This is an enlightened orange blossom. Fortunately, on my skin the the cumin is silent. The orange blossom, florals and neroli create a bright, elegant fragrance. The wood and musk add a luxurious weight. I’m always complimented on it. There’s wow, then curiosity. It is so special. When I want FLeurs D’Oranger to be playful, I layer it with Nerolia Blanca.
Here in Indonesia where it is hot and super humid, the cumin stands out like a queen meeting another queen which is obviously the Orange Blossom. This perfume smells so good here….
I literally just received this in the mail the other day so even though I didn't ask for this review, I am so glad you have it up here today. That said, I looooove this fragrance. On my skin I get mostly the woody deep orange blossom scent on the dry down, but I do have to say when I first sprayed it I was not sure I was going to be a fan, and now I'm thinking it was probably the cumin. I could not stop smelling myself the other day when I wore this. This is an interesting gem.
Now I love cumin in my foods, not in fragrances I would actually wear! Love orange blossom in a perfume - would love to find one that is prominent and long lasting, any suggestions? Thank you
I just bought this perfume and l love it and l don’t find the cumin note all that strong on my skin. I smell tuberose and then orange blossom they seem to altenate on my skin it’s a love job for me.
Yeah! I love SL Fleurs D'Oranger! It's such an intoxicating, luscious, sexy, indolic white floral! I like to wear this in the dead of winter to bring some sunshine and in the spring summer when it's hot but not too hot. I don't get any cumin on me at all! but indolic white florals usually work really well for me :) It's so funny how different skin reacts to perfumes, I didn't even realize this was a polarizing scent :) This is my fav orange blossom fragrance and fav from this house! Also love Santal Majuscule & Un Bois Vanille; but Jeux de Peux and Feminité de Bois were scrubbers on me :( Try them all to see what works for you!
I remember the first time I smelled it. I thought the OB opening was gorgeous but it quickly turned to rank BO on my skin. I was heartbroken. I guess my skin amps cumin. I love it in food but mostly dislike it in perfume. This was several years ago so I wonder if it has been refo'd and the note softened. Great review!
I was wondering what to wear this morning when this video came up so I went for it. I have like a 4ml dab bottle. I'm liking it the more I test it but it's not a love. I had to sell the Rochas Femme I had because the cumin in that is just so strong! I'm not enjoying the cumin in this either.

I dismissed it when I first tried it, but revisited the sample (due to a conversation in a fragrance group) and I fell in love. I went through a sample and bought a bottle. Two of my other favorite orange blossom scents are Vivienne Westwood Boudoir and Armani Code for her (the original version).

Some months ago I found it at my local shop but now in the black label and I guess it has been reformulated. I wanted to ask you whether you have the old or the new version of it. Thank you!
I just bought this and debating keeping it. They spoiled it with cumin in my opinion because it smells like BO to me. It has some beautiful notes a bit reminiscent of JPG original perfume. But why did they have to put that BO spice scent? 😂 No woody notes to my nose. I get orange blossom, a touch of jasmine, tuberose and a big smack of stinky cumin. I will say though, it is better on the dry down than on the opening. I am afraid I will stink wearing it. Like will I smell like sweaty BO? 😂 My favorite Serge Lutens (for years!) has been Un Lys. It’s very strong and lasts a long time. So beautiful.
I love SL Fleurs d'oranger. It's one of my colleagues signature fragrance. I prefer Féminité du bois, Ambre sultan and Un Bois vanille (for my sweet tooth). ;-)

I got the surprise of my life the first time I sprayed this on because I hate cumin, too.😳 You are so right, though. The dry down is where this fragrance shines. I’m still struggling with it but I would LOVE to smell this on a partner (should I ever get one😄).
I’m really trying to like this jasmin heavy old lady smell on my skin chemistry. I hope it settles down. I will take your advice and let it take its course. Hoping for better results
I've tried this on at a duty free store in an airport and sprayed it on my neck and I found myself embarrassed during the whole duration of my flight because the couple sat next to me couldn't handle the smell of it and thought that I stink. I pretended to be asleep during the whole flight after seeing them cover their nose and hearing them murmur how I smelt like an Indian. (kind of racist to be honest but I get the reference). Nevertheless, I quite enjoyed the smell of this fragrance. It's bold, indolic, and bright at the same time. It's definitely not for everyone.

Oh my God!! This is one of my most favourite fragrances. You just need a spray or two, longevity is 10/10 i think this fragrance is fantastic!

frangrances of Francesca Bianchi r an whole other level .... not really a orange blossom...I love all her scents btw.
Have you tried Safanad? It’s very nice but seems too simple to me. So far PDM is not my favorite house.. I think this orange blossom sounds better..

It’s the cumin! I really dislike cumin in fragrances for myself. To me it leans masculine because of the cumin.
