To all the people talking shit about Knee not ducking: SSL~B is the superior option select against Heihachi, you avoid almost all of his mids as well as hellsweep and db2. Generic d4 will hit you but who gives a shit about taking 9 pts of damage into disadvantage for the player landing the d4. Hei's fF3 is safe on block at -3 into OC and will take over half life with a TA!. Random ducking against Heihachi will get you killed. You don't simply throw out linear low crushing moves either against the player with the best movement in the world.
Softym this guy knows the real deal
all these people claiming that they can beat these guys you all probably cant even get a brawler rank online
I'm ok but on a bad day I'll always get demoted so I'm not even a brawler yet... I'm am not like these guys they would kill me in a few seconds
I got Vanquisher double mishimas lol
axel somers lol I know right, but everybody feel like the shit once they get there first green belt
I can barely crack Disciple and I'm pretty good at combos, but that's about it xD
axel somers Highest i got was Puglist cant get past the rank better tricksters out there
13:19 ryan hart asking jdcr to shake hands with knee ,loooooool
If you know the deepness of this game, this isn't boring at all. The Korean style of play of Tekken is the most successful. It may not be flashy, but you got to respect how technically knowledgeable they are of the game. Legendary Green Arcade.
I had read on some Korean interview(translated in English) about Knee not using Bryan in tag 2 and Knee said that tag 2 had side stepping way OP and hence mishimas were the best bet against a good defensive player like Jdcr. However knee said, the use of tagging and countering tags was much better done by jdcr and hence he won. :) hope that clears up the confusion.
Wow how insightful and thank you for the info :)
cool
Maybe😀
Thanks for your insight, very clever take from jdcr's perspective
It's amazing. This is such a different game from Tekken 7. Jdcr's timing seems almost super human
@IM In every way.
The core of Tekken 7 functions and is Tekken... but the direction the series continually seems to be going is concerning. Sure it's a game, but I'm glad I got to experience Tekken Tag 2 & it's community.
@@im48678how? It’s literally just tekken 7 with tag
@@ylobenzTTT2 had better movement for everyone and not exclusively for a few waifus who break the game. Never liked Rage Arts either. The tag mechanics I loved.
I played TTT2 since it came out I was so rubbish for problems over a year , then slowly you get better , you go through stages of getting better at certain things in the game , When u put hours into the game and you actually become a decent player. You'll appreciate TEKKEN , Just keep on trying don't give it up
Ross Parry that really motivates, ty :D
Thanks
Thx
Ty
so true. had a similar story with t7. it would be nice if this rule REALLY work in real life :( #whenyoutryyourbestbutyoudon'tsucceed
it's unsettling how strong JDCR is. American play majin lost 3-0 to knee. Then knee lost 3-0 to jdcr wow.
Then majin won against JDCR
Then majin won against jdcr like what is this rock, paper, scissor bs
@@aileenamador3747 mate this is tag 2 where mishimas dominated and armour king was a good character
Not saying majin is bad
Just that tag 2 was a different era compare to t7
@@rewoperomdeeni5340 I know I was making a joke from the comment above and I played heihachi and kazuya alot in ttt2
@@aileenamador3747 oh guess im too dumb to have understand your joke lmao sorry
The movement in this is so nice.
And I thought my bro and I had intense matches in Tekken 6
Vincent Vega that’s just straight up racist
Who asked
@XUaiT I like racist
😂
XD
People who claim they could beat those competitors definitely never studied frame data and hitboxes. They don't realize how technical those players actually are...
That's why this game is so good so much better than then tekken 7
@@2hot4u68 the movement in this game was fantastic.
@@Rortaa everything about this game is top notch. The only gripe I have is too many clone teams. Unnecessary to add violet, Sébastien, slim Bob or Tiger.
@@2hot4u68 100% agree with you there. The online was pretty good too!
