I love Sandsend. You did used to be able to stay in the carpark but they've stopped that. The walk along the beach to Whitby is great. The power bank can look after 10 devices. I'm currently building a new camper and the power bank would be great for it, especially for charging my daughter's mobility scooter, my vacuum and my laptop as I haven't got an inverter. It will do 10 items. This unit would be great for longer fishing sessions off grid. Currently, I'm restricted to 3 days only. With the unit, I could be out for 7+ days, great therapy for my PTSD. Keep the excellent content and bravery you are showing.
It will get better as you quickly learn where to stay for the night and daytime. Face your van into the wind where possible for a start and no busy roads overnight. Better still, over winter in Spain. 😊👍👍👍

I love Whitby, had a day out there today. I have stayed where you had stayed at Sandsend many times, as you say it’s not great for sleeping, every time I have been there I’m presuming it’s locals go past on their horn all the way down the road. However it is free to stay over, in summer it’s free 6pm to 9am.

10 devices at once 🤯 I would love love love the Grecell 500w Power Station because I’m currently at the start of my own Citroen Relay van build, a much needed upgrade from my little Citroen Berlingo microcamper. I don’t have any garage space for the renovation, and I’m currently depending on manual hand tools and a few cheap power tools with very limited batteries on the side of the road by my house 😂 I’m muddling along with my little hand saw on the wooden battens for my subfloor, but this power station would be an absolute game-changer, both for the reno and my future van living!
10 Devices. Keep at it Becca, sleeping in the van does get easier the more you do it. Some people find it easier to sleep having some background noise which could be from a fan or maybe a Echo Dot (can be powered from 12v) playing white noise. You'll find once the weather gets a little better it's so much better in and out of the van.

hi, you need to get your van a turbo NOW :)). You also need to get a dash cam front and rear, for insurance... and it might help you with your videos to show us these 25% roads, once again stay safe.

10 devices at once,, now thats awesome,,, im really loveing watching your videos ive wanted to do van life for last two years but vans are expensive for auto only so this year me and partner are attempting nc500 the t-500 would help use to do this with ease help blow up our car bed help charge our equipment with out having to have car on at night to charge them ,,, you have rely inspired use to do this it will be our first time.

Would be great to have in the car in winter in case you get caught out in poor weather I would use it a lot in my garage to negate the need for hundreds of trailing extensions all over the gaff. Also in summer outside in the Arden to run ambient lighting and speakers etc and of course while camping.

10 devices. There were no pants videos in the beginning, I enjoyed every single one. Im presently living in my van, which im still in the middle of converting. No extra home or place to do the work so its weekends given weather restrictions. It will definitely help with power tool usage as on the dry weekend days i get to do some work if it isnt to freezing. Lol and i hope to get my projector set up at some point so will be amazing to have a movie day or two. Youll need to get osme of them heated gloves to keep you nice and warm. Nothing worse than frozen hands. Keep the videos coming... you're doing amazing.
Grecell T500 charges up to10 items at once. Live in UK. I need to have it (please 🤞)so I can have a heater plugged in to warm the van in the morning. Didn't fit a diesel heater when we converted the van. I will fit a heater in the next van so the T500 can be used then for my Airfryer and microwave. Keep the vids coming 🚐❄

Were off around Europe this year in the van and this would enable us to keep our stroppy daughters phone topped up amongst other things. 10 devices The battery bank would help me immensely! I only have a small van (Nissan NV200) so don’t really have the space for a power setup like solar. At the moment I only have a handheld phone charger bank, which only lasts me 2 days of adventures, so with this I could go away for longer in the van and not have to worry about running out of power.

