i want to turn my 2001 ford f150 into a fummins so bad. im still researching what i need to do to get it ready to drop in a 4bt.
My 2004 f150 needs a dose of that!
About 7 yrs ago I put a new motor in my 2000 n my brother said to put the diesel n I c now Y . 👍

There's no simple answer to this really. The truck was a 5 year project just to make it driveable. If it's done simple and built right I'm sure it could be done in a few months and last a long time. I don't think the owner is on Facebook much but I'll tell him about it

What year is the truck? i have a 2001 and it has 217k miles on it and I would like to do a swap when the 5.4 gas gusler that is in it gives out.

Andrew terry, di young do the swap? I have a 2002 f150 5.4 I'm looking to get a cummins swap and have been trying to find someone's to do it. I already have my straight axle conversion on 1 tons planned out just searching for someone to do the cummins swap.
robby malson I didn't do the swap initially, but I had a hand in just about everything on the truck. The axles will probably give you more trouble than the engine swap to be honest. It's pretty straight forward

Yeah I had a Button clutch in my Bronco my girl burnt that thing to where there was smoke rolling out from it and it still pulled like a champ

@@tarheelnation_561 that clutch has been in the truck for years. We pulled a .030" shim out one time and it was perfect again

And a challenger with 718 hp at the tires.... that can do a 3rd gear burnout at 70 mph.....

@@futurefunds9353 If you really build classic cars he probably has a high gear in the rear end and a Granny gear for 1st so 3rd is the best way to get some good tire speed up but O wait a minute you should already know that what am I saying I'm beating a Dead Horse LMAO HAHAHAHAHAHAH