Character balance didn't seem bad either, I feel many characters only required small buffs or so to compete with top tiers but other than that you could play whoever you wanted
@@Rortaa yup. Even Aris said that ttt2 was the most balanced 3d fighting game ever due to the insanely large cast. Luv ttt2 so much. Its a masterpiece
This match was an instant classic.
The way they are playing looks simple but thats just a result of them having respect for each other. They are top players.
Uhhh what looks "simple" about the way they're playing?
James Summers I was a scrub when I typed this lol.
WarithHajjMusic Lol! I feel ya, man.
James Summers the fact that they are playing more footsies and taking less risks is what he was referring to. Nothing too flashy. Just straight up good fundamentals
WarithHajjMusic ahahahahaha
JDCR and Knee are my top 2 favorite players. Looking forward to watch you guys again.
Man i remember watching this on repeat when i was 10,
Battle of Gods. I wish I took Tekken seriously during the tag 2 era
I did and it was extremely stressful. Tekken 7 is garbage though. Took be damn near 3 years to get Genbu on Tag 2 and now everyone's true tekken god in 7 and they play like beginners
@@xsorakazamax7522 ikr..
@@xsorakazamax7522 what?🤣🤣
@Tcb bct it isnt tho but ppl have their own opinions so i could care less
@Tcb bct again its your opinion idgaf my dude and t7 did justice with its competitive scene the customization looks good and i love the characters it may be garbage 2 u but i really enjoy it does that bother u?
JDCR was so good they had to nerf his fundamentals (side stepping) in the next game, and give everybody insane tracking moves...i wonder if knee, had went to the developers and asled for such nerfs..
3:10
how do I make this exchange on xbox 360?
still watching in 2020, tag 2 the best
Same here
Agree
this should be on pc
Imagine non tekken players looking at a half devil, jaguar man and a caveman with spikey hair thinking "at least this kazuya guy looks normal" then he transforms into the literal devil
everybody says they could beat these two easily, i think not. you all probably think "uhh i'll just use a power move and kill them", it doesn't always work like that you idiots, these two are quick, precise fighters. as soon as you try to use a power move, they will rush in and take the lead on you. you people can think you will be all that, but really, i doubt it. this was a great match, CafeID Knee has the same team and strategy i use(well try to), it was good to see him battle, both of you guys are winners in my book, gg
i would beat them easy. King and ling would run through them
O you shut up I dare them to challenge me if they have the guts
What is a power move?
True tekken god me i can still beat them
Hi
For some one who wants to play tekken for the first time, is it easier to play on stick, pad, or is there a bit of middle ground? plz respond
Sick game
1. Tekken tag tournament
2. Tekken tag 2
Best two games in the series hands down.
Tekken 6 was also pretty cool than trash tekken 7
I loved being able to turn devil on command in this game
You can still do it in tekken 7 if you have rage
@@mathewbrigman5592 yea but in tag 2 you could do it at will and even transform back to normal
it was the times when freeing in grabs are like capturing the speef of light and pressing the right buttons to unlock them like a c4
My boy jdcr was unbeatable at that time in tag 2
They fight a lot in Green Arcade too. They've had lots of death matches with each other going back and forth of demoting the other. Also met in Tekken Crash a lot in semis and finals before it get remodeled into Busters.
Think about it this way; many of these players have played against each other countless times and thus strong rivalries (friendly ones) have developed. So, if anything, you owe it to your opponent to give it your all and play the character that you have the most success with. And for many people, that's the high-tiered characters.
"They used to go to the same hair dresser but know longer" hahaha couldn't stop laughing XD
I have just watched two different videos with each one winning different championships. This is gonna be good.
With what prior fighting skill or experience?
7:44 - 7:57 , a mixture of low and special low about 10 times. So dirty, so clean.
If you’re watching this set, know that you’re awesome
You are awesome!
Has this been sped up slightly? the audio sounds like it's slightly pitched
How do you make a rash tag?