I know what you mean about seeing bits you didnt finish. Instead, I saw bits that were badly done by someone else and literally just spent a week building a new camper kitchen in my house kitchen and then thought ....ouch.....gotta take the crappy one out of viv now....which might end up being some time in 2025 lol. Also know what its like to be out in bonkers weather in the van. I'm not a lover of strong winds or horrible traffic wazzing past and I totally hate driving up and down big hills. Seeing Savanna in the van made me smile though. when me and mum had the big bessacar, we had a wonderful blue cream persian called Mysha. we also had a parrot called Bob (not kidding) and for the first few times, Mysha wasn't very happy but eventually she got to love going away. Bob and her were great chums until the stormy night at St Helens in the park campsite where the wind blew the door open and bob got out. miraculously ( another story for another day) we got him back but Mysha didnt like his smell or being dirty from his little adventure. She did learn to love going out on her harness and lead and even when she went blind, she was amazing in the van. Hope to see more of your adventures very soon with Savannah. 10 reasons I need a portable power station. #1 Like you, I'm converting my panel van into Gertie the campervan. I haven't got to the solar install yet, so need a portable power station to power the roof air fan. Things have become a little mouldy over winter! #2 I don't particularly like working on the conversion outside my home, and often drive into the middle of nowhere so the spaniel can have a good stretch while I work. If mobility isn't a factor in campervan conversions, I don't know what is. #3 While I like the idea of having a suite of battery operated tools one day, my current array is largely mains-based. Even once I am fully battery operated, I'll still need some method to charge the batteries! #4 I have a #VanLife UA-cam channel myself, but haven't yet started posting. Filming solely on my iPhone 12, means having a wireless method to charge it would encourage me to be more adventurous in my filming strategies. #5 Even when I do get my solar power fitted, such installations are not always 100% certain to keep you powered. It is always advisable to have a neat and compact portable power station to hand as a back up in an emergency. #6 At only 6kg, I don't even need to be tied to the campervan! I can take it out with me, wherever Gertie may take me. Even at home, I can imagine it could be more convenient than extension cables for certain tasks. #7 I've seen people question the utility of torches on their portable power stations, but I bet their scepticism is based on the lack of the need for one when they can't remember where the torch is. You're never going to forget where your portable power station is! #8 The option of having multiple inputs for charging also appeals. Charging on the move, at home from the mains, or away on your adventures with the optional solar panels really opens up possibilities that may not otherwise be a consideration. #9 My conversion is based on as lightweight and efficient a use of materials and products as possible. One wonders if the Grecell 500w portable power station is sufficient enough for me to abandon a dedicated solar solution entirely! #10 Well, ten being the answer, it seems only reasonable to add that with ten outputs to choose from, there is no shortage of choice for the lucky winner to connect whatever they want, whenever they want. And surely, that is the whole point of a truly portable power station? Love the channel, and admire your 'all in' approach to your first vanlife experiences. If you can weather (pun intended) these storms, imagine how much you'll enjoy the summers by comparison! Next winter, you'll no doubt be well seasoned to the extremes the UK can throw at us. Up to 10 Devices Becca, I would use that device for our new (New to us but it’s old 😊) caravan I’m buying from my future father in law. It’s based in Cornwall on a no power field site and the T-500 would be the answer to all our problems. Wife and I are new to camping/caravanning this year and her immediate concern for the summer was how she would blow dry her hair and on a night have power for an iPad so she can continue to enjoy her soaps etc 😏 Anyhow I will be looking to buy that bad boy and it’s put a smile on wife’s face 😊 looks like we will be getting our very first ‘late in life’ caravan after all and here’s to some great adventures to come. She’s 30 this year Becca and if there’s anything in the news that makes her anxious her hubby or anyone can tell her otherwise but she won’t be assured until she sees or talks to me, she had an asthma attack one day bad enough she had to be taken to A&E but the minute I got there she calmed straight down and came home 😊 we have always had a great bond since the day she was born, the minute she saw me there was an instant knowing we’ve met before and it was more a case of ‘oh there you are where have you been’ 😊 hard to explain and others may say whatever but daughters and dads will know. She will benefit from the caravan we will buy from future father in law as she would be able to come down to Cornwall with our 3 gorgeous granddaughters and stay too 🏖️ but with 3 girls, my daughter and the wife that’s why I will be buying the T-500 this year, all those curling tongs iPads and phones 😩 Anyway Becca carry on enjoying dad’s expertise and get him out on more adventures too 😉 we love to be asked along trust me x

I have stayed where you had stayed at Sandsend many times, as you say it’s not great for sleeping, every time I have been there I’m presuming it’s locals go past on their horn all the way down the road. However it is free to stay over, in summer it’s free 6pm to 9am.

