I like these walks. It's like hanging out with my friends.
I have to confess - I live to hear Satoshi say squishiness 😍😍😍
Nice tour in Tokyo Hidden Gems . Thank you
Shinichi.. I love it when you pepper your discourse with Japanese...I always like to learn more words....
I am so glad and thankful you guys are making these type of videos. It’s just sooo relaxing and I feel like I am wandering along with you two.
I get such peace from your narration. Thank you.
That block literally has everything. Looked so relaxed as well, no one rushing around

I love that you ate Satoshi's remaining two dango and apologised as he was taking a second huge bite of your mochi lol.
Love the walking tour videos. Let's me experience the place thru your videos! Thank you 🌸
Yes, the stairs look like our Central one in Hong Kong
I like this shotengai. It has nostalgic feel to it. I would love spend some time there looking around and eating at one of the restaurants. It a good to avoid crowds.
Thanks for sharing your food adventures. ☺ Much love from 🇺🇸. ❤
Thanks for the walk guys. this video has been very interesting in the slow pace of in Japan
Letting you know I enjoyed watching this video 😊
The yellow stripe for blind people makes me want to sing Follow the Yellow Brick Road and start skipping. 💛

I'm enjoying these "Hidden Gems" videos. Thank you!
I'm cooking and watching and listening really peaceful video.
The cool thing about Japanese food is: so many things I want to try! And some things... I don't want anywhere near me! LoL!
That's definitely corn! 👍
I want to stay at the Bellagio in Vegas with a view of the fountain!!
Thank you both for this walk, the area looks friendly and not too busy and the food you tried sounds delicious.
Thank you for the continuation of Jujo Shotengai walk to Higashi-Jujo. I'd like to taste that Furutu Daifuku. I love angko or brown beans within a mochi but saw that one only now in my more than 25 visits to Jajan.
thanks for the share! stay awesome.
I would love to take a train tour with Satoshi!
Satoshi must do a collapsing John daub as he loves trains too. John keeps saying he will do a collaboration with you both soon too! Can't wait for that, it will be fun. X
Aloha! Beautiful neighbor Hood! I used to live behind a tofu shop. We used to play chase master in the bean room! Thank you! 🥰
all that and a Hawaiian Hula Studio too! (13:29)
I miss visiting Japan. Thank you for your videos-I enjoy visiting through them.
I really like these walks in not so popular parts of Tokyo. Some of these areas have a very Showa period feel to it.
Hello Shinichi.,👋 back at you Satoshi 😉🧡 so much to see in this hidden gem I just ❤ it. So pleased you took us on this journey I love walks with you, I learn so much .👍
So fun to watch! Thank you for showing us around the marketplace, I really miss going to Japan and eating all the yummy food. Pls have a good rest both and stay cool. Hugs from Manila 😀🧸
I love watching the places you go in Japan and teaching about the food we can get there
Keep these neighbourhood exploration videos coming! I could watch a thousand hours of this!!! Love it guys
I love these videos also I miss Japan, I want to go back so badly
I just missed a premier. What a wonderful place! I just love you guys.
Thanks for sharing, this used to be my local shopping St in the 80s, I loved it.
That dango place reminds me of a shop in Nezu where I used to buy ohagi. Miss going there.
That was a fun walk guys. I love that you're checking out local places you've never been to before. It's amazing what gems you find in your own backyard. You both take care and stay safe.😊❤
Hi guys , enjoyed the tour of the shotengai , great selection of shops and places to eat , also like the retro feel not to modern . Arigato 🙏
I am planning a trip probably 2023 and I have done some research I want to go that shotengai
Thank you for another amazing neighborhood video. It felt like I was walking beside you! So so fun!!🥰🥰
Thank you for this nice walk with you guys! I am missing Tokyo a lot! Stay safe both of you! O daijin ni!
Love these videos I would love to travel to Japan one day
Yes. That was corn growing in that lot. 🌽
Love this outdoor vlogs, I feel like I already went out 😍
Gosh I miss Japan, I used to visit every year. Thank you guys for these tours and walks, it was one of my favourite things to do, wandering around all the side streets and getting hopelessly lost lol.
