- IT'S TIME! Well, actually a little past time. Sweet potatoes are ready to be dug at 100-125 days, we were over that quite a bit. Since we were very dry and hadn't had much rain, the ground in the garden was like concrete! However, we got two rains the last couple of weeks and that helped loosen the soil. We hope you enjoy our first row of digging sweet potatoes and the videos to come of the other rows!

Nice job y'all. Throw a couple ci Der blocks on the rear and it will help as well changing the pitch of the plow. Of course a wider plow would help. Great job.
Thanks for watching! That is good idea. I thought with the wheel weights it would be heavy enough, but some extra weight would help. I think I may also try to lower the plow before next year.
Wow, now that is nice .yeah, i was thinking if your tool did go deeper, mybe under ground kinda, and that would flip them up. Great video.

Very nice amount of sweet potatoes so far. I have a tiny 4 x 4 section of them planted (asian variety) but they went in late, so I will keep them in the ground probably for another couple of week.