10 devices at once 🤯 I would love love love the Grecell 500w Power Station because I’m currently at the start of my own Citroen Relay van build, a much needed upgrade from my little Citroen Berlingo microcamper. I don’t have any garage space for the renovation, and I’m currently depending on manual hand tools and a few cheap power tools with very limited batteries on the side of the road by my house 😂 I’m muddling along with my little hand saw on the wooden battens for my subfloor, but this power station would be an absolute game-changer, both for the reno and my future van living!

10 Devices. Keep at it Becca, sleeping in the van does get easier the more you do it. Some people find it easier to sleep having some background noise which could be from a fan or maybe a Echo Dot (can be powered from 12v) playing white noise. You'll find once the weather gets a little better it's so much better in and out of the van.
Daymm you should be a tv presenter! Shame about that parkup but you will find some absolutely awesome ones in future!!
10 devices. Love taking my kids away on camping trips to the forest. Only trouble is, I always have to call the AA out due to a flat car battery. Have you ever seen a teenager with a flat phone 😬🤣. 10 devices at once,, now thats awesome,,, im really loveing watching your videos ive wanted to do van life for last two years but vans are expensive for auto only so this year me and partner are attempting nc500 the t-500 would help use to do this with ease help blow up our car bed help charge our equipment with out having to have car on at night to charge them ,,, you have rely inspired use to do this it will be our first time.

Would be great to have in the car in winter in case you get caught out in poor weather I would use it a lot in my garage to negate the need for hundreds of trailing extensions all over the gaff. Also in summer outside in the Arden to run ambient lighting and speakers etc and of course while camping.

There were no pants videos in the beginning, I enjoyed every single one.
Im presently living in my van, which im still in the middle of converting. No extra home or place to do the work so its weekends given weather restrictions. It will definitely help with power tool usage as on the dry weekend days i get to do some work if it isnt to freezing. Lol and i hope to get my projector set up at some point so will be amazing to have a movie day or two.
Youll need to get osme of them heated gloves to keep you nice and warm. Nothing worse than frozen hands.

Grecell T500 charges up to10 items at once. Live in UK. I need to have it (please 🤞)so I can have a heater plugged in to warm the van in the morning. Didn't fit a diesel heater when we converted the van. I will fit a heater in the next van so the T500 can be used then for my Airfryer and microwave. Keep the vids coming 🚐❄

Hi Becca, the answer is up to 10 devices using the 10 output ports. This would be great for us in our campervan, family of 4. Were off around Europe this year in the van and this would enable us to keep our stroppy daughters phone topped up amongst other things. The battery bank would help me immensely! I only have a small van (Nissan NV200) so don’t really have the space for a power setup like solar. At the moment I only have a handheld phone charger bank, which only lasts me 2 days of adventures, so with this I could go away for longer in the van and not have to worry about running out of power.

The Grecell power station can charge upto 10 device's all at once, Hi Becca, really enjoying your van build video's and looking forward to your upcoming adventures, i would like a chance to win a power station as ive just bought a van of my own ( fiat Talento ) inspired by yourself and others I'm constantly watching on UA-cam, and it would help me with my own camper build and then become part of the essential's i would need on my own travel's, Coincidently I normally stop at a bench for a cuppa just near where you stopped on sandsend sea front when I'm out for a ride on my motorbike, and also travel up the 2 steep banks ( sleights and saltersgate banks ) when i ride across to Pickering then over to Helmsley then back over to home near Middlesbrough, anyway safe travels and stick with it, the sunny weather is just around the corner! x