"face down ass up thats the way we like to tech roll!" nice one xD
how do you get good at combos?
fight lab
Research, practice, and real-time experimenting
jimmu_Inthelight the experimentation is all of the fun, and it’s part of the challenge. I didn’t know Jin had a hidden style when he’s paired up with the Mishimas (which, at the moment, kind of made me question whether or not his prologue in Tekken 4 was being followed) but it turns out he absolutely does. What’s the fun in playing against something that bares no challenge to you?
When im playing offline mode with someone how come the score isnt kept by???? Cuz now I have to mesmerise the win/lose ..
how can i participate in this tournament?
Knee had that mad mod cut
JDCR is legendary.
Noob question how does one roll out of a juggle? Or whats best way to get out of a juggle.
Can you give me tips on uploading hq vids on Tekken? I want to start uploading quality vids.. thanks!
Gotta admit, Heihachi kept both DJ and kaz overpowered. Was kinda sad to see them taking so much lower damage too. or maybe he got confused.
Great match.
I stopped playing Tekken around T5 been a fan of it since the 90's but I need to get back to it though.
the movement looks so good
is it sped up?
+YangSing1 No, the movement these guys have just makes it look that way. Theyre just that good.
This is a really great set.
All these guys saying "Im better than them" is this the first time you see them? Because if it is, you definetly can't judge them at all.
True, definetly not one of Knee's best fights, he isn't even using his real team. He still got to the grand finals, what about you? Could you beat over 15 people using a character you don't even know?
He is not a plain asian guy you think he is. HE'S THE FUCKING EVO 2013 CHAMPION
is there gonna be another tournament
en que pais fue esto?
JDCR at his best always dominates Knee.
These guys are very good.
Name Less They wouldn't be alive if they didn't have one.
+Euryginal Scr why not join a tournament and see
If you could beat them up quick you'd be the best Tekken player in the world, uncontested
Well considering these 2 are considered gods in tekken. I'd like to watch you fight them
Name Less And if you fight a boxer your gonna get knocked the fuck out. What's your point?
how do you do that min 4:10
Cual es el premio?
Never thought knee looks like this way back
I started playing tekken 2 days ago and now i don't feel like trying.
Everybody who is not Korean feels like that. Ive been playing actively since 2009 and still feel the same way. But winning doesnt feel better at any other game. Just ask me if you want some basic tips for becoming better fast.
Keep in mind these guys have been playing for years, probably for hours upon hours a day. Everyone has to start somewhere...
are u shit or is it cause its boring
when I posted I was shit but over time i have gotten better
kk
How do you do the "chicken" parry move at 4:15?
4:11 actually
I know this is late but in case you are still wondering depending n if you use a left or right move you have to buffer up a command when you anticipate your opponent is gonna use a parry on you. If a left move is parried you have to buffer f+1+3 (Forward+square+X) and in the case of right moves f+2+4 (Forward+triangle+circle.) The timing must be so precise it is impossible to do on reaction, so you have to anticipate your opponent doing the parry. (More info at www x tekkenzaibatsu x com/tekkentag/system_chicken.php) Remove the x's and add dots. I hope this was helpful.
Why do they have the timers?????
this is how tekken should be played so awesome
I miss this atmosphere of Tekken and gaming in general
With 2012 Faze on the rise
I'm playing tekken since Tekken 1. I really play this like a pro, because i know this very well. I'm a enthusiast of fighting games. But i respect your oppinion.
Wich game is better to buy? Tekken Tag Tournament Or Tekken 6?
Wowwww knee looked way different lol
yeah this is the time when knee is very shy whenever he's streaming in arcade he doesn't talk much but now he's different he's more talkative to his fans in chat
So is he called Knee because he eats every single low? :I
Lol. This.
Zyrus Smith Is Sparta?
he cant risk it,heihachi has killer mids and ducking is the least u wanna do against hei
+Tekken Zaibatsu Sandakan While this is a fairly valid point:
- AK's mids are definitely not as dangerous
- Looking back at this match after almost a year, Knee just seems to get himself trapped by a thought similar to yours and let JDCR prey on it. I know it was in heat of the moment and everything, but you just have to take risks if your opponent is this much more comfortable.
