- Today I'm trying the Garnier Fructis Repairing Papaya Hair Food on my 2b 2c 3a hair. In total I have used the product on 3 washdays. So far, I'm happy with the product. I think it performs well as a leave in conditioner. As a deep conditioner, it did not do much for my hair. I left it on for 10 mins. Thats 9 more than suggested on the tub.
I will try the product as a hair mask again, this time leaving it on for 20 to 30 minutes. If my hair feels overloaded or over-moisturised, I'll update the description.
On my third washday I did use the Just Herbs Shirolepam hair mask as a deep conditioner and used the Garnier Fructis as a leave in conditioner. I think I saw way better results. Way better shrinkage and definition as well.

I am impressed with the banana variant,it did worked well on my 3a3b hair type. What i didn’t absolutely like is the strong fragrance they have put in it.
I was reading reviews on Amazon. The only mask with a light fragrance is the papaya variant that I picked up. The others have a very strong artificial fragrance.

Finally an Indian UA-camr posted a video on this product..I was a bit skeptical before buying it but it worked as a miracle for my hair. I have never had this much of definition before. I bought the banana one though. Also I have a question about the enliven hair gel. Does it give good hold? I'm looking for some affordable hair gels and it looks quite good on your hair but some people say it doesn't create that much of hold. Could you please help me out🙏❤️
Then I'm definitely going to buy the banana hair food when I see a sale.
See the enliven gel has alcohol so it's drying. It also has dmdm hydantoin which is a potential allergen. I wouldn't be keen on recommending it to everyone. Only if you don't mind these issues and want something super budget friendly I would recommend it.

The others are not great on my hair.

Thank you for the reccomendation! I bought the product but was surprised to the tub without a seal! Also, the packaging is kinda delicate when compared to other hair masks/tubs I have used in the past. I am starting to wonder if this would lose the fragrance in the long run 🤔
It had a white paper cover on top of the cream if I'm not mistaken
But yes, the tub is thin compared to other packaging I've seen.

I shampoo and condition using just herbs kumuda conditioner the day before yesterday. Then yesterday I applied mcaffeine latte hair mask sample on damp hair for 25 mins and rinse off with plain water. Its so nourishing(buttery,creamy,oily type) and my hair felt very smooth and voluminous and shiny too. The best part was smoothness. Please try that mask once . Its cruelty free also and silicone free

There's no magic recipe to grow your hair long unfortunately. Stimulate your scalp by dry scalp massaging. Your hair will grow based on your hereditary genetics.

To start with use a mousse, or aloe vera gel or flaxseed gel. Make it yourself. You'll find any easy diys on UA-cam or check out my highlight section on Instagram. After you're comfortable then get yourself a store bought gel

If your hair doesn't have an issue with coconut, you might like the product. It's not super heavy, it's not super light. I think you'll be able to use it as both if you're careful with the amount you use.
Hi Michelle, your hair are very gorgeous! My hair problem is that whenever I wash my hair after the wash they are very rough and dry even if i apply hydrating masks or conditioners,would be great if u could help
Are you in curl transition? In the beginning, because of silicone build up your hair will not be able to absorb moisture. Your best bet is to clarify for a few weeks till you see that you've removed the silicone buildup.
Is your hair high porosity? If so use a gel to seal and lock the moisture. Use an oil to sotc.
Use a heavy cream as leave in and pair it with a heavy mask.
High porosity hair has trouble retaining moisture.

I think this is perfect to begin with. Budget products. Not too heavy not too light. You can use it in 3 ways. Perfect for beginners!
You results will take a few months. Cause in the beginning of CGM you will go through curly hair transition.
You will face frizz. Your hair will feel greasy and heavy. So be prepared to stick it out. Its worth it.

Cg masks don't come under the affordable category sadly. They're all mostly 500 to 700rs. You'll need to buy them on sale when you see a huge discount or a bogo offer. I've done a couple of videos on the masks i recommend. Check out my playlist called Cg products India.

Ashba's ingredient list is class but it's too light for me. Garnier hair food's ingredient list doesnt compare but it gives me more moisture and definition.

I haven't tried the whole range yet.
I have a question - usually us curlies use shampoo free of sulphate and silicon . Howvever when i tried sulphate free shampoo my hair became really brittle and unmanageable and hair fall happened even though i was following CG method. I did this for around 6 month. But then i had to switch back to shampoo with sulphates.. is it ok to use shampoo with sulphates while I do other CG steps??
I don't think there should be a correlation between the two. If you do not like cg shampoos, see if using a clarifying shampoo every wash helps. They're quite drying on my hair personally. But do what works for you best.

Hey mam I'm new in my CG journey my hair is naturally wavy I'm currently using Mom's n co shampoo st botanica con and re'equil mask FMC moisturizing duo but my waves didn't last long next day it's like I didn't do anything. Why this is happening ?
I think firstly it's happening because you're new to cg. It takes time to curl train. Secondly you're using a medium hold gel. You could check out my tips for transition as well as my how to start CGM in India video. Explained all of this in detail

@@MichelleManuel the body shop strawberry conditioner worked better than this! It wasn’t a heavy product though ..
I had walked into body shop and asked about their cg friendly products. They said they did have a cg line but they're discontinued it.
I'm guessing you don't follow cg.