I know what you mean about seeing bits you didnt finish. Instead, I saw bits that were badly done by someone else and literally just spent a week building a new camper kitchen in my house kitchen and then thought ....ouch.....gotta take the crappy one out of viv now....which might end up being some time in 2025 lol. Also know what its like to be out in bonkers weather in the van. I'm not a lover of strong winds or horrible traffic wazzing past and I totally hate driving up and down big hills. Seeing Savanna in the van made me smile though. when me and mum had the big bessacar, we had a wonderful blue cream persian called Mysha. we also had a parrot called Bob (not kidding) and for the first few times, Mysha wasn't very happy but eventually she got to love going away. Bob and her were great chums until the stormy night at St Helens in the park campsite where the wind blew the door open and bob got out. miraculously ( another story for another day) we got him back but Mysha didnt like his smell or being dirty from his little adventure. She did learn to love going out on her harness and lead and even when she went blind, she was amazing in the van. Hope to see more of your adventures very soon with Savannah. 10 reasons I need a portable power station.
#1 Like you, I'm converting my panel van into Gertie the campervan. I haven't got to the solar install yet, so need a portable power station to power the roof air fan. Things have become a little mouldy over winter!
#2 I don't particularly like working on the conversion outside my home, and often drive into the middle of nowhere so the spaniel can have a good stretch while I work. If mobility isn't a factor in campervan conversions, I don't know what is.
#3 While I like the idea of having a suite of battery operated tools one day, my current array is largely mains-based. Even once I am fully battery operated, I'll still need some method to charge the batteries!
#4 I have a #VanLife UA-cam channel myself, but haven't yet started posting. Filming solely on my iPhone 12, means having a wireless method to charge it would encourage me to be more adventurous in my filming strategies.
#5 Even when I do get my solar power fitted, such installations are not always 100% certain to keep you powered. It is always advisable to have a neat and compact portable power station to hand as a back up in an emergency.
#6 At only 6kg, I don't even need to be tied to the campervan! I can take it out with me, wherever Gertie may take me. Even at home, I can imagine it could be more convenient than extension cables for certain tasks.
#7 I've seen people question the utility of torches on their portable power stations, but I bet their scepticism is based on the lack of the need for one when they can't remember where the torch is. You're never going to forget where your portable power station is!
#8 The option of having multiple inputs for charging also appeals. Charging on the move, at home from the mains, or away on your adventures with the optional solar panels really opens up possibilities that may not otherwise be a consideration.
#9 My conversion is based on as lightweight and efficient a use of materials and products as possible. One wonders if the Grecell 500w portable power station is sufficient enough for me to abandon a dedicated solar solution entirely!
#10 Well, ten being the answer, it seems only reasonable to add that with ten outputs to choose from, there is no shortage of choice for the lucky winner to connect whatever they want, whenever they want. And surely, that is the whole point of a truly portable power station?
Love the channel, and admire your 'all in' approach to your first vanlife experiences. If you can weather (pun intended) these storms, imagine how much you'll enjoy the summers by comparison! Next winter, you'll no doubt be well seasoned to the extremes the UK can throw at us. If you ever consider coming to west Cornwall - and you absolutely should - I'd be only too happy to help in any way I can.

Up to 10 Devices Becca, I would use that device for our new (New to us but it’s old 😊) caravan I’m buying from my future father in law. It’s based in Cornwall on a no power field site and the T-500 would be the answer to all our problems. Wife and I are new to camping/caravanning this year and her immediate concern for the summer was how she would blow dry her hair and on a night have power for an iPad so she can continue to enjoy her soaps etc 😏
Anyhow I will be looking to buy that bad boy and it’s put a smile on wife’s face 😊 looks like we will be getting our very first ‘late in life’ caravan after all and here’s to some great adventures to come.

Thank you! Not sure how old your daughter is but it’s literally one of the best things in life, having a close relationship with your dad. So special 💕 she will cherish it big time as she grows.
She’s 30 this year Becca and if there’s anything in the news that makes her anxious her hubby or anyone can tell her otherwise but she won’t be assured until she sees or talks to me, she had an asthma attack one day bad enough she had to be taken to A&E but the minute I got there she calmed straight down and came home 😊 we have always had a great bond since the day she was born, the minute she saw me there was an instant knowing we’ve met before and it was more a case of ‘oh there you are where have you been’ 😊 hard to explain and others may say whatever but daughters and dads will know.
She will benefit from the caravan we will buy from future father in law as she would be able to come down to Cornwall with our 3 gorgeous granddaughters and stay too 🏖️ but with 3 girls, my daughter and the wife that’s why I will be buying the T-500 this year, all those curling tongs iPads and phones 😩
Anyway Becca carry on enjoying dad’s expertise and get him out on more adventures too 😉 we love to be asked along trust me x
