Mutual fund are the best to start with. If you want to directly buy stocks, then buy only blue chip stocks.
In my opinion lumsum is better than sip which gives more return on longterm.

Is step up SIP is better than taking 2 SIP ex. 5000 step up SIP for 20 yrs invest 34 lakhs give 1 cr total AND 2 normal SIP of 5000 for 20 yrs invest 24 lakhs and give total of same 1 cr. . . Then hiw step up better. Pls explain someone
I guess maybe the 2nd one as there will be variable option for example in the first case you can only put your money at some fixed things limited to just 5000 but for the 2nd case you can invest 10000 into many things more so yes you can play it safe by management risk strategy and play good into making 2 sip will be a better option then
