You’re such a great teacher. Thank for teaching us that you can fill that pot up! Dear Lord, multiply their tubing!! 😄
I have been watching your videos for a few years and find myself going back through your video catalog to search for something I need. THANK YOU Aaron and Laura for tagging everything for youtube and for folks like myself that search for specific ideas and inspiration! This specific recipe for a total shade garden container to shade landscape is perfect. THANK YOU!
Dee in North Atlanta
Some days your post is the only bright spot. Shine on Laura and Aaron. You are helping people far more than you know xoxo
These are the only gardening videos I watch anymore. I get all I need here. Everything you create is nothing short of stunning.
I am really liking that Goldilocks Creeping Jenny and the Diamond Lake Hosta. The pot turned out so beautifully. Thank you for showing me how to do the planting in a pot and hook up an irrigation system. Happy Cinco de Mayo!
I might have separated the two similarly colored plants with the Surefire begonia. Maybe Creeping Jenny beneath the blue hosta.
@@katediy4563 If I am discerning correctly what you mean, wouldn't the balance be off? I may not be picturing correctly what you mean.
We have creeping Jenny around our pond, and my husband said ours isn’t creeping it’s running! 😂 We’ve also added Heuchera because of your videos. Forever purple and lime marmalade last year, and watermelon Heuchera this year. So pretty! Thanks
I'm a bonafide hosta freak. That blue, upright, pointy form is stunning!
Oh it definitely inspired me...I came in from gardening to eat lunch (forced myself to take a break), if I can’t garden while eating lunch, I’ll watch your garden videos!
How could I not know about Goldilocks Creeping Jenny?? Thank you. I'm going to use it this season in two containers (my first real containers :o ), and maybe in the front of a shade border I'm starting. Yay!
you guys are pumping out videos! I hope you don't get too burnt out, but I wanted you to know that I really appreciate it
Yaaaay! I love that you post so reliably. Beautiful after getting off work
I can't thank you enough for this. I recently moved in a apartment and have a north-east facing patio, and was so discouraged about gardening this year. Thank you for your videos! They're not only incredibly informational, but so so relaxing. 💚🌱🌼
I really really like that you mention winter zones for each plant. I live in zone 4 and it's important that I not just repeat what you do, but can find suitable plants for my container or flowerbed.
I just want to work with you for one day!!! I really enjoy your informative videos!
Seriously love these daily videos!!!! It's so fun to see all these awesone plants.
It always amazing to me that you get so many plants in one pot
I was so excited to find proven winner superbells, supertunias, and euphorbia in my local Home Depot this morning! (Proven Winners is hard to find around here.). I did a jig on the inside. 😄 thank you for all the beautiful inspiration. 🌿💖
We love your channel in the Midwest; thank you for all of the gardening tips that you share with us; God bless!!! :)
OMG!! My container game is so strong this year! You’ve taught me so much and I even made a planter fountain. Thanks so much for sharing your videos and info! You so awesome girl!
Another beautiful mix. I've made two trips to my local nursery and replaced the scrubby little hellebore that froze out with three big healthy ones. You showed them on one of your videos last fall, and they were so pretty I grabbed the last one on the table at my local nursery. Along with it I spotted a very interesting little plant called mukgenia which did survive the winter. Purchased three more of those, very colorful low growing. The leaves turn red in the fall along with my maple trees. With the plants you are mentioning in your videos my gardens are starting to really look good
Love that mahogany heuchera, saw them at the garden center and will be adding at least one.
Thank you for using some plants that can live in zone 10-11!! ☀️
I feel the same way lol zone 10b is a killer
Yes! Zone 10b here also. 🙋
Love terra-cotta pots and shade plants
I love the hosta in a pot! And that mahogany monster is 😍 Must. Have. Some!! Well done!
