    Ffffffffire! That lighter was out of gas for a reason. I'm sure it ran out during rehersal and has nothing to do with the BBQ grill and melted soffit. :D

    Thanks Jay! I saw something earlier stating polyiso does not do well below 50° which is baffling considering every flat roof I’ve ever been on uses it for insulation. Can you elaborate? This was a video where the lady was explaining the differences between EPS, XPS, and polyiso. I’m going to insulate my pole barn and came across a large quantity so wanted to Se what the deal is with it.

      ASTM C1289-22 allows for use of polyiso down to -40 F/C (negative forty). Should work fine everywhere except perhaps northern Alaska and the Arctic and Antarctica.

    type 1 class 1 is the ONLY polyiso "sitting on the shelf" up here in the Adirondacks
