Nice selection! That grand corner entrance at Waterloo was until relatively recently just an open hole that the wind used to whip through, known as "Pneumonia Corner" for many years.
When I was in the RN and used to travel from HMS Collingwood to Hatfield by Southdown Coaches, the wait for a train from Hatfield to Peterborough seemed interminablel. I think there was a pub just outside the station entrance useful when there was snow on the ground.
How's about that for synchronicity? You post this footage of the Class 20s and within an hour the driver posts a view from the cab (I presume that's you on the bridge): ua-cam.com/video/uU66Bth5Slo/v-deo.html.
Yes, i was there with a friend who was taking photos..... Funnily enough, 25 years ago, i used to sign the road along here and all along the MML to Leicester..... happy days!
Great to see class 20s still chugging about.
Local ring-necked parakeets trying to compete vocally with the incoming 20s at 3:00. Thanks for the film.

Very nice upload🎉🎉🎉🎉
I can be seen filming the class 20s on this upload here at 40 seconds in ua-cam.com/video/uU66Bth5Slo/v-deo.html
I used to use Hatfield station on occasion when I was at the Uni of H. It was a right dump. I much preferred Welwyn G.C.
glad to hear that class 345 as the successor of 72/73 even a/c/d/ and more of the old generation of tube stocks in terms of the motor sound

It would be nice to see a passenger service restored to the Dudding Hill line, but don't hold your breath!
I’ve never seen a 12 car Networker before, thought 10 was max formed of 465 465 and 466?