This inspired me with a couple of my containers in the front of my house. I ended up using the heuchera as the center peice, and filled in the surrounded area with creeping Jenny. It turned out so nice! Thanks for the inspiration! ♥️🌱
Wow! An amazing study in color, texture, and drip!
I could always use ideas for my containers, especially shade ideas!!! Love the way the container looks & the color & what you matched to put in the pot!!!!
Thank you for sharing shade options. Gorgeous pot!
@Catherine D, Yes! Always so good to see shade possibilities.
Catherine D s
The south side of my home is almost completely shady because of the established trees. I added a shade garden last summer on that side, and this pot would look absolutely lovely as an addition to that garden. Thanks again for the inspiration!
I just restumbled on this video and I just had to comment this was the first ever video I saw and have been hooked since and start my day with a coffee and your videos every morning.
I finished watching this mornings recap video and now watching random older ones cuz I haven't had enough! So entertaining. So happy Aaron had a need to start creating videos and garden answer was born 😁 love it guys. Thank you for what you do 🙏🏼
What an awesome arrangement and my coffee with Laura was so interesting today. I really like the Heuchera and think I need to find some for our garden at work. Thanks for all the lovely ideas in this pot!!
Heuchera’s were never really a plant I was drawn to, but after watching your videos I now have two in my garden and bought two for my mother in-laws garden. We love them. Thank you so much for the inspiration. Beautiful arrangement.
Found your site a few weeks ago... just love it. Can’t garden right now due to back problem, so watching your video keeps me positive. Can’t wait to get back in the dirt.😘
Gardening is my hobby so I just love to watch your videos . Your videos are so inspiring, the pot turn out georgeous😍👍
Beautiful pot! Great idea, using perennials on a temporary basis in a lot, and then integrating them into their permanent spot! Establishing firm root system while enjoying their beauty with a mobile pot, just love it!
Looks very nice did inspire me for my shade area thank you for sharing 😀🌹👌
Always like your planter suggestions and then replanting ideas. Thank you!
Love that you’re planting some pots! Always look to you for inspiration. Finally going to be nice enough to plant some pots today in Ohio.
Who knew there were so many different colors and textures for shade plants! Great video.
Hi Laura and Aaron! Your planter turned out just beautiful! Very nice choice of plants! Your videos are so inspiring. Thank you for sharing!
I don’t know how you get so many in! I don’t seem to be able to do it. Love how excited you get! Thanks for sharing!
looks great we need a tour of your family garden center
She actually has a video of that if you look back and see!
Beautiful. I have a beautiful Dogwood and I have my bird bath and feeders there and it needs some interest. This is perfect👍🏻 thank you
Just discovered your channel and enjoying it immensely. Good for the soul during another stay at home order time in Ontario Canada. Thanks!
Wow! That turned out so beautiful.
You've inspired me alright! Can't wait for our garden centres to get plants!
New subscriber. Wow, such great, thorough, no- nonsense info! I’m in Ohio, so very relevant to my planting beds! Thank you!
Thanks again for showing how to add the irrigation as you plant.
You have inspired us to enlarge our beds.
@Frank Briley Haha, me too
Always cool to see i can put this perennial in my zone in montreal (Quebec) area ! Thanks
Always inspiring! Y'all work so hard putting out vids--you deserve everything you're working toward! (elegant greenhouse?)
I could listen to you all day! Your voice is so soothing to me. 😂.
Love this video! Love using perennials in containers. So smart.
I can't wait to start planting up my containers. Even though it was too cold here last week, I just had to buy ($144 worth of) plants. They've been kept cozy in my portable greenhouse in the garage (also known as a car). Yesterday, I released them to start getting used to real sun. So pretty just in the boxes, they'll look even better once placed in their homes for the summer. There's a flowering sage that's so pretty. I think it's called Snow White, but it's blue.
It is really pretty! Watching you do the pot irrigation was super fun. Thank you for this video.
You really inspired me alot in this hobby!
Love u
The arrangement came out beautifully.
