London Buses 1987-London Transport Routemasters at Oxford Circus

It's November 1987 and i'm in the heart of Central London, at Oxford Circus. We see AEC engined RM & RML's on routes 6, 8, 12, 13, 15, 16A, 25, 53, 73, 88, 137 & 159. If you liked the video please subscribe to my channel, there are lots more transport & quirky vids to upload!

Glad you got the numbers of these RM's. I was on leave from the french army in January '88 and took the last week of RM's on the 53 from Plumstead Common to Parliament Square. Still have the Gibson ticket. They were looking a bit tired here. Many saw further work with other operators and many preserved. Love them in their original LT livery. The sights and sounds of London was filled with the AEC or Leyand engine from these great vehicles.
