Incomparable use of the bow. Angelic sound. Near-flawless intonation. Such refined, inspired phrasing..... Only one artist in the entire world could ever play this better than you - Jascha Heifetz.
I'm not sure about the comparison, but I agree completely about the bow control. Stunning technique, it was the first thing I noticed. Agreed about rest of her playing as well. Really well done.
David Oistrakh, Jascha Heifetz, Grumiaux, are very old time great violin players also Rubinstein Horowitz and others because there were not many players in the arena in that time. Today, there are many excellent violin and piano players.
@@theforeverpuddle8754 easy to say "bow control" but starting at 1:27, aren't the F and the G tied? Those aren't super long notes that you'd have to play in two bows. That was just weird. Personally I found this piece better not only with Heifetz but also Capucon. Kang's rendition did nothing for me.

It's a lot tamer than Heifetz. The old masters had a big sound.