You have inspired us to plant! Our gardens are looking great thanks to you. I'm in a zone 10. Boy is it hard to find pretty plants that appeal to me here. I'm not much into Arizona indigenous plants. We do have lots of shade trees and most of our plant should survive the plant frying sun. Thank you for putting us in the mood for beauty in the gardens ❣
Beautiful pot Laura! I hope to see it later on during the summer.
Very pretty! I so NEEDED a Heuchera fix, too! They're such amazing plants! I love the begonia and fern, too! Great looking in the big terracotta and being able to transfer 4 of the 5 is wonderful. Every video that involves "drip" scores high with me! Such a great, labor-reducing measure in the garden! Thanks for sharing!🌾💜
Love all the plants, just stunning
Will you consider making kneeling pads merch, or garden glowes merch? Maybe a garden kit with your favourite tools?
Cause I would buy it and rock it. 🙂🐝
Loving the shade videos !!! The container is beautiful
Love this and what a great idea for enjoying now and later in the landscape. 😊💚🌿
This post is so timely for me as I'm just getting started with gardening and am trying to figure out what would survive in a planter in full shade at my front door. You mentioned checking on your plants watered by drip irrigation and adjusting the amount of water they get as needed. I'd love to see a video where you talk about how to choose the right gph emitter for the situation and show us what a plant looks like when it's getting too much water or not enough. Love you channel and thanks so much!
I am taking a copy of the plants to my local garden center. This arrangement is just beautiful. Thanks.
This is so funny, yesterday I woke up and planned what I was going to put in a pot next to my front door. I decided on the same exact same plants except for the begonia. Guess who's running back to the nursery this morning? I have learned so much from watching your videos, thank you!
Loving the Monster Heuchera. It is gorgeous with anything I believe. Raining here past couple of days. No garden work for us. Can't wait for the next one.
It looks gorgeous! Thank you Laura! Such great information.
I love the way you match the flowers... tq for sharing
I love when you show us how to set up drip! It turned out beautifully 🤗
Thank you so much for the tips and beautiful ideas for the garden. This year I’m more inspired thanks to you 🤗
Outstanding.....really like your choice of plant's for this project.
Beautiful! You make it all look so easy!
Yes, beauty for shade. Thanks!
Beauuutiful! Yes, a great lesson on color and texture! Love it!
I needed this video I have trees I need to plant pots between and I really wanted perrinals so I don’t have to worry about it next year thank you
I am doing this arrangement this year! I love it !
Great ideas. Thank you for sharing. Thanks Aaron, for the great background music!
Love it! You have outdone yourself Laura!
Love watching these videos
A beautiful selection of plants! I do look forward to your videos so much.
That is beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
Thank for sharing. The combination is SO beautiful!!! Love it! 👍
Hooked up my first drip system to some pots it was awesome can't wait to do the rest of my garden thanks for showing me how
That is a beautiful combination! It’s great to see the “mechanics” behind everything. You are training me! I am starting to think before planting and although I am slower reaching the final product it is SO paying off (although I am installing brown drip on top of fresh mulch cause I couldn’t wait for my Amazon delivery 📦 😊)
Love the shade pot!
Monster Huercura will definitely have to add that to my mix. Using Creeping Jenny for the first time this year, loving it!
Jenny is fun to plant in an elevated pot. It will trail a very long way down!
Great idea to use a container (instead of just annuals) to fill in a space while you wait for things to grow.
Love it! I will definitely do this one! 🌱💜🌱 Thanks Laura
Love the variations in foliage color!
What a gorgeous combination!!!! You are so Art! 👏🏼🙀amazing.
Love it! I just bought more hostas this weekend to add to a new shady area.
Really pretty.
Love it. Great combo.
Such a cute pot. Ty for sharing
A great container video the colors are beautiful!
Love that fern!
Great video. Some day I will start a shade garden but for now working on a sunny one.
I love the perennial you used I love hostas
Gorgeous!
