Would love a DQ500 on my turbo 2GR but they are hard to find second hand in NZ. The DQ250 is common enough but won't handle high boost. Can't beat the speed these shift!
Bad video for sure! Impossible to not be 100% straight, due to the method of alignment. Infact, it won't even go into the gearbox if it's more than 2 degrees off. So snug are my splines!
Hi, all my dsg adaption kits require the use oem dualmass flywheels, for a few reasons. Mainly because the clutch baskets don't like lightweight flywheel, and unsprung flywheels. I can do a custom lightweight sprung flywheel for those who dare to take the risk. PM me

Yes you can. But you will need to fit the transfer case as well. Then add the rear diff later.

The dq500 is very easy to find in AU. And great prices also. Vw Tiguan or Q3 is the one to look for. Or I'll send you a box from SA!

Does this kit require any cutting on transmission side or the block?
Also does the engine angle change like with the awd kit?
No there is no trimming required. No angle change either.

It doesn't look like you had to cut anything to get this to work? I circle back to your work every few months for my mr2.
No cutting on the block at all for 2wd application.
@SuperDrivetrainSolutions very cool, dq500 makes alot of sense for my car. I think I made around 700 ft lbs so dq500 would hold that without a sweat.
