I just opened UA-cam to look up how to answer the why this school essay and this video was first in my recommended!! Perfect timing!! (Also 3 of the schools I am applying to were in the description!!)
quality over quantity my friends instead of a list of random things pick 1 or 2 things that really interest you that u can talk about w passion at whatever school and always make a meaningful personal connection back to and be specific, the more specific and niche u are, the better if possible, talk about how maybe one or both of those things will benefit the school if u attend good luck!!

The uni I am applying to has 5 different options to choose from for these supplemental essays. "Why us ?" is one of them but there is also another option to write about my strategy to solve an issue and i think i can do better on later but i don't have much idea on HOW to write that whereas for the "why us" essay, well your vid is so helpful. So, I am confused. Which one do you think is a better choice ? Plus, do uni prefer "why us" essay to other essays ?
I'm applying to michigan's general school, so is it ok that I talked about how I have a lot of different passions and that michigan general school values the exploration of many different topics at that school? Most of my essay is about their colleges opportunities and not a ton about me but the date is in two days and I cant really change it

It seems like this is for much longer essays, how about for ones that are limited to 150 words?
Focus on 1-3 ideas. IDEA FOCUS. Don't confuse me with too much in a little space. Cut the backstory or cut it to one line.
