Most people do not understand how ayahuasca works. Disappointing that Jon here in this video also equates it to “getting high” as if it was pot. Most of the time it is deep shadow work so certainly there’s nothing “high” about it. It’s not some temporary high like alcohol. The purpose is to strip away egoic conditioning in all its many layers and clear/heal the body over time. But that’s the American/western attitude about sacred plants that have been used in spiritual practice for thousands of years.

The problem with Ayahausca is that it is temporary. Like everything else it is impermanent. Non-duality awakening without the drug would be preferred.
