- Newly released video of a Washington, D.C. carjacking appears to show the driver hanging onto the side of his car as the suspects try to drive it away. Mohammed Anwar, 66, was working as an Uber Eats delivery driver when two teenage girls, 13 and 15, allegedly tried to steal his car. The car then accelerated and crashed. The witness recording the incident ran down the street and found the car flipped on its side and two teens climbing out of the wreck. Anwar was killed in the crash. #InsideEdition

Both girls pled guilty to felony murder charges and were sentenced to a juvenile facility until they're 21. That's 6 years for one and 8 years for the other. The prosecutor declined to charge the 15-year-old as an adult, and in DC the law says 13 year olds can't be charged as adults.
That prosecutor is half responsible for all the future crimes that animal is gonna commit

What adds further insult to injury is those soldiers in the video did not care about the man on the ground. Multiple soldiers there,at least 3-5, and not one rendered first aid or attempted to help the man. Disgusting

Made my heart sink seeing that innocent grandfather lying on the side of the road. He was 66, still working to support his family. Hardworking Pakistani immigrant who came for a better life and for no one to come to his aid like this is heartbreaking. RIP Mr Anwar.

True it's more then one charge they should of got one for stealing the car one for murder and on top of that they said this not the first time they stole a car one was accused
If it was not filmed, the girls could have said they were in an accident, played the victims and the police would have believed them. R.I.P. Mohammed Anwar, you deserved better than this. Lets hope they go inside for a long time.

Same here! I can’t even imagine what drives people my age to even do this kind of stuff. Do we even know the concept of consequences OR OVERALL REALITY ? This man did not deserve to die like this and I honestly pray he gets the justice he and his family deserves.
When i was 14 i was riding my bike, playing video games and knew not to hang around bad people...what keep me from doing things i knew was wrong was being caught and punished for it let alone the embarrassment i caused my family...

Innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. After the trial, then reporters can use more definitive language. The honest ones, anyway. Most of them aren't journalists, they're activists, and use whatever terms garner the most emotion.