It will suffice until our government let's us out into the world again.
I'm glad you guys found the Mochi shop! I will definitely go there the next time I'm able to come back to Japan. Can't wait to eat all the different Mochi from that shop! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you so much, I adore these videos of the shotengais. I especially love when there are flags/lanterns, the atmosphere is amazing.
Thanks Shinichi and Satoshi for bringing us along in this street tour. Brought me back to many good Japan memories. Keep up the good work guys. Stay safe.
Oh how I wish I could eat a dango. I ate dango in 1974.
Verry verry nice 😄😄👍👍
Daily Yamazaki! That's probably my favorite convenience store when I visit Japan, and it never seems to get mentioned when people are talking about 7-Eleven, Lawson's, and Family Mart. They have such a great selection of sweet and savory pastries, hot food, and breakfast items, I always wind up buying too much stuff when I go there.
Ok Shinichi-bro. I have decided you are amazing. I will subscribe and watch everything.
Thank you 😊
I love seeing these inner city vids because my only other exposure to what Japan kinda looks like is playing Persona 5, which I hear is actually pretty accurate.
I would love to visit Tokyo someday :)
I miss being able to explore places like this when I visit Tokyo. Hope things get better soon.
I love your videos. Thanks to you both my sushi tasted better than ever! I knew more about it and could taste the vinegar and sugar in the sticky rice. I had tuna with avocado, cucumber and seaweed! Yum! And thanks to you when I go shopping I can pronounce the names of foods and know what it means! I feel comfortable making noodle bowls now. I also knew to pick up extra firm tofu. I will marinate, sear to crispy outside and add to a bowl. I am having a good time! I mentioned before I did not think I could last a couple of days in Tokyo, but when the house is sold, I want to spend a month in Japan before going to a new home. I am afraid if the trains. I am old and I have no balance. I have to use a walker. I am not helpless but need to have a walker to prevent falling. And I can sit to rest if needed. I never see elders or disabled people in your videos. How do they get around? Probably your elders are healthier. But what if people like me who had a very bad accident? How do they do it?
So glad I could help you out with some of the words and it puts a smile on my face to hear you’re enjoying sushi a lot more. It’s true that our elders here are quite healthy especially in tokyo, since they walk so much. Don’t be afraid of visiting Japan. Most everyone will be more than happy to lend a helping hand. Even trains are fine. Just go to any of the staff members who can be seen everywhere. They will help you get on and off the trains and even guide you to the elevators.
@@Shinichisworld Thank you so much!!! I will not worry at all. I love you both!
Greetings from Canada 🇨🇦
I would like to see some retro Japanese dishes! That would be neat. ^_^
Shinichi always eats Satoshi’s food lolll
Japan is my favorite destination. Watched few of your videos, were you born in US, moved there when young ?
I lived in Hawaii throughout my childhood years
i like your vidio
I don't think that was corn, but it's hard to say for sure. It could be another grain though.
Hello Schinichi and Satoshi, how are you doing?
Can we please have a tour of Daily convenience store?
Let us know if you visit Las Vegas in the near future.
Please make a video about vegan food tour☺️ in tokyo
I just moved away fromLas Vegas because of my stroke the last place I saw was the Bellagio
It’s corn
no corona???
Is Satoshi a Trainspotter?
He definitely is
Are there many homeless people around? I don’t seem to see any! I’m in California so we see lots but in your video I don’t see
We have homeless in Japan, but nowhere near the number in the US.
in the last days i will pour out my spirit on all people, your sons and daughters will prophesy your young men will see visions your old men will dream dreams even on my servants both men and women i will pour out my spirit says the lord, acts 2 v 17
If you go to Las Vegas, don't stay at Paris, it is a dump. Venetian is fine but Bellagio is top notch. Can't go wrong with Bellagio.
Mmm only white county flag i see, i wonder why?
