the warpage is rough). Thank you for the inspiration to get outside the zone.
First time on the channel, and oh boy is it a good discovery ! I especially loved the food, it looks amazing ! Even if it's a bit too much for a simple tavern, it's more a feast here :p
Welcome
Stunning and incredibly creative as always. Amazing work, very inspirational!
An absolute banger of a video. Great job as always.
Great work as always ya zogger. Watching this video makes me hungry. The wood bits came out perfect. I love it.
For the middle of your fireplace, put a magnet. You can change it to fit the adventure!
Man this is AMAZING, I love your channel so much. My great aunt raised me and she had a basement full of crafts and so I grew up making crafts and your channel feels like such a huge nostalgia hit and I’m so inspired to make stuff! Thank you!!
Amazing! God Bless you for having the patience to make these incredible products!
I've seen you do some very impressive crafts on this channel. This, by far, is the coolest. Please take that for the complement it is meant to be. Amazing work. I can't wait to try some of this.
Going old school with the beer-chug intro, nice
Easy and beautiful pieces, thanks for doing all the hard work for the rest of us.
You did not oversell it in the intro, this is some of my favourite work you've done
Nice work as always (also, the intro reminded me that I need to get the Baldur's Gate Humble bundle :) ).
Thank you. You have inspired me to create things again.
Thank you for your tutorials. I will use it for my dollhouse.
Nice work! I use acorn caps for serving trays and peppercorns for fruit and vegetables. A layer of modpodge acts as a sealant
You really nailed it this time. This is a phenomenal video.
Thanks for the video! I will share this in my FB group!
This is absolutely AWESOME!!! - I cannot repeat enough how glad I am you're back with your vision to our beloved hobby!
Greetings from Northern Germany and Keep up the good work! 🤘
Thanks to Wyloch, I watch things and play games!
I absolutely love these wood floor tiles!
Great work, of course now I have to go make a tavern.
Such a smorgasbord of great tips and techniques. It looks delicious! Thanks for all your inspiration, more please.
I want that but I don't have the patience to do it and refuse to spend the money.... but I still want it! lol, love your channel. This is great
I'm so happy I found this video specifically for the idea of cutting out artwork from MTG commons for paintings on walls. I never know what to put up there and have NEVER thought to try that! Thank you so much
This was a great video! Feels like you had a lot of fun!
An amazing tutorial and great advice at the end!!! Thanks for your channel!! 🤟👍
Man, I don't know if it's the beer or what but this video really seemed like a return to form for you which is amazing to see.
you could always try putting tiny magnets inside of everything to make it even more modular and change up where things go
Great video as always mate, love to see a guy that doesn't do everything out of XPS, your videos are a absolute reference for me, in Brazil XPS is really rare and expensive since we usually do insulation out of EPS when needed, thank you for being such an inspiration.
Coolest thing I’ve seen. I want to get into dnd so badly with my friends but since I have some minis, two starter sets and some adventures, all I need is some terrain things and I really didn’t want to buy it cus it was so expensive, this is made from things I actually have so thanks man! Much appreciated👑
When you said iconic bartenders I thought Al Murray was about to make a cameo
