Faszination Weihnachtskrippe in Tirol

Die Firma RIEPO Video Creativ, Robert und Monika Riedl aus Polling, stellt
seit 15 Jahren vielseitige Videoproduktionen her.
Mehr als zwei Jahre lang durften wir namhaften Krippenkünstlern über die Schulter schauen und diese bei ihrer faszinierenden Kunst filmisch begleiten.
Diese Doppel DVD ( je 53 Minuten) sollte die hohe Kunst der Krippen-bergbauer, Bildhauer, Figurenschnitzer, Fass- und Landschaftsmaler unserer Zeit bei der Arbeit zeigen und gleichzeitig als Zeitdokument für spätere Generationen dienen.

Typically, the wood used in the Tyrolean region is either cembra pine or linden (lime/basswood). I attended the Geisler-Moroder School of Woodcarving, and these are the types of wood they still use.
