I bought one these and if you haven't figured it out, the hood has loop portions of Velcro on both sides, they tuck into the hook Velcro on each side of the jacket in a pocket near the collar so that the hood connects as you zip it up

people don't take into account with heated outerwear, the more layers underneath the less effective they become. They should be snug

Does the hood have strings to tighten? Are you able to to feel the heat in the collar well?
The hood does not have any strings to tighten but you can still feel the heated collar which does work well
How do you turn off this jack? So doesn’t use any power life?
You just hold down the power button until the light goes out
