you can reset turret movement by painting the turrets a separate skin to manually reset it

So if you want to reset a turret's position, change the material then change it back. It'll save you a ton of frustration.

windows on a spaceship...I still don't get it. Also - my design philosophy is always to keep the CIC in the rear or in the middle of the vessel...in the most secure and heavily armored part of the ship, versus the front, since ht enose always seems to be the piece that gets shot off the most the first time you attack anything.

I find it odd that people say conveyers lag them when I've had a million pcu with conveyors everywhere and never lagged my sim
you should build a large grid rover i'm going insane trying to build one, i can build anything but large grid rovers. need to see how you do it

Would you ever consider playing this game like it was the Expanse? I think there is an Expanse style server you could start on.
The custom turret grids let you make smaller weapons systems im kinda fond of making really small large grid ships using hydrogen and only a few ion thrusters. My hydrogen supply is normally 3 small tanks works great as a heavy gunboat. Make an AA battery using 4 autocannonson each plane and set them to cycle subsytems and you'll strip any ship down .
Looks more like a light gunboat or maybe musketbrig to me.
Light gunboats would only be armed with auto cannons or/and mg turrets and interior turrets this one can deal some damage to a capital with those *assault* cannons hence the name
Turrets reset if you paint them AND change the material. If you just paint them they stay the same.
I think you should name the ship the Oriskany DD 001

Lunar, you could put on a turret controller, and manually set the guns back, then remove the controller. It's a pain in the arse, but it's better than nothing?

34:50 can I recommend a mod called armour replacer? Just a simple mod that turns Light armoured blocks into heavy armoured blocks and vice versa, I use it all the time, to activate the mod you open chat and type: /replacer The mod will then turn your welder into the “replacer gun”, you can choose the size of area you want turned.

I know this is going to sound stupid but have you ever thought about combining all three of those ships that you're showing on this video combining all three of them into one big ship

I do agree with you it is interesting if you ever get a chance can you combine the three ships together see how the ship will turn out because combining those three ships together will be very interesting to see what type of ship they made out of it
