I had this care in powder blue. Loved the front end lighting.
76-77 are the best years for these cars.
Seriously...this Pontiac should be in a museum...quality.
I had this exact car in High School in the mid 80’s. Great times! Mine was the same color inside and out and I didn’t have the center console either but that definitely had it’s advantages on date night! I loved this car but it was a constant battle to keep it from rusting.
Very good story...
Equivalent to my 1977 Buick Regal... SAME color inside and out.
And SAME dating experience in my teens. Cool story about two "first cousin" GM platform vehicles 😎
The Pontiac was founded in 1926-2010 for 84 years R.I.P. Pontiac (1926-2010) 🚘 😞
RIP Pontiac (1926-2010) 😞 🚘
Beautiful car. This music does not match at all, what the heck
I drove one for a summer, the bosses car. Shifter was between the seats, and it had t-tops.
Nice. . . . Almost as beautiful as its first cousin ('76-'77 Buick Regal).
Damn beautiful Pontiac....Grand Prix
Nice car but not having the center console shifter kills it for me.
I agree. The console makes the car. I wonder if someone could find a console and seats in a salvage yard and have them redone? Hard to find ones with the console in them in good shape. A lot of these cars the dash is cracked too
Why did they even think it.. My 1971 Firebird had a column shift..Great car except for that. It's like putting tits on a bull..just doesn't belong.
Couldn't agree more as I owned one brand new with every option. It had white interior and white pinstriping.. I always said it had a big car ride with sports car handling. loved the hell out of that car. Have owned a lot of cars and some real classics but this was my favorite.
The History Of Pontiac (1926-2010) Pontiac Was Founded In 1926 But is get defunct in 2010 For 84 Years R.I.P. Pontiac (1926-2010) 🚘 😞
My Dad working at the St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada General Motors Plant 1964 to 1993 had the 1976 Black LJ one of these from the Autumn 1975 to the Spring 1990. Drove it through 43 States, 5 Provinces and in Mexico near the United States Border at Tijuana-San Diego, area on Spring Vacation in 1976.
I had a '73 Grand Prix. Dad bought it new in September '72. 400 CID V8, center console, power everything, "African Crossfire" mohogany dash inserts. Started to rust in 3 years, highway gas milage mid teens, the AC was problematic, ate oil, and by the time it was 6 years old, busted camshaft. But very cool none the less-
The Pontiac 80th Anniversary in 2006 🎊 🚙
Did they have a model that had a t- top?
Nice car, but why no repair on the torn drivers side seat? I hope you are prepared to take off for that.
That beauty is gone but check out our other beautiful Grand Prix www.gatewayclassiccars.com/search_result.php?sort=year&location=&make=Pontiac&model=Grand+Prix
Very nice
Dang! I live in Chicago and this was my high school car. Too bad I saw this ad 2 years too late.
damn quit moving the camera around so fast! I really wanted to take this car in but its all motion sickness
GM made a mistake when they quit making the Pontiac. RIP Pontiac. And soon to be defunct car Maker.
If your going to sell it fix the drivers seat!!!!!!

455 last year was 76 only Bicentennial grandprix got the 455 they usually came with the 400 350 or the base model was the 301 starting in 77 I should say the 301 had good pickup but after about 60 miles an hour and I started dog and out that were toilet Motors the end of the American Muscle era well really just gas hog era
All boat anchors after 1970
3000.00
All that glamor, and the seat torn? Really
The Sesame Street music gets annoying after a while. And yes, a little slower with the camera, please
That's not a Grand Prix. I don't care what they call it. After 73 the name should have been retired.
No. It is, in fact, a Grand Prix.
Nice car, but the stance is all wrong, should not be jacked up in the back end, looks dumb that way.
That song sucks!
music sucks
