All foreshadowing To Virgil Sanders being a dark side.

- BVideos In the Video do not belong to me,They belong To Thomas Sanders. :So I’ve search Ed the foreshadowing of Virgil being a dark side,and no Videos,So I made Them myself with some description of what’s Happeining and why it’s foreshadowing!
Every time Virgil says "because I was one of them" there's this sarcastic voice in my head (kinda like Deceit) who says "wow, really! I think that's a surprise to *no one* actually."
And the appearing thing is something the dark sides do, and he called them "the others" instead of the "dark sides" because he finds it rude or something, I think the voice thing is just when his anxiety is heightened, but it still made me screech when he said he was one of the others because he sounded so sad and disappointed in himself and Thomas' reaction wasn't great either and ugh I just feel bad for him

I think when he was mentioning his ‘name’ he meant the old name he had as in paranoia instead of anxiety (I dunno just a thought)

But I mean deep inside we all must’ve been like, “Virgil a dark side? Actually yes I think so.” I also want to mention how Deceit, Remus, and Virgil show up. Roman, Patton, and Logan all... whoosh up from the bottom, while D, R, and V just pop in. Isn’t that interesting?
Crystal Spark It is only in moving on (when they leave the room) virgil rises up. And since this is after him being a light side he is not used to it.

Well I think they just pop up because those feelings and/or thoughts just pop up unexpectedly instead of slowly coming in when it’s convenient for you
They can pop up it just feels weird to them so they pop in they can do it but chose not to as in moving on virgil said it sent him lightheaded :p
My reaction to the reveal was to scream to the sky, “CONFIIIIIIRRRRMED!!!”
Another way to know he was a dark side was when he was about to say his name Roman said "yeah we don't even know." As we already knew the others knew each others names to start, and also when remus said his name everyone didn't already know that just like virgil.
Another reference is when deceit talks about Virgil not sharing things with the group, I know he said he was talking about Virgil’s name, but I think he was actually talking about Virgil being a dark side

I don't think it's about him being a dark side because if I remember roman a few episodes back actually said "you are nothing like the others" maybe this implies they all knew or maybe just roman new
Theory: (this is just my idea please don’t be mean) Thomas used to struggle with SEVERE anxiety, bordering or classifying as an anxiety disorder. Virgil used to be that side until he was accepted by the group in the Accepting Anxiety videos. He has since grown and is now accepted as more than just fear, but his dark side was paranoia. (If you watch some of the videos some sides mention the word paranoid but cut off and look at Virgil.) All the dark sides are being revealed and it’s leading up to a ploy for them to make Virgil a dark side again. Virgil will have to go back into his old self to deter them, causing massive strife for Thomas.
Again, just my theory about where the Sanders Sides videos are heading.
Patrick Miller one problem with that theory. Thomas shut Roman up about saying the word paranoia before he knew about the dark sides. Paranoia is most likely a word that annoys Virgil, either because it seems to him that they are forgetting all that he went through or I dunno, he doesn't want to be classified as paranoia, because he isn't, he's anxiety.
my theory is none of the sides like to say paranoid because i think that thare could be a side that is paranoia...
and if you think about it it's sumthing that all of the sides could have and/or experience so i think that paranoia could be a dark side that is feared by all the other sides...
@@thesoulthempire3288 That's a fair point but they always stop saying it and look at Virgil/it makes Virgil visibly uncomfortable. Of course if paranoia is another side he'd be uncomfortable thinking of it, but why would the other sides look at Virgil half way through the word? (Could be moments I ignored or misread, please don't be mad if I did)

as he says this he glances over at Virgil, who becomes noticeably uncomfortable.
Apart from those quotes, Deceit and Remus have intense eye makeup like Virgil, so one could make connections early on. Also, both Roman and Logan, in two separate episodes, cut themselves off from saying "paranoid". So one can theorize Anxiety used to be Paranoia.

These are cool but I think we can also attest with Evidence too, he knows what his powers are, particularly his voice, and he panicked at hearing it. I'm mean until he actually uses it to tell thomas to hang up... hes trying to not talk... though it slips through
You forgot that moment in the court room where deciet was talking to virgil and hinting that he was a dark side.

There are also videos where the other sides are about to mention something about Paranoia but then immediately shuts up after looking at Virgil because that's what Virgil was as a darkside

You also hear the deep echoy voice in intrusive thoughts when Virgil sees Remus
Actually, I really hope Thomas does an episode where Deceit and Remus band together to try to get Virgil back, hopefully a two parter. I never watch through the ending parts and now I really wish I did

His voice warps in “Dealing With Intrusive Thoughts” and his body language when him and the others are all behind Thomas during Remus’ song says a lot too, but I think that came out after Virgil had already said that he used to be a dark side.
After rewatching the series I realized, had he not admitted to it, I would've thought he was also a dark side at first

That deep voice is when Anxiety's...well...anxiety get's extreme. I mean, more extreme than on avalanche (average.) Just like it did when he saw Remus peaking out from behind the TV about to bonk Roman upside the head.

I think everyone knew that though. Even when deceit was revealed. Virgil acted like a dark side before being accepted.

Also the dark sides appear instead of popping up like the lights. Virgil never rose up but just appeared
tbh anxiety has always been seen as a negative thing along with depression so it's not as big as iron man dying in the last avengers but virgil is becoming less overbearing and is not as heightened as he was shown in the beginning.
Fun fact: ...I just noticed that all dark sides just appear out of the blue whilst the light sides sink out and in
