Having a good quality belt can drastically improve performance on an older machine, so how well do these ones work?

I could so see that Home song actually starting out like it did when you played it on old belts. It suited the song pretty well!

Yeah, even with speed fluctuations, the song still sounds pretty good. I’m sure that the start up would make for some pretty interesting effects! I know I only mentioned it, but with that speed adjustment control, you could get similar results or even just play something slow/fast on purpose. Much easier to do with a fresh belt also since it immediately responds to the changes made. I would probably try adjusting the speed on purpose in the future to see how interesting it’ll sound and probably make a video demonstrating it. Ideally, I would get a good quality test tape first though.
