    To all the people talking shit about Knee not ducking: SSL~B is the superior option select against Heihachi, you avoid almost all of his mids as well as hellsweep and db2. Generic d4 will hit you but who gives a shit about taking 9 pts of damage into disadvantage for the player landing the d4. Hei's fF3 is safe on block at -3 into OC and will take over half life with a TA!. Random ducking against Heihachi will get you killed. You don't simply throw out linear low crushing moves either against the player with the best movement in the world.

    If you know the deepness of this game, this isn't boring at all. The Korean style of play of Tekken is the most successful. It may not be flashy, but you got to respect how technically knowledgeable they are of the game. Legendary Green Arcade.

    I had read on some Korean interview(translated in English) about Knee not using Bryan in tag 2 and Knee said that tag 2 had side stepping way OP and hence mishimas were the best bet against a good defensive player like Jdcr. However knee said, the use of tagging and countering tags was much better done by jdcr and hence he won. :) hope that clears up the confusion.

    Think about it this way; many of these players have played against each other countless times and thus strong rivalries (friendly ones) have developed. So, if anything, you owe it to your opponent to give it your all and play the character that you have the most success with. And for many people, that's the high-tiered characters.

      I know this is late but in case you are still wondering depending n if you use a left or right move you have to buffer up a command when you anticipate your opponent is gonna use a parry on you. If a left move is parried you have to buffer f+1+3 (Forward+square+X) and in the case of right moves f+2+4 (Forward+triangle+circle.) The timing must be so precise it is impossible to do on reaction, so you have to anticipate your opponent doing the parry. (More info at www x tekkenzaibatsu x com/tekkentag/system_chicken.php) Remove the x's and add dots. I hope this was helpful.

      +Tekken Zaibatsu Sandakan While this is a fairly valid point:
      - AK's mids are definitely not as dangerous
      - Looking back at this match after almost a year, Knee just seems to get himself trapped by a thought similar to yours and let JDCR prey on it. I know it was in heat of the moment and everything, but you just have to take risks if your opponent is this much more comfortable.

    It is. Both these players are maximizing their damage, sidestepping, moving and punishing at the utmost level. This is how Tekken is meant to be played.

    I think it comes down to preference, It's easier to do button combos ( like kings grabs, 10 hits, ect...) with stick but that doesn't make stick cheap to me. Most of the arcade cabinets come with controller ports and if the developers intended for you to play with just sticks then the game would never come out for consoles and tournaments would only be on arcade.

    JDCR totally bashed up Knee there. Knee get's a lot of hype because he was the dogs on T5 and one of the strongest on T6, but JDCR has been putting in the hours and grafting hard and now I'd easily place him as world number 1.

    • @devonhansen7705
      @devonhansen7705 10 років тому +3

      keep in mind though that TTT2 makes it considerably easier to lock in very high-damage combos than in T6 or T5. Knee's hype has been well-earned.

    Most fighting games are hype...hell I know absolutely zero about KoF, but that one fight with Bala coming back was freakin awesome. I also don't understand any crap with SF, but that's sick just watching players who've mastered the game is amazing...and Tekken is no different. I love this game and watching the Koreans play just amazes me and this fight was pretty good because if you watched these two before...you know that they have incredible skill at this game. GGs!
