Let this be a lesson for drone flyers, DON"T FLY IT NEAR HELICOPTERS! last year roughly around 13 helicopters that were fighting a forest fire, had to be immediately grounded. all because someone wanted a "nice" shot of the fire... almost lost 30 houses including mine if they continued flying the drone. so don't cry if your 2k drone is destroyed by a pissed off firefighter and police unit. (I know this is a show, but it still grinds my gears)
Hey, people can be really stupid.
There's very few areas in cities where you can actually fly a drone so you can avoid situations like this. This is also one of (many) reason's why Amazon's drone delivery system didn't quite work out.
And it is perfectly legal to shoot down drones depending on the circumstance.

Firefighters are meant to do that. They never know how much force they need to use so they always tell you to cover your eyes in case they need to break something down.

I also feel for the kid. Yes it was stupid to fly the drone in that area, but he didn't mean to cause the helicopter to crash or for anyone to get hurt.

There are instructions that drones are not allowed to fly over buildings. That they can only go so high incase they cause accidents like this. Says in the box when my brother go one.

Just a huge accident. When that kid was saying sorry like that, it hit me hard ngl
remember guys, fly your drones low enough from any other air vehicle altitude that you will have your own airspace. i suggest 51 or 52 feet on average drone piloting.
FAA requires you to check with local towers. Literally download and read your local air map if you're flying anything about 20 feet, depending on where you live you could break the law if you don't check.
@Tristen Burkhardt What is your point? Real drones can hit actual aircraft taking off/landing or in rare cases flying low. Usually, these cases occur at Heathrow, I saw the airport shut down many times due to these drones, and sometimes, planes actually hit them.

A kid was stupidly flying a drone too high and it collided with the helicopter, resulting in it crushing. It actually was not the pilots fault, but the kids - the pilot had little time to react since it would've occurred in a mere few seconds.

im hella late but im thinking what if they use the firetruck ladder to push up against the nose of the heli to try and keep it stable?
not strong enough that heli's potential energy at that angle would push the whole truck away in a heartbeat with as much as a nudge plus the ladders made out of aluminium so it'd bend.

Anybody know how I can get caught up on the past few seasons of this show without buying it? Amazon video only has it available to purchase and NBC and Hulu apps only have about 3 episodes from season 7 and 8. Help please! I miss this show
