Live builds in my opinion are some of the best space engineers videos and if possible can you make a small carrier/drop ship that can hold 2-3 fighters also love your content.
My weakest point is designing ships, strong point is crashing them. You're obviously good at designing them, Ship looks good. This was a cool lil side episode in the series. Nice one
I love these live build vids. Fun to watch. And maybe you can try a live build for a cruiser? After these exploration ship videos are done?
Cruiser would take 2 hours probably, but I'll have a think! Glad you enjoyed :)

@@LunarKolony I wouldn't mind a 2 hour long video and if you were to do it, you could also cut it up into multiple parts, like you did with this one.

Wow, watching you build is an epiphany. I could never cobble something so slapdash together, I'm way too much of a perfectionist! Still though, your techniques are solid and your sense of design (especially in the LKF fleet) is impeccable.
Also: 16:50 - Something nobody wants to admit but everybody has done.

Love ship building series, pretty inspirational. I'd like to mimic "RSI Galaxy" from Star Citizen, but i'm struggle with those damned slopes :D
you can press [ctrl] + [+] to open up specialised view with build info. Pressing it more times cycles through the modes, which can be really useful. Uses include seeing the hitbox of thruster damage, seeing exactly where the sabot of a railgun spawns (because it's model confuses me somewhat), building conveyers, with the conveyer mode, which shows you through blocks where the block you are placing's ports are, which i find mostly useful for placing down armoured conveyers, and seeing exactly where landing gear's mag lock area is.
Aren't the reverse thrusters gonna burn the rearmost atmospheric ones?

Could you create a bigger version of it so that it could carry those inside like a mothership for colonising planets
Sooooo...a cruiser? You know, because it is meant to cruise, long range, has useful guns, self sufficient.
