Does it do crystal star dust type of sound like the Whammy in classic mode when playing chords ? Do you need to play a major scale in order for it to detect if it needs to produce a flat fifth or major/minor 6th or 7th ?
I see you choose the number of semi-tones, so I suppose it won't automatically play the major or minor third etc. Why not do a polyphonic Quintessence ? Would be awesome.
@@simaojoseph No not polyphonic. If you play chords or arpeggios where all notes are ringing it won't sound good (it will have tracking issues like an analog octaver). At least it won't sound good like the Whammy5 does in "classic" mode (and "chords" mode as well).
Well I guess it doesn't have that Quintessence algorithm so, if you set the 3 or 4 semitones, it's ok to play a diminished or augmented scale; but if you play a major scale you will get "wrong" notes in the chosen pitches (not very musical). So you can't just play any note; you need to choose your notes carefully. Please make a Polyphonic Quintessence.

Where can I find a list of all of the parameters that can be edited via the TonePrint application, for example maximum delay length, filter type etc.? They are not in the manual, why?
It doesn't do this out of the box, the smallest interval it offers is a whole step. It can be configured by downloading the toneprint app, connecting to the device, and building a half-step setting for one of the custom slots.
Is it possible to set the guitar tuning to 1/2 step down with the brainwaves? Can someone explain that to me? TC Electronic said “Yes” in my question but I didn’t think they understood my point.
But the answer is yes! In the TonePrint Editor you can set your custom interval to be one semitone, set the pedal completely wet and, boom, you're in Eb tuning :-)
TC Electronic Got the pedal and opened the Tone Print software in my computer. You guys must be kidding. In a era of intuitive apps you make an impossible program. I tried to make a simple Eb tune (half step down) and tried it for about 20min and just had no ideia what each parameter was doing. Brainwaves is a pitch shifter, so should have at least a simple knob called “pitch” or “tune” to make the changes.