CANT LOW PARRY?
is this the latest tekken game, i wanna buy the latest game, so is this it because it looks awesome or is there one than came out after this, thank you for any feedback
The two guys have been playing for a long, long time; both are top players in Korea, and they have fought a few times also in the Tekken Busters event.
Amazing Match
+Tia Sp yeah, but ryan hart vs roo kang is better
they must have fast ass reaction times irl
please send me it's download link
Knee and JDCR is probably worlds greatest tekken players. Its a pleasure to watch them fight.
My God and i thought tekken 7 was hard, imagine mastering 2 characters and using them once in a match.
LA W don’t you have like a secondary main? I thought everyone have that?
Relios he means you use you different move sets in one match
capos exist
Its actually easy enough, specially when you start to learn about tag combos
Love TEKKEN!
"face down ass up, that's how we like to tech roll" 😂
how do you chicken?
You buffer forward and the buttons that correspond to what side the move is when you think they will reversal f+RP+RK or f+LP+LK
Oh my god knee looks so cute in this one lol
I love the stages in this game a lot more than tekken 7
So whats the history between JDCR and CafeID ??
How does one enter this Tournament? This is awesome
this is what my brother plays every day
Your brother, I like him.
Elite class TEKKEN
man nice matches and great commentary.
It is. Both these players are maximizing their damage, sidestepping, moving and punishing at the utmost level. This is how Tekken is meant to be played.
4:12 holy shit!
what happened there
What's so great about 4:12?
Corbin Jones It counters his counter. Otherwise known as a chicken. very hard to pull of.
He could have finished it with a combo though.
No he couldnt of. He wouldve got caught in the counter.
I always come back to enjoy some peak Tekken.
I agree. I find I enjoy Tag 2 more than 7.
Tekken Tag was the Best!
@@jonathanharwood1255 YES
Wow. Such flawless play by both players.
how times have changed... RIP Tekken
I am dumbfounded by your profound insight, sir. I pale in the dazzling brilliance of your intellect.
The commentators are awesome.
I think it comes down to preference, It's easier to do button combos ( like kings grabs, 10 hits, ect...) with stick but that doesn't make stick cheap to me. Most of the arcade cabinets come with controller ports and if the developers intended for you to play with just sticks then the game would never come out for consoles and tournaments would only be on arcade.
Why they were at same stage all time?
JDCR and KNEE Grand Finals Amazing Marvelous
the spacing :O
@@getgoing581 used to anyway
jcdr is amayzing holy sht
Literally jump out of my bed when knee did that fff3 which cost him the matchb
So why does Knee lose in every tournament final that I watch?
Legendary battles
One of the best TTT2 events of our time.
@@teamspooky I watched this like 6 years ago but I didn't even play tekken until last year. This game was basically what started it all for me and some other I imagine
JDCR totally bashed up Knee there. Knee get's a lot of hype because he was the dogs on T5 and one of the strongest on T6, but JDCR has been putting in the hours and grafting hard and now I'd easily place him as world number 1.
keep in mind though that TTT2 makes it considerably easier to lock in very high-damage combos than in T6 or T5. Knee's hype has been well-earned.
yeah hope to see them at 2014 EVO grand finals...
Devon Hansen Knee started losing to Jdcr since Tekken 6 tho against his Armor King, watch WCG
THAT EVADE AT 0:42 GREATNESS !!
Most fighting games are hype...hell I know absolutely zero about KoF, but that one fight with Bala coming back was freakin awesome. I also don't understand any crap with SF, but that's sick just watching players who've mastered the game is amazing...and Tekken is no different. I love this game and watching the Koreans play just amazes me and this fight was pretty good because if you watched these two before...you know that they have incredible skill at this game. GGs!
