- From Abu Sa'eed al-Khudri, who said: "Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the night of Jumu'ah, will have a light that will stretch between him and the Ancient House (the Ka'bah)."
(Narrated by al-Daarimi, 3407. This hadeeth was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami, 6471)

"Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu'ah, will have a light that will shine from him from one Friday to the next."
(Narrated by al-Haakim, 2/399; al-Bayhaqi, 3/249. Ibn Hajar said in Takhreej al-Adhkaar that this is a hasan hadeeth, and he said, this is the strongest report that has been narrated concerning reading Soorat al-Kahf. See: Fayd al-Qadeer, 6/198. It was classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami', 6470)

It was narrated that Ibn 'Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: "The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: 'Whoever reads Soorat al-Kahf on the day of Jumu'ah, a light will shine for him from beneath his feet to the clouds of the sky, which will shine for him on the Day of Resurrection, and he will be forgiven (his sins) between the two Fridays.'"
Al-Mundhiri said, this was narrated by Abu Bakr ibn Mardawayh in his Tafseer, with an isnaad with which there was nothing wrong.

The soorah may be read during the night or the day of Jumu'ah. The night of Jumu'ah starts from sunset on Thursday, and the day of Jumu'ah ends at sunset. Therefore the time for reading this soorah extends from sunset on Thursday to sunset on Friday.
Al-Mannaawi said:
Al-Haafiz ibn Hajar said in his Amaali: "In some reports it says 'the day of Jumu'ah' and in some reports it says 'the night of Jumu'ah'. They may be reconciled by saying that what is meant is the day which includes the night and vice versa." (Fayd al-Qadeer, 6/199)

People Please Don't Post Of What Surah You Are On And How Old Or Anything Because Arabic teachers and headteachers did like hadiths and sunnah but then at the end they said for the people who say in social media "Oh, I Memorized whole Qur'an" people will say mashallah but in the day of judgement he will be in hell fire then the person says to Allah "I've memorized whole Qur'an and Pray All The Time" Allah Says That He Wasn't Doing It In His Sake, He Was Attention Seeking Because He Told People That He Memorized Qur'an And They Got Impressed But Even If He Says He Is Doing It For Sake Of Allah He Still Goes To Hellfire So Careful People, May Allah Protect Us From Hellfire. Anyways, Everytime recitation of every Surah of Qur'an ul Kareem is better but , especially Surah tul Kahaaf is very good to recite on friday. It is the just like protective tool, which will protect us from Fitna-tul-Dajjal. I give the message to all the muslims to recite this Surrah on every Friday.

Try to read it before maghrib on Friday as new day starts after maghrib according to Hijri day system

PLEASE people be aware of the day when we will stand in front of Allah سبحان الله تعالى and he will ask us for Who did you do this deed { Recite Quran, Give charity, Jihad and every kind of good Deed } and we all will say for you Allah, some of us will have indeed done it only for the sake and pleasure of Allah but there will be those who Allah will make known to him His favours and he will recognize them. [The Almighty] will say: And what did you do about them? He will say: I studied [religious] knowledge and I taught it and I recited the Quran for Your sake. He will say: You have lied - you did but study [religious] knowledge that it might be said [of you]: He is learned. And you recited the Quran that it might be said [of you]: He is a reciter. And so it was said. Then he will be ordered to be dragged along on his face until he is cast into Hell-fire! 💔💔😰😫🥺 (& so on with the rest i mentioned above)

Hadith about Surah al-Kahf on Friday
Light between Fridays
The Prophet Muhammad said that reading Surah al-Kahf on Friday will cause a light to shine from the reader between Fridays.
Light between the reader and the Ka'bah
Abu Sa'id al-Khudri reported that the Prophet Muhammad said that reading Surah al-Kahf on the night of Friday will cause a light to shine between the reader and the Ka'bah.
Light from the feet to the clouds
Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet Muhammad said that reading Surah al-Kahf on Friday will cause a light to shine from the reader's feet to the clouds.
Light on the Day of Resurrection
Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet Muhammad said that the light will shine on the Day of Resurrection.
Forgiveness of sins
Ibn 'Umar reported that the Prophet Muhammad said that the reader will be forgiven for their sins between Fridays.

As'Salama'laikum iquan! I try to read this every Friday! It usually takes me about 45 minutes because it took me a looooooong time to finally learn to read Arabic (STILL working on it; don't understand the meaning😥)! I'm trying to memorize this surah! I think it will take me about 2 years (busy, with work and helping my wife raise our four children), insha'Allah! I'll be 50! May Allah Subanahwa'ta'Allah increase my memory and reward me for my efforts on Yaummal Qyiama, insha'Allah! 😆

We listened to him at the top roof of Haram at Eesha prayer when there was a slow wind . At that time his voice was amazing and still in my memory.
