I like the intention you have for every object you place in your cabin. Is that the Japanese tradition of simplicity in home design? I also like your stools. The designs of your furniture keep getting more sophisticated. I can’t wait for the next project.

I love that you put so much thought into everything you build and how the details show your creativity and problem solving skills. You could forego a bar menu, and do a chalkboard that you could change out your menu as you please!
I like the stool design… they look very sturdy and strong. I still think instead of any kind of menu… you should have a NAME… for the bar. You could either paint the name on a canvas… or design one out of wood pallet material and paint it directly on the wood. The design would be the logo of the bar ( just think 🤔… once you get the logo set… you could have the logo for the bar on a beer 🍺 glass, a T-shirt… or a coffee mug. Like you already have anyway with the “ just working silently “ on it ) I would use the wood sign… you can see examples online… I was thinking of ones from around the early 1800’s here in America 🇺🇸… well… that’s what I would do… if I had a bar space in my house I already have the name and design picked out. The pallets are becoming scarcer as the cost of them goes up along with everything that is shipped on them. I live where there are mills for the boards and shops that make pallets to order. There are a lot fewer trees herecnow as fence rows are cleared to plant a few more acres. The timber of old oaks and hedge and locust is almostcall erradicated.The land that was difficul to row crop because of contours, well now they just bulldose it into terraces with drain tile. They are setting up another dustbowl in my opinion. Shortsighted and strictly profit driven they will destroy the soil of the heartland that supplies our food.
A weekly meal plan for when you are at the cabin is cool & you don't have to display it like it was the menu !!! just foods that fit in with your work & play schedule while at the cabin !!!

ですね～。前に そういった木材が 良い値段で売られてたのを見て「ハァ～ 東京って...」と思ってました。
まぁ 何につけても値段が付くのが都会なのでしょうか。(田舎なら雑草と言われる物にでも花屋に売ってたりしますよね)
そう思うと タダで手に入るというのを公表するのって 売る側にも買う側にも良く無いかもなぁってハラハラして見てましたよ。
なんて言ってる私も 田舎なのに、ワインを入れてある木箱をお金を出して買った事があります（笑）

製作をきちんと計画しない、一人で制作する、その気持ちわかります。私も別の事ですが一人で決めて、途中で変更をいつもしています。それは、やはり自分で決めて自分一人で制作しているから気楽に変更可‼️なのですよね。
