    Nice one Andy ... mate of mines front wheel came out going down mastiles , smashed his teeth out and knocked himself out and had to be airlifted to hospital.. luckily he wasnt that good looking to start with so no harm done !!

    Looks amazing on a dry day. i did part of this route on a rainy day and it was not as fun as I thought it would. Super slippery on the grass and mud. I definitely need to come back on a nice sunny day.

      That Weets top grass section is horrible after a spell of wet weather

    Looks ace, you should do a van video showing its progress.

    Perfect day, perfect loop. Fast and flowing - just as we like 'em. We did it anti-clockwise but no doubt it is just as good tother way round.

      You did it the best way. Clockwise like the vid is ok. But more climbs.

    Great video as always Andy and awesome riding in the Yorkshire Dalles with beautiful weather too, its done nothing but rain for what seems like ages in this neck of the woods
    , I have the Garmin edge explore and find it an awesome piece of kit, not the same battery life but I find it lasts a five hour ride with some life left in it so it suits me fine, I lost count how many times I got lost in the Peak District before I had it with one of them on kinder Scout in a thick fog so a life saver really, why is it that walkers always seem to part down the middle leaving us with a tiny gap to squeeze through, really gets my goat

      Thanks mate. I couldn’t do the rides I do without this Garmin. Sat nav for the bike. Brilliant. Yeah those walkers were in no rush to get out the way. They had plenty of notice. They were nice though. So all good

      I couldn’t do what I do either without the Garmin because I have a rubbish sense of direction, don’t get me started with walkers, they have more footpaths than we have bridleways and byeways and they still have to walk on these bridleways and byeways and to add insult to injury walk like twats, rant over mate, awesome video 🤘

    Love your vids Andy. Any chance you could do a video on how to set-up and use that Garmin. Thinking of getting one myself.

    A quick one Andy, which maps do you use on the Garmin? I'm looking for mapping for my (new to me) 810...also tan wall Nobby Nic....I run them too 👌

    Lovely video as always mate. Sounds like you've been busy with the van too - you not tempted by the view magnet that is Vanlife Conversion? I thought about it, filming myself chucking a chamber pot and a dirty sleeping bag in the back of the Volvo but I don't reckon anyone would be convinced 😃

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks mate. I’ll just stick to ride videos😂. Although on my last ride I did film the inside of my van. I was making a brew using my shithouse as a table , while watching one of your videos on my new tele I’ve installed. True story that. I’ll keep it in the edit 😂😂 so look out for my Horton in ribblesdale vid 😂😂

    • @TrailFinder
      @TrailFinder  3 роки тому

      Hi Nik. Someone mentioned this the other day. And I’m very interested in trying a 32 oval. Think it be right up my street

    • @nikpepper894
      @nikpepper894 3 роки тому

      @@TrailFinder I decided to try a 30T oval after quite a while of deliberation. I can't say I see them used by the majority. Never put the question out there before & wondered if it was considered as bordering on cheating to a degree.
      I must say after getting used to it I like it.

    My heart sank there for a second when you rang your bell and they seemed to ignore it, then they turn around, I thought you were in for some abuse. 😧

    • @TrailFinder

      They didn’t make it easy did they!! They were nice though.
      One of the reasons I don’t ride footpaths and only ride bridleways. No Walker has a leg to stand on giving me any trouble.
      Slow right down. Be polite. That’s all we can do as mountain bikers. Thanks for your comment 😁
